I jumped right to Helena Hunting's Getting Down because I couldn't wait to read about Bancroft, Ruby, Amie and Armstrong! Hunting does not disappoint with this hilarious, sexy and fun Halloween rom-com novella. There are the typical Ruby shenanigans but what I really loved was getting Amie's POV which sets up readers for her upcoming release, Hooking Up. There is so much to love about these characters and Hunting infuses her trademark raunchy comedy throughout, making this an absolute pleasure to read. I laughed and snickered at practically every scene in the story. I can't wait to see where Amie's story leads!

I loved being able to go back and read abut the couples that I fell in love with a long time ago. it's always nice to catch up.

I just love this anthology. It has some amazing authors.
Fallen Crest Nightmare by Tijan ~ I've never read a book by Tijan before. She had me on the edge of my chair. It had lots of twists and turns. I can't wait to read more by this author.
So Much More by J. Daniels
This was a funny and sexy story. It involves multiple couples. J. Daniels also a new to me author. I look forward to reading more of.
Getting Down
Helena Hunting
Helena Hunting is such an amazing writer. Her characters are funny and quirky. This is such
a phenomenally funny story.
Unsafe Haven by Bella Jewel
This is a great classic “scary” story. It had mystery, and bumping in the night
The Pumpkin Was Stuffed by Tara Sivec
This is such a funny story. The characters were crazy and just plain fun. Tara Sivec is such a master storyteller.
****I voluntarily reviewed and gave my honest opinion of this Advanced Reviewer's Copy of this book from Net Galley***

This review is a general review for all the novellas included in this anthology.
What a fantastic collection of scary, sexy, fun and flirty halloween stories.
It was great to catch up with some old favourites, have some become new favourites, and most of all, enjoy some spooktacular short stories.
I especially loved going back to worship at the Church of Bane in Helena Hunting's short, which had the added bonus of really making me excited for Hooking Up to hit my kindle.
I don't often read anthologies, however I really did adore this one.
I can't wait to see what all these authors bring us in future.

I would like to thank Netgalley and Swerve for providing me this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
HMMM… special Halloween stories from Tijan and Helena Hunting….uh YES!!! Getting introduced to some new authors like, J. Daniels, Bella Jewel, and Tara Sivec…also, uh YES!!!
This is a book compiled of 5 different novellas by 5 different authors based on series that they have written. I loved it! When you love a series and the characters in them it’s always great to have snippets into their lives, especially at holidays. These were fun to read and I found myself laughing a lot throughout these stories. A couple were also a little thrilling and exciting as any good Halloween story should be.
Awesome bonus scenes! No cliffhangers as with other novellas. If you don’t know a few of the authors as I didn’t it gives you a great sense of their writing and I have to say that I am now a new fan of J. Daniels, Bella Jewel and Tara Sivec and I can’t wait to read more.

ye Candy is a "spooktacular" Halloween Anthology that is written by some of the BEST romance authors in the business. Within this one, readers will be able to catch up with some of their favorite characters from their favorite series during Halloween! What a fun idea!
- Tijan brings back her characters from the Fallen Crest series for a night of fun
- J. Daniels’ brings back her amazing couples from the Alabama Summer series as they get ready for Halloween. These characters go through some emotional stuff, but the sex they have? Smokin!
- Helena Hunting brings back our favorite characters from the Shacking Up as plan a Halloween Gala.
- Bella Jewel writes a spooky story for Halloween Night
- And Tara Sivec (oh, my favorite) brings back the Holiday family during Halloween as they decorate for the holiday and Scheva's upcoming wedding!
Many of the characters from all these stories are dealing with PREGNANCY- so I found this to be quite cool, and all the stories overall were pretty freakin GREAT. However, the only downside is that in order to fully understand each of the stories it would be much better had you read their series prior to this one. That way, you would have a better understanding as to what is going on.
Don't worry though. If you have been looking forward to this Halloween Anthology and HAVEN'T read all the other series then you CAN still enjoy this one. I have only read Tara Sivec's series and still really liked this book.

Great selection of Halloween stories. Five different authors with five different stories, some filled with frights and typical Halloween scares and some filled with sex and lust and romance. There are the dreaded clowns and the typical bachelor auctions, costumes, haunted houses and pumpkins. Overall a wonderful Halloween book filled with great characters and interesting stories. If you love Halloween this is a must read.

This anthology contains 5 sexy hot stories by 5 talented authors! When I looked up the authors, I did realise that most were part of their individual series, but I can honestly say, I didn’t feel like something was missing, just because I hadn’t read the other books.
I hadn’t previously read any of these authors, but I enjoyed their writing and will definitely be looking for more of their books.

I usually do not go for Anthologies. I figured I would give this one a try seeing as it included all of my favorite authors. I really enjoyed every story. It was different. I enjoyed that they were short stories that summed up quickly and efficiently without feeling like I didn't get enough. Helena's really made me anxious now for Hooking Up so I can see where Amie's story goes. Tara as always is hilarious. Oh to live in her mind for a few hours! Thanks for the opportunity.

Let me start and say I only read J. Daniels story because well it was the bama boys. Who I love so much! I haven't read any of the other stories so I didn't want to ruin anything. First off we get a glimpse at Halloween for the Bama boys and their families. Loved each chapter. And can I also say J your killing me lady!! I am beyond ready for a story from Nolan. And that spoiler chapter made me want it even more. Please tell me it'll happen soon.
We get an emotional side of bad ass hardcore Tessa. My heart hurt and I cried my eyes out. I can't even imagine. If your a fan of the Alabama Series by J. Daniels then don't wait grab this book as soon as it becomes available!!

Eye Candy is a halloween compilation from some of my favorite authors!! Get a peek at halloween with the Fallen Crest crew, the Bama boys, the crew from Shacking Up, and the Holiday family! Plus, a spooky take on halloween from Bella Jewel, whose romantic suspense books I have been gobbling up like candy!
Now, in all honestly, I only read 2 stories: The Fallen Crest Halloween and the Bella Jewel story. I am WAY behind on my Bama boys, I didn't care for Shacking up, and I have read any of the Tara Sivec series. I might read these in the future if I get caught up or start those series, but for now, I went with Tijan and Bella Jewel for the win!
So, I loved the Fallen Crest story. It takes place AFTER Fallen Crest Forever so there are spoilers if you aren't caught up on the series! Heather has come to visit Sam and Logan (and Taylor), who are in their senior year of college, and Mason is coming home for the weekend. Logan decides to have a major-rager halloween party with a haunted house to boot. And let me tell you, shit gets SCARY!!! I read this when my husband was out of town. Needless to say, every light in my house stayed on.
Then, I seriously had to question my sanity when I started the Bella Jewel story, because, hello?? Her recent romantic suspense books are freaky as fuck! Seriously, what was I thinking!? This little novella fits in perfectly with her latest books which means it scared the crap out of me. This is the one book in this anthology I will say you can read as a stand alone because it isn't related in any way to other stories.
Bottom line? If you want to be creeped out, these stories deliver!! I loved getting a dose of my favorite couple (Sam and Mason) with a scary story. And I always love the creepiness that Jewel brings to her stories!

An interesting group of stories set in these authors' story worlds. Admittedly I didn't know any of them so may need to follow up on some. Some were downright creepy and others not what I thought. Just a scare and you think someone will die but it's all Halloween.
The stories were entertaining and some I liked more than others.
TIJAN - OMG nightmare or strange reality? You decide. This one ended with my heart pounding.
If you love Halloween or these authors worlds then this book is for you.

Eye Candy (Anthology)
Tijan, J.Daniels, Helena Hunting, Bella Jewel, Tara Sivec
This was an awesome anthology, I didn’t think I would LOVE it as much as I did. I don’t ever do anthologies, hardly ever these days but when I saw this one to pre-order I was like #takemymoney
But somehow, I was lucky enough to be given an advanced copy.
I couldn’t believe how fast this book read, seeming there was 5 authors story.
First up was Tijan her story was crazy good.
Fallen Crest Nightmare
5 Stars
Sam and the gang are back, and I was legit hanging on to every single word, my heart was in my throat at one stage, I couldn’t love it any more. #Mason, I just loved every single word written. As always Tijan’s writing is flawless. The story its self was so creepy, I couldn’t look away.
J. Daniels, was next, and to be honest I knew who this author is, but I haven’t been able to read her work yet, due to just being busy and distracted with everything else.
So Much More
4 Stars
Now this series is set in her Alabama series, I haven’t read these books before. But just reading this short story, I was really impressed. It made me want to go and check out the series. I really enjoyed each couple they we meet, and holy sex balls the sex that J. Daniels can write knocked my socks off. I really enjoyed her way of writing and the story flowed effortlessly.
Helena Hunting, was the 3rd story in the anthology. Now before I continue I was kind of surprised that this story wasn’t about the Pucked series characters, and it is about the Shacked-up characters, I haven’t read this book, and to be honest I’m not sure if I want to.
Getting Down
2 Stars
Wow, I wasn’t impressed with this one. Out of all the stories this one was not my favourite. I just didn’t like the characters, or just one or two of the characters. Maybe if she just made the story about the happier couple I would have liked it better, I see why she wrote about one of the girl Amie being that her story is due to come out soon. I really would have preferred her pucked up characters, they are everything. I think that the writing for this one was funny. And was well written I just didn’t like it very much.
Next was the 4th and second last story by Bella Jewel, and this one so good. Romantic suspense at its best, I freaking love everything well mostly everything that Bella writes. If you have read The Watcher, you know where this is set. I can’t gush enough about that book, it was so good.
Unsafe Haven
4.5 Stars
I really enjoyed this one, it was a little sweet, a little creepy and a little swoony (!!!) I loved the way this was written, for such a short story it made feel. I was hooked from the first page. I loved all the characters, this one was perfect! Oliver and Jade were so sweet!
And finally, the last story in the anthology was by Tara Sivec it was so funny, I loved that it was in the book, I just loved this one so much. Her writing is perfect, her characters are hilarious.
The Pumpkin Was Stuffed
4 Stars
OH. My. Words (!!!)
This was the funniest one out of the lot, I couldn’t put it down. I loved how funny and light it was. As always Tara nailed it. I loved this one, it was the characters from her Holiday series. I can’t with how funny this story is.
Overall the anthology will get 4 stars from me, there were some fantastic laughs and stories that everyone will enjoy. I found a new to me author, I caught up with some of my fav characters and I got to read some stories from some of my favourite authors.
Arc was received for an honest review
PNR Book Lover Reviews

What an AMAZING collection! Love all the authors and was so very excited to see them in a collaboration! Love Hallowe'en and this book was awesome!

A fantastic collection of Halloween inspired stories that will leave you laughing and wanting even more from some of your favorite characters!
Fallen Crest Nightmare by Tijan
The Fallen Crest series has been on my to-read list forever and I really need to dive into it after reading this short story! This story will grab your attention from the very beginning and keep you there until the end, when you will inventively question what the hell happened.
So Much More by J. Daniels
Who doesn't love the Alabama boys!? I loved every bit of this sweet and hilarious short story and if it's even possible, I fell even more in love with these men.
Getting Down by Helena Hunting
This short story has left me on pins and needles awaiting the release of Hooking Up. I'm dying to see what happens between two of the characters. Bane and Ruby are fantastic and hilarious as always. Definitely read this after reading Shacking Up!
Unsafe Haven by Bella Jewel
This was my least favorite short story in the collection. Bella Jewel is a new author for me and maybe I would have enjoyed it more had I been more familiar with these characters. This story is also very short compared to the others.
The Pumpkin Was Stuffed by Tara Sivec
Oh my. Why have I not read anything by Tara Sivec before? This was absolutely hilarious. From the beginning to the end, I was laughing. I loved all the characters and the writing was fantastic. There will definitely be more Tara Sivec in my future.

5 Stories by 5 Different authors! Most of these authors are new to me and I have to say I really enjoyed their writing. Although these are characters from series I didn’t feel I missed out on anything nor that I couldn’t enjoy the stories without knowing the background. I look forward to exploring more by these authors

I really enjoyed Eye Candy anthology, Each novella was well written, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed Eye Candy, I haven't had the pleasure of reading many of these authors, and I will now be looking to catch up on what I've missed.

These are just small little novellas of some of our favorite couples and families based around halloween 🎃

*The Pumpkin was Stuffed* by Tara Sivec
Hilarious!! I want to be apart of this family, these are the most insane bunch of characters I've ever read and I love them. Each holiday story gets better and better. Halloween might just be my favorite.
Tijan- I love you and hate you for that story. That's all I'm gonna say about that .

Overall, this was an excellent read. Even if you’re only interested in a couple of these stories, I suggest getting it and giving all the stories a chance.
Fallen Crest Nightmare – Tijan
This was the one author in this anthology I hadn’t read before, so I saved this story for last. There were so many characters being introduced, all being interconnected and with what seemed like a big back story, I was a little confused. I thought about not finishing it, but since I was reading an ARC to review, and I figured I should finish the story, and I’m so glad I did. This one turned into a great horror story. If you’re not familiar with the Fallen Crest High series, I suggest you read this story anyway. You won’t be disappointed!
So Much More – J. Daniels
I’ve read 4 of the 5 books in the Alabama Summer series, but it’s not necessary to have read any of them prior to reading this story. It’s one continuous story, with each chapter told from a different POV of one of the men in this series. If you’ve read the books in the series, this story is like one really big epilogue, catching you up on all your favorite characters, but even if you’re not familiar with this series, it’s still quite an enjoyable and fun read.
Getting Down – Helena Hunting
This story takes place between Shacking Up and Hooking Up (to be released November 7th). It’s told in alternating POV between Ruby and Amalie. It isn’t necessary to have read Shacking Up before reading this story. While we do get more of Ruby and Bane, to me, this story is really more about Amelie and Armstrong’s relationship, or lack thereof, and what to expect in the upcoming book Hooking Up. It’s full of fun times, and now that I have an idea of who she’ll end up with, I’m even more excited to read her story.
Unsafe Haven – Bella Jewel
I haven’t read The Watcher, but based on its synopsis, some of the characters from that book are included in this story – although they aren’t the main focus. It certainly wasn’t necessary to read that book first. This story included a little romance and a little suspense.
The Pumpkin Was Stuffed – Tara Sivec
I’ve read books by Tara Sivec, although I haven’t read anything in the Holiday series. Even so, it was very easy to follow the story, and as to be expected with this author, the story was very funny. I’ll have to go back and read the Holiday series now!
