So this book, as the blurb already has told you is that Zane the smoldering hot Secret Service agent assigned to protect Charlotte, or Charley as she's fondly referred to, the Presidents daughter. Her parents don't have time for her, she's in school in NYC and now at home in DC for a break. Good old Charley is a handful for her two agents, especially Zane who isn't much older than her and they have some sparking good chemistry between the two of them. Zane also has some of what he calls dark proclivities. Yeah well, since it's girls night out for trouble, she and her bestie sneak out the back door of the house and go to a club that her best friend Kat has been too. It's a private sex club. Kat is her brilliance has them wearing red dresses which Charley doesn't know but everyone else does that the dress color signifies they are subs looking for Dom's. Zane happens to be there that night and when he sees Charley he just about loses it. He knows the owner and asks him to keep an eye on Kat while he deals with Charley. Zane wants to paddle Charley's backside for that one. He's furious. But this does nothing to detract from the attraction between these two.
There's a lot that goes on in the book, Charley gets herself in a bad position at a party and almost gets assaulted by a lack hat who's father is Attorney General so he thinks he's untouchable. When he starts to threaten Charley, Zane becomes more protective.
When the dung hits the fan it's Zane who figures out what happens and it also changes their relationship, along with his job status. Charley's parents are cold as ice, Dad isn't bad, her mother is a royal botch on wheels who needs a high colonic. Charley is sent back to school in NYC and the two are forbidden to ever see each other again. One of the ramifications of a problem caused by someone else.
The book doesn't end there but my review does. read the book and find out what happens when Charley pursues her dream of being an artist.
I loved these two characters, the steam level was off the chart in this book. The things that Charley did, she just drove Zane to distraction. It was great. These two didn't need a match to start a fire, they were their own incendiary devices.

A short story and not very believable but it does have some redeeming qualities. The writing style is a little disjointed, but as the story develops it smooths out.

Meredith Wild and Mia Michelle have written a funny, sexy, love story that I loved! This book has everything you could want!

The POTUS has a daughter named Charlotte, his only child, that is so tired of being a good girl-smile on demand, great manners, constant press, no privacy, and no fun at all. On top of that her parents have practically forgotten she exists, the only contact she has is with her security detail! When she does see her parents her mother always picks on her and criticizes her every move.

Then there is Zane! He has secretly loved Charlotte from afar for quite some time, but it afraid to act on it. He is very dominant and handsome, and Charlotte is on a mission to party and have a great time including finding a few amorous moments. This puts Zane on high alert and a party she goes to almost causes her grief of the worst type if Zane had not broken down a door to rescue her from what could be a huge mistake!

One of the secret service men assigned to her is Chester, an older man that loves her and feels fatherly toward her and gives into her even though he should know better! He is a great minor character in this book. He sees what is going on and just wish he could make Charlotte's life better.

Charlotte's best friend is Katherine and between she and Charlotte, some of their antics are crazy and one scene has them at a sex club! Zane s really upset and when he sees her there and takes control. Katherine also finds the owner of the club very fascinating and soon they become a couple!

Even though her parents ignore her and she has had a good time in College in New York getting an art major degree, her father decides she needs to go to a different college and get a law degree! Charlotte is so upset and this decision just brings out the wild child in her! This brings out the dominant in Zane who decides he needs to control Charlotte in the best of ways! Charlotte loves this! Unfortunately there are other forces plotting against Charlotte and she is about to be put in a situation that can end her life!

Read on about the antics that Charlotte gets into, the danger she put herself in, heartbreak, and most of all an ending you will love! The plot is great and twists and turns so I kept thinking what next?, and the characters are great. The dialog is wonderful and I hope to see more books co authored by Meredith Wild and Mia Michelle!

I gave this book 10**********stars but can only mark it as 5*****, but you do not want to miss out on this!

This book had me glued to my seat, excited fir what was coming next. A fantastic read.

Charlotte is the President's daughter and she's tired of being good. Her parents ignore her and she is sick of being watched by the Secret Service.. Zane is one of Charlotte's Secret Service guys who tries to keep her out of trouble but it isn't easy. If Charlotte has to be followed by anyone she'd pick Zane because he's gorgeous and ripped so when their relationship turns physical it's not a surprise. Zane is a Dom and his relationship with Charlotte takes a "Fifty Shades of Grey" turn until he realizes how much she means to him.

I loved this book. Zane was the security guard for the first daughter Charlotte. Charlotte had done everything her parents wanted her to do to help her father get elected President and now they just ignored her. Her mother treated her horribly. Because of this, she was acting out. She was 20 and had had enough of the restrictions. She had the hots for Zane, but he knew he couldn't act on them. Then a senator's son tried to rape her, Zane saved her and it went from there. Zane was into a bit of kink and Charlotte didn't mind. There was some suspense at the end of the story that had me reading faster - was Zane going to be in time to save her? Again, I loved this book and it will be on my reread shelf. This is a delicious story filled with passion, an intriguing plot, unfulfilled desire and forbidden love. Charlotte is the only child of the President of the United States and she is tired of pleasing her parents and pretending to be happy. On the outside Charlotte's life looks perfect but her parents are inconsiderate and unloving and control her every move. All Charlotte’s parents are concerned about is getting elected and what people think. Charlotte is tired of pleasing everyone but herself and she is ready to have some fun but Zane, her sexy secret service agent, keeps getting in the way.

Charlotte is driving Zane crazy. He has his hands full with this party girl who is ready for trouble. One of Zane’s biggest problems is his is attraction to Charlotte. Zane wants Charlotte, but knows he can't have her and he is finding it harder and harder to resist her. Zane is protective and caring and he will keep Charlotte safe no matter what. She has him twisted into knots and nothing is important but her.

I enjoyed this passionate and emotional story. Zane and Charlotte care about each other but her parents will never allow them to be together. I liked both Zane and Charlotte and found it easy to relate to them and I wanted them to find a way to be together. Zane is macho, protective and is always trying to do the right thing. Can Zane and Charlotte find a way to be together?

Theirs is a forbidden romance- which makes it all the more exciting!

I really feel for Charlotte. Her whole life is planned for her, her parents only care about how things look politically, and things get worse as time goes on! Her bodyguards are great though. First there's Chester, who loves her like family. Then there's Zane, who sees her in a much dirtier way. Oh yeah. Things get hot and steamy and there's some big time sneakin around. Then a big bad surprising and shocking scene, then everything falls apart. What a mess! Oh and on a side note, I'd love to read more about her friend and the guy from the club.

I loved this book from the very first chapter!!! Charlotte is the first daughter who isn’t exactly the apple of her parents eye. Zane is the secret service man assigned to protect her. But they can’t deny the fireworks and what happens next is a roller coaster of emotions for both of them.

This book had me glued to my seat, turning the page, excited for what was next. I can’t say enough great things about Charlotte and Zane.

Another fantastic read in the Misadventures series!!!

I received an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review. I loved this addition to the Misadventure Series and couldn’t put it down. I was new to Meredith Wild when this series came out and she quickly became one of my favorites! Although Charlotte has issues (who wouldn’t in her position), Zane was an awesome, hot dominate male and their sex scenes were hot! You can’t help but cheer them on and wish you could get more of them! Awesome read!

This book is hot and I mean insanely hot. I loved every single word. I will state this right now that this book is my absolute favourite of all the Misadventures to date. That is a big feat since I have liked a lot of the series to date.

Charlotte is the First Daughter and I must say I do love political romances. They give us an insight into a world we don’t usually get insights into really. Her parents, get some logic please parents because you severely lack in that. I mean completely lacking just for clarification.

Zane. Can I get my own Zane? If so sign me the hell up right now please! He’s hot. Sexy and completely mine. I get dibs. I love him. I want him. This book was insane and I did end up reading it again, because I could.

There are twists, turns and moment where you go ‘what the hell happened?’ but you’ll love it. Mark my words. You will love it. I only really got annoyed because I wanted more.

I was immediately drawn into this story. The hook really gets your attention while the writing keeps you addicted until the very end. The amount of angst and romance will take you on an exciting journey. The characters were so night and day but they fit together perfectly. I loved how these two authors came together and wrote this super hot, super sexy read. There is nothing better than the forbidden fruit and these two authors showed how good the other side really is. The writing is flawless I don't know how these ladies do it. I loved the plot of the book and look forward to reading more of this series.

This book like the previous books in the series are fast paced, quick but very steamy reads. Each book in the series is unique and stands on it's own. I love the fact that they are written by different authors.

I am absolutely loving the Misadventures series but this one is my favourite by far! I completely devoured this book from start to finish, the chemistry between Charlotte and Zane was off the charts explosive and the story was addicting with a hint of suspense.

I need more Misadventures!

Holy Hotness Batman! I loved the chemistry between Charlotte and Zane. This one has a few taboo, forbidden aspects to it-he's the bodyguard, she's the POTUS' daughter he is supposed to keep safe-not sleep with! The BDSM club scene-hells yeah!

I haven't read any of the other Misadventure stories, but after this one -I am going to check them out!

This is Zane and Charlotte’s story. Charlotte is the First Daughter and it's not all that it’s cracked up to be. Whatever we might imagine about her life from afar, she’s not living it close up. She’s unloved and abandoned and making up for that by making poor choices. That’s where we start.

Zane works in the Secret Service and is assigned to protect her. He’d be able to do a better job if she was more disciplined. He has some seriously interesting ideas about discipline that he soon gets to try out on Charlotte when they accidentally meet while he’s off-duty.

This book is hot from start to finish. We plunge right into the action within a few pages. It continues with action scenes including some hot sexual ones, all the way through. We do also get some character development, although I think we get more with Zane than Charlotte. I still had a question about Zane though, which is that he seems to move away from his preferred lifestyle as he falls in love with Charlotte and I wasn’t quite sure why.

As jumping in as the book starts, it also ends similarly I would say. I found the ending abrupt in all honesty. I’d been reading another author’s description that she likes to leave her characters with some work to do outside of the book so that the readers don’t know everything. That’s definitely also true of what these authors did here… but to my taste, it was a little too much. I would have liked maybe a couple more pages in which we know a bit more about how they handle the situation. It was abrupt enough that I wondered whether my ARC (which was oddly formatted) had lost a couple of pages.

Overall a great, and relatively short, read.
