"Morning by Morning" is Charles Spurgeon's bestselling classic daily devotional, from the heart of one of history's most beloved preachers. Charles Haddon Spurgeon is known as the prince of preachers. This inspiring devotional has encouraged, motivated, challenged, and brought thought-provoking insight to the whole world for well over 150 years. It teaches us to travail in prayer constantly, trusting God to bring us through trials victoriously. We see a wrestling Jacob, a Daniel who prayed three times a day in the privacy of his home, and a David who called upon his God with all his heart. We see Elijah on the mountaintop, and Paul and Silas praising God in the prison. We have myriads of God's commands and priceless promises to teach us of the sacred importance and utmost necessity of prayer. A prayerless person is utterly powerless. Prayer is the triumphant shout of the courageous believer and the last thought of the dying saint. It is the comfort, strength and honor of a Christian. A child of God seek the Father's face, and lives in His love, to be a blessing to others, growing in grace, favor and in the knowledge of God. May this awe-inspiring devotional teach us to behold the beauty of the Lord all the days of our lives.

I love this classic devotional by Charles Spurgeon. I appreciated that they left in the original text and left the verses in the King James version. The KJV is my preferred version and it's difficult to find devotionals that use it. Charles Spurgeon used the KJV in his original works and I appreciated that they didn't change this in order to "modernize" it, making it more authentic and true to itself. The devotional content itself is deep, yet accessible to any Christian. I love these insights and the meat this book contains compared to much of the fluff that is produced and called a "devotional" these days. I recommend this book to every Christian who truly wants to dig into the Word.
My only complaint is that I received the Kindle version of this book, and the formatting is horrible. It has no date headers, chapter or day divisions, and lots of odd gaps and spacing in the text and even in the words themselves. It makes it difficult to follow and find anything within the book, but that is a formatting issue, not a content issue.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for providing me a copy of this book for the purpose of writing an honest and unbiased review. All opinions are my own.

Morning by Morning, what an absolutely positively engaging devotional. It is abundant in information, scripture. They start off with scripture then they go into an explanation or let's say a small sermon for us. It is wonderful and informative. I truly enjoyed it and my one-on-one time with the LORD.
