An incredible read! I loved it from page one!! Wonderfully written. Sexy hot! Romantic. Touching.

I really enjoyed this short, sexy read. It definitely exceeded my expectations. We were given more than just sex but a story with heart and that’s sometimes hard to do with novellas.

Charlotte is the first daughter of the POTUS. Her parents are beyond controlling. She never gets time just to be her. Charlotte comes off as a spoiled rich girl at first. The more I read though the more I started liking her.

Zane is Charlotte’s bodyguard and would do anything to protect her. He’s been secretly in lust/like with her since he was assigned to her. When the opportunity arises he doesn’t hesitate to take what’s his. Zane really comes off as arrogant and even cruel at times but the more I read about him the more I loved him. He has many layers to him and I loved how he opened up.

Misadventures of the First Daughter is a hot as sin, suspenseful read that you can’t put down until the last page. I really hope Meredith and Mia write a full book about them.

Charlotte is the First Daughter who`s trying to bring attention to herself by partying. Her assigned secret service agent Zane Parker can see why she is acting like this but it is beyond his control, until one night he sees her at a club and he maker her a deal. Submit to him, and stay out of trouble. Their chemistry is off the charts and their attraction for each other makes him extra protective towards her. Can her past break up what they have?

This series continues to get sexier and sexier as we go along. I don't even know any other way to put it LOL I am also really amazed at how these stories come together so well in such a short length. Not a single one has missed the mark!

The story or rather background of Charlotte Daley is very typical for a political child and a single child at that. Politics and appearance take first chair with her parents. She's invisible to them but not the world. She's had to watch every move she makes and she's fed up!

Zane Parker is the agent assigned to protector her and he is struggling. Not only because she's a handful of shenanigans, but because he wouldn't mind getting his hands all over her ;) His first priority is to protect her; his lust for her has to be ignored. Until it can't be!

WOW .... what a passionate and sinfully sexy short read this turned out to be. These two were a powerhouse of sparks. And as it always goes with political reads, there's a suspense edge to the story that intensified the overall story-line even more than the passion these two had. I really loved the circumstances that put Zane and Charlotte on the path of discovering their passion together. It was perfect for these characters. Another excellent example of how to write love without length! Well done ladies!

I have LOVED every book in this series so far but this one has just moved to the top as my favorite! The chemistry between Charlotte and Zane was combustible, explosive and hot as hell that I couldn't put it down. I was so enraptured and spellbound by the story that I was glued to this book from the very beginning to the very end. Definitely a must read in the Misadventures series!

Sexy and flirty, this is a nice addition to the Misadventures series. It's like a filthier and kinkier version of The Bodyguard, and Zane is definitely hunkier than Kevin Costner.

Let me just tell you ALL the reasons why I love this series...

I love that each book is written by a different author. This gives us such a wonderful opportunity to read authors that we wouldn’t have otherwise read.
I loved that each and every story is different and that each story opens up the possibility for the author to expand their stories.
I love that I can start anywhere in the series without getting lost since each is a story in its own.

My list just goes on and on….

What I loved particularly about Misadventures Of The First Daughter was the story itself… I couldn’t put it down. I got so caught up in this remarkable couple’s story up to the point where I kept swiping swiping swiping my ereader hoping that there was more. I didn’t want it to ever end!

I do have to admit, there was a sentence or two that made me cringe since it felt far too similar to Fifty Shades but after getting past that I was relieved that those were the only similarities.

I adored this couple. I didn’t know what to think about Charlotte at first. I thought she was your typical young adult trying to test the boundaries set by her parents but as you get further into the story you gain so much insight in all the difficulties that someone like her faces everyday being that sheltered. I would have been even more rebellious that she was. In the end though, I am glad that she was able to gain her freedom.

I loved that Zane was there as an inspiration to her. It was him who made her realize that there was so much more to life then what her parents expected. I love that he cared for her, protected her….possessed her…..What they sacrificed for each other definitely proves that these two have staying power.

I enjoyed this story and without a doubt recommend my friends read it. As a matter of fact, I would recommend reading the entire series. So far, I’ve enjoyed each and every story and can not wait to read more. If you are new to the series start this one. I assure you, you will be instantaneously hooked and can not wait to get to the next one just like I am!

Are you ready for another misadventure? This edition brings us to Washington D.C. and has shades of BDSM, suspense, and forbidden romance. I thought this was a good story, once again it’s a quick and steamy read. Zane knows everything at risk by becoming involved with the woman he’s charged with protecting, especially since said woman is also the First Daughter, but he can’t stay away. I thought the forbidden romance aspect was well done. It was hard to see a way around their situation and the consequences felt very real. There’s a touch of BDSM, with Zane being a Dominant, but honestly, the book didn’t really dwell on that aspect. I would have liked to of seen that dynamic explored a little more, as it was, I felt like the story could have gone on just fine without including that piece. The forbidden aspect was enough to make it intriguing. But I did like the suspenseful aspect and the action toward the end and the subsequent fallout. The end wrapped up quite quickly, but I was happy with the way things turned out. Overall, this was an easy, quick, and steamy read. Just what we’ve come to expect from these fun little misadventure books!

A forbidden love between a first daughter and her bodyguard filled with danger and a lot of action.

Charlotte is the new first daughter. She can't go anywhere without having a bodyguard with her. Wanting to freedom and things like they used to be, Charlotte rebels. She's partying, schemes and plots to ditch her bodyguards.

Zane responsible to protect and keep Charlotte safe, as well as keep her out of trouble. He's gotten her out of a few sticky situations. Charlotte is out of control and Zane knows exactly what to do to tame her, even though it may be unprofessional.
Zane is all kinds of sexy. He's attractive, caring, and a Dominate. I loved his dominate side, though it seem like he lost some of it; he became softer, gentler after awhile. I was hoping for more. Regardless the scenes with those two were scorching... fans self. Charlotte and Zane had hot chemistry. I sympathized with Charlotte. I understood why she was acting out and didn't like how she was treated some times. There were few characters that made me want to scream and throw my tablet.

Misadventures of the First Daughter is a sexy read with light BDSM. It didn't lacked action–not only that kind of action, but also the suspense kind. The twists and turns had me reading until the very end. This has become a favorite of the Misadventures series.

I really enjoyed this installment in the Misadventures series. I've read every book that Meredith Wild has released. While I'm not as familiar with Mia Michelle, I thought both authors made a good writing duo. This book centers around Charlotte Daley, the President's daughter, and Zane Parker, the secret service agent assigned to protect her. Charlotte's parents are not very attentive, to put it mildly. In return, Charlotte is a bit of a handful. Charlotte and Zane have mutual attraction but Zane is determined not to act on it. It takes a violent run-in with a potential suitor to change things for both of them. Zane has to come to her rescue. After an unexpected encounter with Charlotte at a sex club, Zane can no longer deny himself. After that a steamy affair begins. This book had all the things I enjoy in a romance: Suspense, sexual tension, hot sexy times, sassy BFF, and the story's not complete without a psycho villain. Overall, very nice outing for both authors.

I loved reading the awesome and amazing romance story. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of the novel through NetGalley. Zane is hired as Charlotte's, the President's daughter, to be her bodyguard. Charlotte's wild partying ways are getting out of hand, and Zane needs to offer her a compromise. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written with an engaging and intriguing storyline, and a must read love story.

A hot bodyguard and a sassy First Daughter. Oh yeah I love this forbidden romance book with a hint of D/s vibe in it.
He supposed to protect her body but when he did it in bed too, everything is become complicated and exciting.
I can't stop reading it from the beginning, thanks to the superb sexual tensions between Charlotte and Zane, there's plenty hotness here. This book totally got me hot and bothered.

As for characters. I looooovveeeeee Zane, he oozes dominant and he's a one sexy hot bodyguard so I love his protectiveness.
And Charlotte, I didn't like her at first, she's like a spoiled brat looking for attention, but the more I read the more I understand her, in the end I do like this girl.
Love this couple, their banters so refreshing and I can feel their attractions towards each others. And of course I love the hotness they're bring in this book.

Love the story, love the drama, love the characters. So overall, I love everything.

If you're looking for a forbidden romance read, this one is a MUST-READ.

This was an absolutely wonderful book that I could not put down. I was rooting for Charlotte and Zane through the whole whole book and there where so many twists and turns I wasn’t sure what was going to happen. I could not put this book down. Charlotte is the first daughter and her parents pretty much ignore her and Zane is one of her secret service agents that are in charge of keeping her safe. But they may just want to hit the sheets together. This story is great with Zane needing to keep Charlotte out of trouble of her own making and some from outside forces.
Meredith Wild and Mia Michelle have done a great job with a wonderful book that keeps you interested and you won’t want to put it down. This is another hit in this series and I can’t wait for the next one i this series of stand alone books.

This fifth book in the Misadventures series showed promise with its forbidden romance, and I did enjoy the love story between Zane and Charlotte and I think I would've enjoyed it more had the story focused more on that aspect. This pair is quite good together and their story does get steamy with a bit of Dom/Sub light. The danger and suspense added was a nice touch to keep the story flowing, but the her problems with her parents added more angst than I cared for. The story does end well, if a bit abrupt after everything this couple had gone through, and it is worth the read, just a bit high on unnecessary angst for my tastes.

I absolutely love this book. I love how Zane and Charlotte get along. Their chemistry just springs off the page. They are intense and interesting. Charlotte is trying to get attention in the worst ways. Her dad is now the president and has no time to give her. Zane is her body gaurd, her protector, and also her reasn to keep going. I love their story.
This is a must read for sure. You will love this book. I gaurentee you will be hooked from page one. The charecters are extremly well written. You can tell the athors put a lot of time and effort into their work. They Keep you reading page after page and before you know it your done.

A great, hot, and sexy read. A hint of a forbidden storyline, add that with a dominant bodyguard plus a sassy first daughter that equals a scorching page turner.

This is the 5th book in the Misadventures series. These books all stand alone and are complete novels with heas. They are characterised by being fresh, fun and sexy with stories that keep the pages turning.

We’re suspending reality a little bit with this one (although I’ll admit not as much as we did in Misadventures with a Super Hero!). I’m honestly not sure that anyone could have risen through the ranks to become a secret service agent assigned to the president’s detail at the tender age of 25 but, hey - maybe they can and this cynicism is yet more evidence that I’m getting old!

The other bit that made me laugh with the sheer convenience was when Charlotte and Zane have a ‘moment’ in the pool room of the White House. But not to worry, this is one of the few rooms where there are absolutely no cameras or security.

If you’ve come to this book and are excited by the BDSM element then you might be in for a little bit of a let down. There’s the club, there’s some spanking, some ‘yes, sir’ ‘no, sir’ and that’s probably it. Oh, apart from the deep throating which even made me gag. Maybe others disagree but that is not sexy to me. Boke!

All that aside, I really did enjoy this book. No, I really did! It was fresh, feisty and oh so sexy. Zane and Charlotte’s chemistry was always simmering away in the background (and foreground!), wholly believable and the sex scenes were deliciously hot!

I’m not normally into books with college aged heroines so I was surprised when I really liked Charlotte. She was bratty at times and occasionally spoiled along with it - and lord, she liked to make the same mistakes multiple times to make sure she really learned her lesson. But, with all that, she was honest, real and owned her mistakes and bad behaviour. I was rooting for her almost from the first.

Now Zane - whew - he hit all the right buttons for me. The strong silent types are just my thing, especially one who’s tempted beyond measure for someone or something that should be forbidden to him. The fact that it was Charlotte just ramped up all that sexual tension and simmering attraction. A great guy, a great character and a great foil for Charlotte’s personality.

The story was fast-paced and I was really drawn into all the twists, turns and excitement of this world so alien to most. The ending was a bit of a twist and slightly unusual - but it worked. And it was happy which is all I really care about!

A sexy book with great characters and a page-turning plot - this is a book that I would happily recommend. 4 stars.
