The Misadventures series has been an up and down roller coaster for me, with this installment being more up than down, but not without its issues. The story reminded me a LOT of the movie First Daughter, but with a sexier element. That could have been a good thing, but I felt that the book mirrored that movie a little too closely. Overall, I liked Charlotte and Zane together, but to me it felt like Zane forced Charlotte into a D/s relationship, instead of easing her slowly into one. I really hated Charlotte's parents, and the glimpses of the relationship between Dmitri and Katherine, as they seemed to steal the show from Zane and Charlotte. I did love the ending of the story, though, and would recommend this book to others looking for a steamy political romance.

If you want a book with a lot of sex scenes then Misadventures of the First Daughter by
Meredith Wild & Mia Michelle, Misadventures book five. Charlotte Daley might be the adult daughter of the president but being an only child she’s been spoiled and neglected by her powerful family. Zane Parker has just one job, protect the president’s daughter, all day, every day. Charlotte has been partying a bit too hard and before she ruins her reputation Zane is determined to set her straight, discipline her as only he is able to. As Charlotte falls under Zane’s spell of forbidden pleasure, danger awaits to keep these two lovebirds from the possibility of a happy life and being together in their love for each other.

I enjoyed reading this book and had trouble putting this book down. There was definitely a lot of time in this story spent with Charlotte and Zane sharing sex, in detail. I recommend this book to other readers and am looking forward to the next book in this series.

What do you do when your father is president of the United States, and your mom is too busy being a political wife to pay you any attention? If your name is Charlotte, you get into all kinds of mischief, and boy does she.

Charlotte has always felt ignored, and pushed to the side; insignificant in the sight of her parents. Needless to say she has a wild streak.

Zane is the Secret Service Agent that has been assigned to protect and keep her out of trouble. Needless to say he has his job cut out for him.

But what occurs between these two is more than adventure, and certainly more than a job. More than what they both bargained for. There seems to be a sexual current that flows between the two of them. She pursues, he runs. But one can only fight the attraction or run for so long without eventually getting caught up in the magic of desire.

What Meredith and Mia gave us was plenty of humor, a tad bit of angst, and a whole lotta heat! But then can we expect anything different from these two? After all, they are two of the best writers in the game.

Five stars for Meredith and five stars for Mia so that means I give it a solid ten!

This book is hot I don't recommend you read it while the pre-k class your subbing is napping. Lesson learned haha.

There were times I wish Charlotte would have stood up for herself to her parents a bit more.

I wanted more of this story, it ended to soon for me. Also I loved Charlottes best friend Kat, I think she needs a book of her own.

Misadventures of the First Daughter is a very fun story, with some interesting twist and turns. How do you mix love, mischief, danger, mystery, and parents into one story?. While that is an odd collection, what is even more interesting is how each is resolved. As the title says these are the Misadventures of the First Daughter, and as such, Charlotte is calculating, smart, resourceful and strong.

Secret Service is always there to protect her. It should come as no surprise these fellas have secrets they are keeping. But what makes it more interesting is how those secrets intertwine when she finds herself either in danger or discovering a world she knew nothing of.

I loved this story. It is cute, light, sexy and fast paced. Meredith Wild and Mia Michelle both deserve more than five stars each for this, but that is all they let me give.

This is the fifth book of this epic series Misadventure. Where do I begin? This book blew me away. Meredith is one of my top three authors that I love and she never disappoints. I have not read anything from Mia but after reading this book I will be looking into her books now. These two ladies created a masterpiece together. I was hooked immediately to these characters. I could not put this book down. I devoured this amazing read in one day.

Charlotte Daley is the daughter of the newly elected president of the United States. She is the only child to her mother and father and Wow is she spoiled. Charlotte has it all but what she really wants is her parents back. Ever since her father became the POTUS she feels like she can't do anything right. Charlotte starts to act out to get the attention that she wants. She ends up getting herself into some trouble but her very hot secret service guard saves the day. Charlotte now has her eyes on something else, Zane. Will she get what she wants or will she find herself in danger?

Zane Parker had one job and that is to protect the president’s daughter with his life. He notices that Charlotte is going down a dangerous path and it must stop. Zane knows what she needs dominance and he wants to give it to her. The only thing is he does not want to lose his job. He realizes quickly that he has true feelings for her. Will he have to give up everything to have what he wants?

This book is phenomenal. This book has it all hot romance, suspense, and a lot of challenges. The storyline will have you hooked until the very end. You will fall in love with these characters immediately. Charlotte is misunderstood due to her parents. Deep down she is a sweet woman. She wants to live her own life like a normal person. Zane is all business and kind of cold in the beginning but you will find out why he is the way he is. Zane is a real hero that will make your heart melt. These characters have some very hot scenes that will make your toes curl. This book has a lot of twists and turns that you will not see coming. The ending made me have tears in my eyes. These ladies did an amazing job together. I can't wait to read more of this epic series.

I found that it took a little while to warm up to the heroine, for all her wild behavior, but I eventually did. The sex scenes between these two were steamy. The hero protects her during the day and at night, she submits to him.He is an Alpha male, while she is a strong-willed female, so of course there is some friction between these two. Despite the consequences to both of them, their connection is too strong to not be together. They hit some bumps on their road to happiness, but they do eventually get it right and get their happy ending. These two had me a little worried for a while there that they might not be together in the end. I breathed a sigh of relief. I liked these two together. I am glad they both did get their happy ending. This was a good story. I read it cover to cover because I could not put it down.

I liked this misadventure very much. It was extremely hot but had depth too.
Charlotte really grows as a character and Zane goes from being unemotional to in love progressively.
The only reason it lost a star is because I would have loved an in depth epilogue.

Charlotte is the president’s daughter. Zane is this sexy secret service bodyguard who’ll do anything to protect her. The attraction between the two is undeniably there from the start. Will they act on that attraction?

The collaboration of Meredith Wild and Mia Michelle is pretty awesome. It’s fast-paced, no downtime reading this book and one of my fastest read actually because each scene is so well-written that you cannot afford to put it down until you reach the last page. A contemporary romance with a little Dom/sub-element at best and it was a great read for me. Highly recommended!

Great story that had me thirsty for more from the other characters!
This was the first book I've read in the Misadventures series which posed no problem at all since each book is a standalone. I am so glad I went out on a whim and jumped in when I did because I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Charlotte has a life that has been mapped out for her by her overly ambitious parents. Constantly required to play the part of a showcased daughter to project the happy family voters relish is a chore Charlotte despises. Desperate for a life of her own she finds a kindred spirit in her friend Katherine. Together they find themselves way out of their depth in a private BDSM club. With luck on their side, Charlotte’s off-duty bodyguard Zane spots her and makes sure the two girls stay out of harm's way. Seeing Zane in this playground ignites a connection that he has kept locked down up until now.

Considering Charlotte seeks freedom more than anything, the lure of a Dom controlling her was not what you would consider an adventure she would fall so easily into. Zane fights his professional and emotional self but he crosses boundaries when Charlotte requires rescuing on more than one occasion.

There was a nice mix between nurturing and attraction between her bodyguards. Recognising the lack of quality family attention in Charlotte’s life, the older of the two was such a sweetie, and I loved that he was looking out for her. Zane, the younger bodyguard facilitated the steamy stolen moments providing a good distraction to the sad stifling scenario Charlotte couldn’t escape.

What I loved about this story was the way Charlotte eventually finds her way in life despite her parents. The two bodyguards assigned to Charlotte view her through different lenses yet their resolve to keep her safe was equally high. Her story kept me on edge as she pushed boundaries, and while she occasionally came undone she never gave up.

My Review:

Misadventures of the First Daughter was a quick and lascivious tale that was loaded with sexy musings, angst, precarious situations, and breath-stealing erotic scenes – I was gasping like an escaped goldfish. My Kindle was burning through its battery and near meltdown. I recommend gathering your favorite libations to prevent dehydration and setting all fans to high. Zane had secretly lusted after his Secret Service assignment for over a year. Charlotte was a rather spineless and miserable twenty-year-old puppet/daughter of a cold and ambitious woman and a career politician who had parlayed themselves right into the White House. Their paths crossed after hours in a posh underground club where people went to secretly got their freak on, and they sorta did. What followed were a few extra steamy days and nights of titillating and bawdy texting and stolen moments that were sizzling, salacious, and incendiary. Oh my - this couple had death-defying and superhuman endurance as they went at it like porn stars. Until the jig was up, shots were fired, and despite heroics, the vile parents threw down their decree and ruined all the fun. But fear not, thankfully, after a bit of time, Charlotte was able to locate her spine, which made her infinitely more attractive a deserving of a happy ending.

Misadventures of the First Daughter was a perfect, steamy, and fully enjoyable read by Mia Michelle and Meredith Wild. I have loved each and every one of the books in this incredible series, but none of them have owned me quite as much as this book did. From the very first pages of the story, I was swept up into the all consuming fire storm of connection that was exploding between Zane and Charlotte. Everything I got with those two is something I won't soon forget. It was bursting with fire, laced with some very real feelings, and every new page that I got with them both just made me love what I was reading even more.

This book made me blush, it melted my heart again and again, and it showed what can happen when two people who are not supposed to be together, can't seem to fight what they feel and what they share. Every word of this story engrossed me more in everything they were sharing, and invested me wholeheartedly in the fire, in the heat, and in the wholly real connection they shared together. What I got with Charlotte and Zane as I read this book gave me at all. It gave me them, they gave me the very real feelings they shared, and it gave me every bit of drama and action and suspense and romance and fire along the way.

What I loved about this book is that it gave me a couple that should not be together, yet still could not help but feel and give into what was sparking between them. This book and it's events pushed them, their limits, and their hearts, and it pushed all of mine right along with theirs in the most amazing way. The way that Mia Michelle and Meredith Wild bring this story to life will have you living and experiencing and relishing in every word you get with them. You will be with them through all of the twists and turns, you will be with them as that fire and that steam turns into something more than either of them bargained for, and you will be with them as they see what could be.

Charlotte and Zane were the absolute best. I loved how real they felt, I loved how protective he was, I loved how she pushed his buttons every chance that she got, and I love that everything between them felt right even when the world and those around them said it wasn't. Charlotte and Zane were such dynamic characters that completely stole my heart from the very first pages of this book. Those two gave me it all along the way as I read this book, and I loved getting to know them and getting to discover and experience the depth of what they shared as the story unfolded. Meredith Wild and Mia Michelle created their characters in a way that made them authentic, made them so easy to love in every way, and in a way that made the connection and fire they shared tangible. I loved every moment of getting to experience that while reading this book, and it was just another thing that made this a phenomenal read.

Misadventures of the First Daughter was another outstanding addition to the series. It was outstandingly written, it had two characters that were real, genuine and honest, and so easy to love and root for, and it had a story that I could not put down from start to finish! This book had it all, and it perfectly well together a story of heat and fire, suspense and action, all while giving me a love story that hit my heart and other parts of me in the best way!

I can't say enough good things about this book. It's probably my favorite of the series so far, and it makes me eager even more to get more of the series, and more of these authors' exceptional writing! Misadventures of the First Daughter will not disappoint you one little bit, so do yourself a favor and run yourself to it this instant!

Charlotte is the first daughter who is acting out of control which is due to being an afterthought since her dad became President and Zane is the secret service agent protecting Charlotte. Zane has feelings for Charlotte , feelings he thought would go away but instead they have deepen and gotten more intense. Their chemistry is off the charts, insanely hot and their sex scenes are so sizzling hot, I needed several cold showers to cool off. Zane is a Dominant and he knows the way to keep Charlotte in control and calmed down. It’s the ole Dominant magic and it is woven quite well in this story. What you read is a great story of forbidden romance, filled with angst and drama, fire, passion and romance. I loved every moment of this story!!

This Misadventures book is just as steamy as the other books with a little romance thrown in. I felt sorry for Charlotte because even though she had every possible “thing” she wanted, all she really wanted was her parent’s love and time. Yeah ... I could have slapped her mother and given her father a kick in the a$$. Only thing missing ... It would have been nice to hear a little more on Zane’s background.

This was a great read and one that starts of really hot. Which did leave me wondering if there would be enough of a storyline to back it up. But there really was, and as the story progressed it became obvious there was much more to it than I had first anticipated. And I really did enjoy every moment of it, as it had me completely hooked. Plus the characters were great, as was the chemistry between Zane and Charlotte. And by the end I did think Misadventures of the First Daughter was a brilliant addition to the Misadventures series and its certainly one I would recommend to others.
