Griffin is a PI who is sent after a supposed killer, who is a cute little blonde. As he is a werewolf, and she is a vampire, the issues are raised immediately. I enjoyed this one, and had trouble putting it down. Just wish there was a bit more details, for example, more with Shelley, more with Felix, more with Carter, etc. The main characters have the focus, but it is good to have more details with the surrounding ones too. Adds a bit more to the story line. Would highly recommend this author and book.

I enjoyed this book. I love this author. I find I start one of her books and cant put it down. This one was no different.

I loved Isabell. She was such a strong character. She and Griffin were perfect together.
I hope we get to see a book on Carter. He redeemed himself at the end. I look forward to the rest of the series.

I voluntarily read an advanced reviewers copy of this book

Griffin and Isabella are a very mix matched pair. Griffin is a werewolf and Isabella is a vampire but like Paula Abdul sings these opposites are very attracted to each other.

The real question is can Griffin convince Isabella to trust him even though he may have been hired to...kill her? Read and find out!

Overall this book was really good. It has tons of passion, action and romance. I loved that Griffin was willing to do anything to protect his mate and couldn't help but enjoy Isabella's moxie and overall innocence. Great job Cynthia Eden, another great book for a great price by a great author!

I love the history between vamps and weres - learning the mythology behind the supernatural beings in PNR books is one of my favorite things - CE does a great job adding an interesting twist to their connection. Great world build and set up for the rest of this series, which I hope we get much more of. 4.5 stars

Well first off, I didn’t realise this was a short novella.
Note to self to look at the description more closely when requesting.

In a lot of ways I am very disappointed this turned out not to be a full story.
There was a lot (A LOT) packed into this short story. It felt very rushed and I honestly just wanted there to be more to this.

Isabella is a vampire and Griffin is a werewolf and they end up mated together. What follows is a very hot love story and a lot of fighting to the death.
The premise of this was really good and interesting and honestly I feel the author could have padded the story out into a full length novel.
When reading it made me realise why I used to love this genre and it reminded me a lot of Kresley Cole’s Immortals After Dark series.

Despite my disappointment that it wasn’t long enough. I did really enjoy this. I loved both of the main characters and I found myself further intrigued by the other werewolf characters. I am hooked now and will definitely be reading the next one.
Very good writing with amazing chemistry sizzling off the pages from the main characters. If you don’t like reading sex scenes then you won’t like this.

ARC received by Netgalley for a honest and non biased review. Thank you

Werewolf Griffin Romeo is looking for a vamp named Isabella who has been hunting in Las Vegas, and its Griffin's job to stop her from hurting anyone else. Tracking is easy for werewolves, but even easier for an alpha wolf. The wolves' instincts are to kill all vamps, except once he gets close to Isabella all of his plans change and after one bite, he's found his mate.

Griffin has found the other half of his soul and he's not about to let anything happen to her. Even though he was hired to find the vamp killing, he discovers its not her, and sets out to discover the one that's not only killing but the one that set them up. What purpose can their enemy have for Isabella and will Griffin be too late to save her?

I really enjoyed this short story, the two characters were willing to do what it took to protect one another. Its always interesting to see different authors take on vamps and werewolves and any potential matings between them. Since their sworn enemies and vamps are supposed to be killed on site, I thought it was interesting how Griffin had to protect her from his pack even though matings are sacred with wolves. Like all of Cynthia Eden's books I highly recommend this story.

I received a copy of the e-book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Griffin's, a werewolf and PI (private investigator), latest job is to find a Vampire, Isabella, that is supposedly draining humans dry in Vegas. Since his tracking abilities are so good it doesn't take him too long to find her...basically in the act.

Werewolves and vampires are natural enemies in this story and werewolf law requires the death of a vampire if they should find one. This rule stems from centuries ago when the were's and vamps actually works together for a long time until something went wrong.

Isabella, on the run from her family of vampires, tries to explain to Griffin that she only takes blood from those who are evil (abusers, rapists, criminals), she does not kill them and leaves them with a compulsion to never harm again.

Griffin isn't sure whether he can believe her but he has another problem, his wolf is telling him that Isabella is his mate! This mating is not possible by both their laws and could be the death of them both. Hence, the name of the book.

Will they mate and survive? What does Felix, the man who hired Griffin, really want from Isabella?

This author is a favorite of mine. I did enjoy this book but I have to say it isn't my favorite of hers. That's ok by me though.

The reason I enjoyed this book so much is that not only do they have to avoid danger from Felix but then they have other issues to deal with, such as dealing with the history of were's and vamps and convincing the other were's that this pairing could work. This only happens when Isabella shows what she is really made of and unconditionally helps the were's in their battle.

I would recommend it to a paranormal reader. It is written well and has a good flow.

4.5 Stars A Werewolf Enforcer, A Vampire with a difference, Forbidden Bite brings us Griffin Romeo and Isabella Abandonato. This one is a short story, but a well written one. I tried to savor it , I really did. I usually don't prefer short stories because they usually lack backstory and lots of plot. This one had loads of details, backstory and lots of heat. It flows smooth and left me wanting more, but satisfied. The characters are developed and continue to do so throughout the story. Wolves and Vamps, my favorite, even if they are Forbidden to Bite.

OMG I absolutely loved this fast paced, sexy, sizzling brand new stand alone paranormal romance from Cynthia Eden. This story was full of dark, edgy passion and Griffin was a great hero who melted my heart with his care and his possessive attitude was a huge turn on! Isabella is beautiful, strong, and has a heart of gold for a born vampire and I just LOVED how she fell for Griffin too. This story will no doubt be another one from Miss Eden that I will be reading again and again. Miss Eden writes some of the BEST paranormal romances EVER!

Forbidden Bite by Cynthia Eden
I received this book from Netgalley for an honest review.
I loves me some vampires and shifters. Throw in the fact the vampire and shifter fall in love=Win Win!! Throw in that their kinds will not be so happy with the pairing=YES!!
The story is a really quick afternoon read. This story is about Giffin who is tasked with finding and stopping a woman from attacking men in Vegas. Griffin stalks the woman when he discovers she is not human but a vampire.
Isabella is stunned to come in to contact with a werewolf. She has been told that they will kill vampires on sight but this one seems different. He is actually helping her!! WHAT!!
The couple have to come to terms with their new mate status, fight an alpha, find the bad guys and also learn to trust one another if they are event going to try and make this relationship work.
I liked the bad guy twist. It made the book pretty interesting. I would love to read book 2 to see Carter and how he deals with mating a vampire since he was sooo against Griffin’s mating.

Griffin is a hunter, a werewolf and a PI. He is contracted to hunt a woman who is killing men. Isabella is a born vampire but she's not killing men, she just feeds from them and then let's them go.
When Griffin finds her he feels an instant connection and she can't use her compulsion on him. He gets shot and she gives him her blood but what she doesn't know is that he is not human. That's when the mating bond starts. Then when she takes his blood it clicks in. But his kind and a vampire are never supposed to mate.
When the man who hired Griffin is after Isabella, he will do anything to keep her safe. But first he has to fight his Alpha to keep them from killing her.
Awesome story. Sex, vampires, werewolves and action.

Isabella was warned as a child to be careful of werewolves, they would gobble you up. Griffin had been warned to not look into her eyes or she’d steal his soul. However, once these two meet and share a lifesaving bite that they had been told was completely taboo, they learned that there was nothing forbidden between the two of them.

This was an excellent shifter vampire novella that kept me enthralled with its mystery laden tale. I absolutely loved Griffin with his over the top protective instincts. Once he’s mated to Isabella there is nothing and no one that will take him from her. He was the perfect alpha hero for me and Ms. Eden checked all of my boxes for what I look for in a main male character. Despite Isabella having had some horrific life experiences, she made changes that showcased her inner strength. Together there is nothing, not even death that will keep them apart.

Awesome read full of plenty of action, secondary characters that I hope might get their own story, and plenty of steam.

I received an advance reader copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for a fair review.

After reading a shifter book that I did not enjoy right before I started Forbidden Bite I was hoping I wasn’t losing my love of some of my favorite paranormal romance tropes, shifters. Thank the book gods because Forbidden Bite completely caught my intention from the very start. Now this is a fairly short read but it does not lack in chemistry, plot development or character development, it nailed all three.

This reminds me of a favorite movie series of mine where a relationship between vampires and werewolves were forbidden. But you can’t help it if the universe decides your mate is your immortal enemy right? Griffin, a werewolf and Isabella a vampire are sworn enemies, the races do not get along but when the mating bond begins you can feel the chemistry between these too burning your skin it is that hot and intense. There is action, a bit of suspense and truths come out about the history of their species and the parts they played in the other’s lives.

This was a really great start to a series that I have a feeling is quickly going to become a favorite of mine and I can’t wait for the next book to release. If you are a paranormal romance fan add Forbidden Bite to your TBR lists I think you will really enjoy it.

Griffin is one blunt man, "he blinked. “You bite me, and we’re going to eff. I want you too badly.” Griffin is like a wild animal at times, "his hand fisted on Carter’s shirt-front. “She’s a vamp, not a werewolf. And she’s mine.” Even if she was a cold-blooded killer, she still belonged to him. “I don’t want the rest of the pack seeing her naked.” If they saw her body, he’d pretty much have to kill them all." I liked this book, I loved Griffin.

Griffin, a PI, accepts a new job, though he seriously has his doubts regarding the validity of some of his client's claims. The client, Felix, fully believes a woman named Isabella is a killer, and can entrap men with just a look. Griffin locates, and follows, Isabella for three nights, not seeing any signs of her murderous rampage. But, when she appears to be in danger, he doesn't hesitate to step in to rescue her...of which he quickly sees she can definitely handle herself.

"Don't look into her eyes. If you do, she'll take your soul." - Felix

Isabella is desperate to attack the man holding a knife to her face. Haha. No. She can only keep up the helpless act for so long. She quickly disarms, not literally, him and prepares to enjoy her reward. However, right as she's about to strike, you've figured out she's a vampire by now, right?, she hears a sexy voice that belongs to an equally sexy man, one that was prepared to save her.

Griffin shakes off her compulsion to forget her, and the way her everything impacts him, and let's her know, with a stake aimed at her heart, how serious he is, right before flashing his own fangs. Her fear surprises him as it seems real. When he stops the man intending to attack her, things quickly become dire for Griffin as he's stabbed with the man's Plan B, and it happens to be a silver knife. Yeah, Griffin is a werewolf, and though he is very quickly dying, he knows he can't accept Isabella's life-saving blood. It's forbidden.

"But his entire focus--even as his beast clawed for his freedom--his entire focus was on the sexy little vampire before him. The woman who'd just sealed both of their fates." - Griffin

Isabella can't believe she just met, and saved, a werewolf. She'd always been told to stay away from them, and now one had bitten her wrist and drank her blood until she'd had to force him to stop. As if that wasn't enough to make her want to leave Vegas forever, she's now being held at gunpoint in her hotel room. But he doesn't want to kill her. He has other plans...for her kind.

Griffin, having recovered and shifted to human again, tracks down Isabella, only to learn she's been injured. When he finds her again, intent on taking her with him, he stops another attack on her. Isabella is his, she just hasn't accepted it yet.

"I was told...it was wrong. Taboo. It's not. We're not. I'll fight anyone who challenges my right to you." - Griffin

Griffin knows their mating is forbidden, but it's done and no one will take her from him, and many will try. Vampires and werewolves alike will revolt against their union. Well, they will try.

But their respective kinds aren't the only obstacles they'll have to fight. It seems fate wasn't the only thing ensuring they would meet.

What happens when a vampire and a werewolf, forbidden to mate, do so anyway? How will their people react? Why is finding Isabella so important to Felix? What are his motives for involving Griffin? Will Griffin and Isabella survive? Is this just the beginning over their very long lives together? Or will their mating end before it ever truly got a chance to start?

One-click now and follow along as two people, their kinds sworn enemies, defy the rules and fall deeply in love. I hope this book is the start of a new series and the next one features Carter, Griffin's packmate and friend.
