Grace had worked more hours than she cared to admit. Grace enjoyed being the Event and Marketing manager at one of the top hotels in Jackson Hole Wyoming. Mya had been Grace’s best friend since kindergarten and was now more a sister than anything. Their fathers had even been partners on the police department until Grace’s dad became Chief Of Police. Mya was a HS teacher but she was also an amazing artist. Myr’a mentioned how Grace’s boss Jared was in love with Grace but Grace said they worked together for a long time and Jared had never crossed the line. Mya then mentioned Ian but Grace didn’t have the time to compete for Ian against all the the women who wanted him. Asher job was her life. Also with Ian’s schedule and hers there was no way they could have a solid relationship. Then Jerad the owner’s son and joint manager stopped Grace and told they were having drinks tonight with his dad and he wanted to make sure Grace came as there was mention of a promotion for Grace. Grace’s life was lonely at times but she had but she had been cheated on by the man thought she was going to marry. So Grace’s heart was guarded Grace was going to her car when she saw a shadow then felt pain shot through the back of her head and then she passed out. Ian had a twin brother named Bryce who was also an FBI agent.and were part of the Circle of Justice - a group of assassins who targeted those who escaped the system. They were currently going after a mob leader and those jobs were always more complicated than others as those guys ready to fight. For the past year Bryce had been working undercover no one in the family new but Ianas Bryce was in too deep. Being part of the mob was a whole new world. Ian hadn’t personally hadn’t been stuck on the inside but he did see it through Bryce’s eyes. Bryce had done so much to get the mob’s trust Ian wonders if Bryce will ever be free again. Ian didn't enjoy killing people but it was his job. Then the chief of police called - Colton- called Ian and told him Grace was missing. There had been men missing lately but Grace was the only woman. Some of her blood was on the ground with her purse and phone outside of the drivers door. Two of the men missing were from the area. All the locals missing were the same- no struggle or any indication of foul play other than the blood outside of Grace’s car door. Grace came to when a man let out an ear deafening scream. Grace’s hands were tied behind her back and her legs to her ankles. It smelled like Grace was in a barn. Then Grace called out Hello and said her name and the man said he was Chuck and he said he had to get out of there as they were going to kill him. Chuck added they would let him go then hunt him down just like all the others. Grace felt no one had wanted to kill her and how did she end up here. Then Grace showed up on Ian’s porch and he is determined to keep Grace safe and find the other people missing. Grace and Ian get close while he is trying to protect her. Reed also got involved with protecting Grace and was very protective.
I loved this story, the plot and the pace too. Also loved the suspense and danger in the story. I loved the twist in this story. I didn’t want to put this down. I did chuckle at times but also it made me choke up a bit. I loved how the book grabbed you right in the beginning and wouldn’t let go until the end. This was a great read. I also loved the romance in the story.I loved how a stronger loving relationship grew between Grace and Ian. This kept me guessing on who wanted Grace killed. And why. I loved the characters in this story and the ins and outs and I highly recommend.

Well, I didn't love this one. It started out so good!!!! But as the story moved along I felt like something was missing. I found it odd that Ian was a stranger to people. And everything just seemed too easy. And I want to know the how's and whys.

Looking forward to Reed's story!!

Grace Myers is a hotel manager abducted after work one evening, Ian Chandler is an FBI agent and member of the Circle of Justice a group of agents whom hand out their own type of justice to those criminals that have escaped punishment for their heinous crimes.
Grace and Ian know each other although Grace has no idea what Ian does for a living she thinks he's a web designer that takes him away a lot, she has always been attracted to Ian but thinks of him as a tattooed bad boy so avoids any commitment with him, Ian is also attracted but knows his line of work is not one he can have relationships that would work.
After Grace escapes her abductors she stumbles onto Ian's land, so begins a thrilling story of mystery suspense and romance. Grace and Ian become ever closer as he goes all out to find who abducted Grace and may be responsible for other mysterious disappearances of other people over the past few years.
This is a dangerous journey to travel, but with a good plot line and some surprises and explosive scenes along the way you won't be disappointed with this book.
My thanks to net galley and publisher for opportunity to review this book honestly.

I would like to thank the Author and Netgalley for gifting me this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is the third book in this series and it is read by a stand a lone even though it does visit the characters from book one (that I loved) and I’m not sure about book two because I never had the opportunity to read that one.

What I loved about this book. I loved the “who done it” mystery aspect as well as the criminal suspense in this book. It did keep me on my toes guessing about who wanted Grace kidnapped and killed. I liked the main characters and especially that Grace could hold her own in situations. Ian, << sigh>> Ian. Who doesn’t like a good looking FBI agent? Well, he’s an assassin but it totally works for him. Since he job is for good and not evil. I believe in the book Grace related him to Arrow.

Ok, on to what I didn’t like so much would be the “romance” parts in the book. I don’t know, it wasn’t too much from this author but it just didn’t grasp at me and I found my self just skimming through it.

Overall, awesome storyline! It wasn’t something that I had read before so five stars for originality. I’d give the cheesy love scenes 3 stars.

This is the third in the Circle of Justice series and if you have read any of L.P.'s other books...you might get a little surprise in here. Ian knows how to hunt the dregs of the Earth and makes sure they pay for their crimes, but when it comes to his front porch...things are going to get interesting.

Grace is a strong woman but when her life goes south things are going to get crazy. She will have to survive being hunted and kidnapped and seek help from the man that makes her burn, Ian. They will have to work together along with a bunch of others to bring the bad guys to light and make them pay for what they have been doing.

It's page turning, dangers, feelings between the characters you can actually feel, and secondary characters who make the story fun. Can't wait for Bryce's story.

Ian and grace has this chemistry that pull them together but they never find the right time to pursue things, but when Ian here's of grace's abduction he's a man on a mission he will find her and he will protect her.

When grace gets abducted she has one thing in mind she will get free she won't become the hunted.

When grace happens to find herself in the arms of Ian she hopes everything will be ok.once Ian has grace in his arms he vows he will protect and destroy whoever has hurt her.

I enjoyed this book because it was a little different than what I'm usually in to. It was fast paced and kept your attention. I do wish the story had started with them before the big scandal and then went through that. I felt like I was missing a little of the relationship that way. It definitely keeps you on your toes and keeps you interested.

L. P. Dover did it again, great book. I love her writing style. Great plot, action, and romance. Kept me intrigued from beginning to the end. Aim is a mixture of romance, mystery, murder, and hot steamy scenes. I can't wait to read more of this series, it can be read as a stand alone. I would recommend this book, you will not be disappointed.

I love the premise of this book. The whole Circle of Justice is a different idea, and one that I found very interesting. I also liked the characters of Grace and Ian. However, the whole thing didn't come together very well for me, primarily because I had the nagging sensation throughout that I was missing important backstory. I realize (now) that this is part of a series, and maybe the backstory of these two characters was covered in one of the previous books, but it seems odd for that to be the case since the other books focused on other characters. The snippets of references to the history between these two characters was not enough for me to understand how they got to where they are when this book begins. I don't really even know how to explain it well--I just felt like there were major holes all over the place. Again, though, I found the premise intriguing and would like to give other books in this series a chance to see if maybe the confusion I felt with the character connection in this one was a fluke. I would definitely recommend reading this as part of the series instead of a standalone.

I was given an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest and independent review.
More story suspense than romance, this was different from the other books I have read by the same author. There is still an element of steam to it. I liked the alpha male characters. This was an enjoyable beach read.

This book is not really my cup of tea.Having known nothing about it before it started, I thought it was going to be different than what it was. I am more of a love story person. This was a love story mixed in with an episode of Law and Order SVU... not really my thing.

True story: I opted to review this one solely based on the cover (because dude is hot and I dig his sleeves) and how much I loved Hard Stick. I think that reading the two previous books in the series would've been helpful, but it's not entirely necessary. I loved that the characters had a pre-existing history of Ian pursuing Grace and Grace rejecting him. Once we find out about her relationship history and the fact that women basically throw themselves at Ian, her reticence is understandable. However, there chemistry is already intense and when you combine that with the life threatening investigation they get involved in - the situation was bound to combust. I really enjoyed Aim; it was action packed and suspenseful and I loved Ian and Grace. I can see myself continuing with the series and I'll probably pick up the first two books when I get a chance. I give the book 3 out of 5 wine glasses.

5 Buttercups!

I obviously love romance books, but there is just something exciting about having romance, danger, and suspense wrapped up altogether. AIM hit the target with all those!

Ian Chandler is a hot, sexy and dangerous FBI agent who joins his family in making up the Circle of Justice organization. This big guy is a ball of goo around the sexy Grace Myers and when Grace goes missing Ian is ready for battle.

Grace is a strong and sassy lead with the charm to win over everyone so it's a shock when she comes up missing. Even more so when it's discovered someone wanted her dead. Grace escapes to show up on Ian's doorstep and he will everything necessary to not only protect but exact revenge on her behalf.

This story was very intriguing in trying to figure out the mystery surrounding the missing hikers and how Grace fit in the mix. While hiding out and laying low while her abductor is found, Grace leans heavily on Ian and these two can't hold back the feelings they have for one another.

Ian puts himself in the middle of the danger by trying to covertly work his way in to the gang believed to be behind the vanishing crimes. What is unearthed is deadly game of cat and mouse where anyone could be the target!

When you get so close to the subject and your heart is so involved in the mission how do you stay safe while protecting the one you love?

Aim
By: L.P. Dover

Aim....OMG.....just wow what a absolutely intense book. The first few pages of this book will suck you in and not let go until the end of the book. Which by the way you could easily walk away at the end wanting so much more it was that amazing, luckily for us L.P. Dover fans the third book in the series ( A Circle of Justice novels) that will have a total of four books is starting with a bang easily reads as a standalone but better in order in my opinion💥. This book has some of everything friends to lover, Gorgeous cowboys, intrigue, anger, heartache and justice. We meet Ian and Grace in this book. He's a under cover FBI agent living in a familiar small town and his eyes are set on Grace. She's a dedicated hotel events coordinator and loves her job. Little does she know she's become the hunted. She doesn't even know why. Ian know he had to stop these psychopaths before more people are hurt most important to him Grace. Take the journey to see what gets discovered along the way. It'll take your breath away. This is such an an intense read. The writing is so flawless the author keeps you so emerged in the story all the way to the end. Written in dual POV my personal favorite. I highly recommend this book if I could give more than five stars I would!!!!

Thanks to Netgally for the review opportunity!!!

Not my favorite. I just felt like my suspension of disbelief only went so far, and for me the plot was kinda silly and unbelievable. The characters were interesting and likeable. I liked the romance.

Aim is the third installment in the Circle of Justice series by L.P. Dover. I really enjoyed this novel even though I think I need to go back and read Target again. I believe some things happened in that novel that are vaguely referenced in Aim. I still think you could read this as a standalone, but Target was a great book as well and would give you some more insight into Wade and Brina.

Overall, I really enjoyed this friends-to-lovers novel and all the suspense included in this novel. It was just a great entertaining read and I liked the main characters Ian and Grace.

Brilliant storyline following Ian Chandler, FBI agent and member of the Circle of Justice (a group of vigilantes that hunt the dregs of society who have slipped through the criminal justice system). Ian has a soft spot for Grace Myers (the police chief’s daughter in his hometown). When Grace goes missing, Ian does everything in his power to find her, when she lands on his doorstep it is up to him to protect her, but when you're with someone 24/7, how do you resist the sexual chemistry that radiates between you? The story was addictive, I could not put the book down, I had no idea who had betrayed Grace, each chapter brought in a new suspect. I loved the characters Ian was just the right amount of alpha and tender to make my heart go pitter patter, and Grace was strong in body and mind, Ian’s match in every way. The story was told in dual POV, which meant I didn't have to second guess what each of the characters was thinking, I love dual POV. I did however find that the writing was over descriptive in places, I felt as if the author could have missed parts out as it was obvious in her writing what was taking place and it felt as if she was not giving the reader enough credit for understanding situations. Overall though, a sexy thrilling read. I was provided with an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
