Wow!! Just wow!! I can't tell you how much I loved this book. Besides the fact that it was so darned steamy...I mean change your panties steamy...it had me on the edge of my seat and left me in tears at one point.

Charlotte is the First Daughter. She basically is a puppet for her parents and is a trophy for them to parade around. She is held to the highest standards. But all she wants is to live her own life....impossible but she still craves it.

Zane is Secret Service. It is his JOB to keep her out of trouble. He may have an attraction to her but he knows that he can't give into his urges. Zane is just plain hot. I can picture him and he hits all the high notes...including being so dominant.

A series of events will cause them both pain and tear them apart and there is absolutely nothing either can do to ever be together. Or is there? One of my favorite Misadventure books to date!

I have enjoyed this book . It is well written and kept me reading.

The Misadventures Series is fast becoming my favorite series,all of the stories are scorching hot ,with great characters and story lines.
Charlotte is the first daughter,who is constantly overlooked by her parents. Zane is the sexy Secret service agent assigned to protect her. When these two come together you get a scorching love story while they fight the ones against them.

Since Charlotte's father has been elected to President, she has been an afterthought to her parents. When they do think of her, it's in criticism and constant control of her life. She's desperate to gain back some of her own control but lacks the maturity to make the right decisions.

Zane has been fighting his attraction to Charlotte since he was assigned to her detail. He's had enough of her bad decisions when the latest brings her to the attention of someone who won't take no for an answer. Zane is a Dominant and he knows the best way to bring control into Charlotte's life.

This was a hot little read. Zane comes off as cold and unfeeling but you see him defrost the further you get into the story. Charlotte was a bit too immature for me but Zane definitely makes this story. I enjoy reading an H that starts out all tough and melts for his heroine.

Right from the start, I imagined that this book would be one of those cliché reading about the President's nonconformist daughter with escapes and sobbing, but what was not my great surprise to realize that the authors wanted to give more dynamics to the plot bringing elements of suspense and eroticism.
Charlotte feels increasingly lonely after her father became President of the United States and her mother decided to control her life even more by leaving the girl unconformed. Along with best friend Katherine, Charlotte ventures into dangerous places by increasing the work of Zane, her bodyguard.
Zane is a serious and dedicated professional, Charlotte ends up leaving the guy crazy with her attitudes and little by little the sexual tension explodes between them two. They both know the consequences of this forbidden love but they can not get away from each other.
Narrated in first person by each protagonist, little by little I was realizing how each of them was maturing and realizing what really wanted for life. The final chapters left me very distressed to know how the closing of the plot would be and when the big moment arrived I wanted more and more. The couple is perfect .

This is the second book in this series and I just don’t think they are for me. I’m going to give it a pretty good rating because I liked the story line as it went and I also liked the characters but the thing that turned me off is the hotness of the story. I pretty much had the same problem in the first book and thought I would give this one a try.

If you are in to high romance, low plot then this is right up your alley. The characters are compatible and have chemistry as messed up as Charlotte’s situation is as being the first daughter and she can be a little annoying at times, Zane is what she needs. This book contains BDSM so that may cause triggers for some people.

Charlotte is the often neglected First Daughter, her parents are more focused on their political strength than her happiness. Zane is sworn to protect her at all costs. Lines are crossed and boy is it smoking hot when that happens. But careers in jeopardy and threats to Charlotte wreck havoc on finding a way to stay together. Can they make the tough choices and survive the wreath of POTUS? The series continues to provide fast, steamy stories.

Nothing like the thrill of the forbidden. Zane knows he shouldn't even be having these thoughts of Charlotte but something about her recent behavior tells him he's just what she needs. The book has suspense, steam and a lot of sexual energy. I loved the book, probably one of my favorites in the series thus far. Awesome job ladies.

The bodyguard whom is Zane is just a delicious character. His want of Charlotte is significant and he will stop at nothing to get her. Charlotte; the President's daughter; is naughty & risky. But her love of Zane keeps her going to the very end.
I loved this book, It was sexual, hot, steamy, had suspense, drama and basically was a must read.I will definatel;y be buying this for Christmas presents.

As the president’s daughter, Charlotte feels isolated and ignored. She’s done all she was supposed to do to help get her father into office. After being the good girl for so long she is now in the process of living wild. Zane, her bodyguard, has tried to prevent her from doing too much damage but when one party night and a bad decision opens the door to more, he steps in.

While I so did not like the way this book started, I did enjoy it. Zane is a dominant and he recognizes that Charlotte needs someone to give her boundaries and take her in hand. What follows is a pathway that led these two characters into a secretive affair filled with some of the steamiest scenes I’ve read as well as drama, angst, and finally a hea.

Safety issues and Possible Trigger

Received this amazing mouth watering book from Netgalley in return of my honest review. Did you see where I said 'Mouth Watering Book'? This was my first book from Mia Michelle and I can't wait to dive into more of her books. Meredith and WaterHouse Press have made amazing series and First Daughter is one of my favs from the series.
Being the first daughter is always what you think it should be fame, parties, and getting what you want. Charlotte is the first daughter looking for love and freedom from the cameras, country, and parents but with a bodyguard like Zane how can she escape.....or why would she? Zane is domaint in his job of protecting Charlotte but also in his private life.
Every page makes you want to be in the moment of these two characters. begging for the release, the love, and the heat. But with every good book there is a villain, can Zane protect Charlotte from it? And how will the passion and love they found last? You MUST READ THIS SERIES!!!! Can't wait for more misadventures.

this book started out with the main character feeling alone and disconnected.. It drew me right into the story because i wanted to understand why. Charlotte is a young college student who happens to be the President's daughter. She longs for attention, love and support. Her parents push her to be an asset for political gain which leads to rebellion.
Zach, a sexual dominant, is assigned to her protective detail. He really sees Charlotte and struggles with their attraction. The sparks really fly between these 2 characters. When she enters a BDSM club and he sees her the sparks turn to flames.
The President and First Lady were both self involved . It was difficult to relate to these characters. Nate, a senator's son, adds another layer to the story. He is obnoxious and vengeful towards Charlotte.
Meredith and Mia did a good job creating interesting characters. Yes, the sex was steamy throughout the book.
. They kept the story intersting from the beginning to end.

This is one STEAMY read. I don't usually go for books with dom/sub scenes but this one worked, especially since it was completely forbidden. After all, who would ever think the daughter of the POTUS would be so naughty. It added an element that gave the whole story a sense of being off limits.

I gave this one four stars. It's my first Meredith Wild book, and it definitely lived up to the author's name.

This is Charlotte Daley and Zane Parker's story. Charlotte is the daughter of the POTUS and she is fed up with the life she now has to lead. Zane is the man tasked with protecting her. A task made difficult since Charlotte has been partying out of control and Zane has been forced to step in.

To further complicate the situation both of them are attracted to each other, in fact the chemistry between the two of them is scorchingly hot.

When Zane stumbled across Charlotte at his BDSM club, he is shocked and furious; he knows she has a submissive personality when it comes to him, but to find her at his club?

When they give into temptation and embark on a D/s relationship, Zane's job will be put on the line if anyone finds out.

When danger rears it's ugly head, Zane will do whatever it takes to protect Charlotte, no matter the cost.

Misadventures of the First Daughter has it all; hot, sexy, raunchy, kinky, forbidden love, drama, passion, suspense, danger and was a great addition to the series.

I was riveted from start to finish and dreaded the final word; I didn’t want it to end. Congratulation Ms. Wild you have another winner on your hands.

Interesting story about the Presidents stubborn, young daughter, Charlotte, and one if the secret service agents that helps protect her, Zane. The two have secretly lusted over each other until one night after Charlotte's safety was compromised, things changed between the two if them in a hot, steamy way. Zane is every woman's dream guy, hot, sexy, great body, and is a dominate, but he has a wall up around his heart. Other than a couple of things from his past, wasn't too clear why he was that way, but he sure made things interesting in this story. Charlotte was a bit annoying with her immaturity, but given her inability to have the life she wants, some of its understandable. Some predicable outcomes, but over all a pretty good read.

They realize that they have chemistry between them & when Zane makes Charlotte an offer, can she refuse it? Love the sex & thrills that follow. I voluntarily reviewed a copy for Netgalley.

Charlotte is the First Daughter, and hates every moment of it. Her life is dictated by her mother, the First Lady. Every move she makes is scrutinized. When Charlotte finds herself in a compromising position with Nate, Zane comes to her rescue, and soon, the first daughter and her bodyguard find themselves drawn together in a relationship . This book has everything: a fantastic plot, super sexy scenes, and characters with amazing chemistry.A great story .

FINAL DECISION: I liked the story between Charlotte and Zane, but really did not like the surrounding storyline. Charlotte's parents are abusive and I don't like how she is when she is around them. That annoyance was too much for me to overcome so I liked the book but didn't love it.

THE STORY: Charlotte Daley is the wild daughter of the newly elected President. Her parents either ignore her completely or treat her as a doll that they can manipulate as they will. Charlotte is determined to express her freedom in any way that she can. Zane Parker's job is protecting Charlotte, but when things heat up between them, he makes a deal with Charlotte. He will dominate her completely if she behaves while she is in Washington.

OPINION: Charlotte is a woman who is acting like a spoiled child. Her parents are complete jerks, but I really never believed that Charlotte had to kowtow to their demands. That made me think less of her. Much of the drama of the story is about Charlotte's parents manipulating her life. Because the resolution seemed obvious to me for the entire story, I just didn't get why we had to accept all the drama.

Zane and Charlotte are hot together and I liked how he controls her wayward tendencies. I just wish there was more about them and less of the drama with Charlotte's parents. There just wasn't enough to overcome my dislike for the parents and the plot. I liked the characters and the story was good, but just not great.

WORTH MENTIONING: There was a secondary romance that I wish had been more developed.

CONNECTED BOOKS: MISADVENTURES OF THE FIRST DAUGHTER is the fifth book in the Misadventures series. This series is composed of complete standalone stories so each can be read on its own.

STAR RATING: I give this book 3 stars.
