What a wonderful and endearing story. The illustrations are fun and playful. They make you want to be there. The interactive buttons to play to hear the sounds of the instrument will be a big hit with all youngsters. A book you can use over and over again or use as a launch pad to introduce children to instrumental music, or play games to see if they can figure out what sounds they hear in children's music. Anything to inspire children to explore music and creativity is a big plus for me.

I loved the idea of this book! I only had the pleasure of reading this as an ebook so I didn't get to hear the sounds but from the layout, images and concept I can tell that the physical book would be great and a book that younger children would love, especially those with an interest in music, or for parents looking to introduce them to new sounds! I would definitely buy this for my daughter when she is a bit older - music classes for babies are a big thing at the moment so this is definitely a must buy!.

Although this is a digital copy of a book that produces sound, I enjoyed the illustrations and that this book teaches children of different instruments. I look forward to its release and hearing the sounds that accompany the story. The inattentiveness that this book provided to a learning child is a tremendous idea.

This is one of those books were reviewing a digital galley does not work. This is a sound book. As you read about various musical instruments you are supposed to press an icon to hear that instruments sound. In the galley there are no sounds. And unfortunately without the sound, this story really has no feet to stand on.

I had the pleasure of reading this through an Ebook source so I did not get to hear each sound, however I can tell this would be a book young children would love! With all the sounds and buttons to push they will love the interaction. I would definitely buy this for my grandson when he is a bit older.

A great way to teach young people about the different sounds of the orchestra. Given that this is an e-copy, I've not had the full experience of the 16 push sounds featured in this book, but from the text and illustrations alone I can see that a lot of instruments have been covered! The musicians are all animals, which is a nice fun touch. The illustrations are all double-page spreads with an explosion of colour, and the areas of text have been lightened in colour so that the text is easier to read - this always helps!
