Misadventures with a Super Hero - Angel Payne - Book #3 in the Misadventures Series.

I'm not a personal whose reading preference normally runs to the fantasy realm but Angel Payne has changed my opinion.

A thoroughly sexy, escapist story of the Hotel Customer Satisfacton officer and the billionaire bad boy turned super hero.

Though complete fantasy, it was quirky and fun with huge slabs of sinfully sexy.

Reece Richards the Hotel Heir, finds himself on the receiving end of an extraordinary tale of good verses evil at the hands of The Consortium and their evil henchwoman Angelique La Salle. Reece also finds himself in another predicament, falling hard for his hotel customer satisfaction manager, Emmalina Crist.

A lot of fun and quite likeable characters make this a great addition to the Misadventures Series.

This book was flaming hot. Who doesn't love a super hero and one that can literally ignite a flame of desire through your body at the touch of his hand? I love comic books and this lady made the perfect super hero. The story did seem a little fast paced but I was totally fine with that. I love a quick hot read. This book was very entertaining and I loved the chemistry from the characters, they were made for each other. There was just the right amount of humor tossed in to keep it from getting too steamy. Overall I think the book was a great summer read. I look forward to reading more from Angel Payne I feel this book is only a taste of what she has to offer.

I don't usually read sci-fi/fantasy romance but this one...wow! It's sexy, freaky, hot and steamy all rolled into one.

What can I say about Reece? He started out as your cocky, arrogant bad boy but he more than redeemed himself. Having had his world rocked by his ex and I don't mean in a good way, trust was a huge issue for him. Enters Emma, living away from her family for the first-time, trying to make her way in the world.

Trust goes both ways, not just for a reluctant superhero but also for a woman wanting to make the world a better place. Love helps smooth the path and we have two people whose worlds collided, the push and pull between them were deliciously described. His vulnerabilty, her tenaciousness, all their delightful banter, I could not ask for more.

Definitely a five star read for me.

When Reece is dealt the ultimate punishment for his wicked ways it will change him beyond his wildest imagination. As soon as he realizes that he's now in danger of loosing the one woman he truly desires, he will need to restrain himself, if his secret is revealed, it could destroy everything.

If he's ever going to love, he will need to find a woman who can accept him for his faults and all.

This is one smokin' superhero with powers they don't write about in comic books. Happy reading.

I loved the superhero aspect. I know this collection of books are meant to be erotic and the sex was off the charts hot! I could have read it without all the steam. The actually story was great and interesting. Honestly I think all the steam took too much away from the greatness of the superhero.

I found this book quite entertaining and the chemistry between Reece and Emma was hot as sin. I loved the moments of humor thrown in. This was a good read and written well.

Reece isn't your typical superhero. He used to be a playboy billionaire that was only looking for his next bed buddy. He ends up tangled with the wrong woman which results in him becoming a "super hero" for the ages. He takes down thugs throughout the city much to the delight of females everywhere. Emmalina works for Reece's company. She gets her first dose of the new super hero on the news then Reece enters the office & sparks are flying between them. He makes a quick exit & Emma's boss warns her that their boss is a little weird & off & she should keep her distance. This intrigues Emma even more & she quickly gathers the night's readings & heads up to the boss' lair. This leads to a steamy encounter that'll leave the reader as breathless as Emma. From there, hang on cause it's a super ride.

Another fun, lusty romp in the Misadventures series. Always a good time!

This is the first book I've read by Angel Payne and the first Super Hero book I've read. Ok, there are obviously some crazy good perks to getting it on with a super hero that I never knew about. Jealous!!!

Former-playboy-turned-superhero Reese is hot, has quite a way with words, and is definitely a good guy. Emma wants MORE out of life than what she's always been told to want. She is trying to do things on her own and the girl's got goals. These two are drawn to each other though in a way you just can't fight.

This was a twist on a love story that was very new to me, and super entertaining. The love scenes were freaking off the charts. Electric! Reese may be a super hero but Emma was pretty bad ass herself. Angel Payne has a new fan in me. I actually would like to read more involving these two, maybe in the future? Here's hoping.

I am not for sure what I just read. I usually don't read sci-fi romance so I was not sure how to rate this book. Reese is a billionaire captured then super charged by a past lover and some mad scientists. Reese now goes around town saving people with his super strength and speed. Emma is an night shift employee at his family owned hotel. It was lust/love at first sight.

Emma is the first lover he has had since his big transformation and he is not sure if his bodily fluids can cause damage. You will just need to read this well written imaginative romance to find out.

If you enjoy sci fi romance I am sure your understanding and rating could be higher. I decided to give this book a try since I have read and enjoyed several books in the "Misadventures" series.

When Emma meets Reece in the flesh, there is definitely something in the air. Reece makes most people feel uncomfortable. Instead of turning away from what she's feeling, Reece seems like a beacon drawing her in. Will Emma run for safety when she finds out that Reece is far greater than what he may seem? Will Reece be willing to take a chance and trust someone again after the betrayal he suffered that left him with the powers he now possesses?

This standalone entry into the "Misadventures" series is worth the read.

And you're looking for a quick dirty read with a side of super hero this title is for you!

Love, Love, LOVE! Be still my heart! Sci-fi AND scorchingly sexy scenes? SCORE! This book is this geeky girl's dream come true!

2.5 Electric feels stars!

A super hero with a secret identity. A bit of a love story. Some hot sexy times. Some awesome super hero happenings! For me those are ingredients for a smash hit. Misadventures with a Super Hero started off very strong. It was unique, fun, and interesting. Unfortunately the dialogue toward the middle and end just didn't work for me. So many times it felt like it just didn't make any sense, or as if the characters were just babbling on about stuff that didn't even really need to be talked about. It makes me sad, because I really enjoyed the majority of this book, and think it had a strong plot with so much potential.

I think if you really enjoy super hero stories, love stories, and smut. You will enjoy this read. Is it a homerun... meh? I'd say it's more of a double with one run in. Hey points on the board right!

This is the third in the Misadventures series. It was good and even funnier than the rest of the series. I liked how it wasn't the normal superhero stuff. This is for anyone who wants something light and fun and dirty.....

This was another really good book in the Misadventures series. Reece Richards is a spoiled rich kid, who partied for most of his life, until one night me met the wrong woman. Now one year later, he's totally not the same person he was before that fateful night. His life is nothing but secrets and heartache. Enter Emma Crist, the one woman whom he can not for the life of himself to forget.
Emma Crist works at Mr. Richards hotel on the night shift and one night while she's working Mr Reece Richards walks in can totally captures her thoughts and attention. After that first meeting these two people are set to got through a lot of ups and downs, to get to their HEA.

I tried...I just can't. I didn't realize when it said super hero it really meant like super powers, fantasy, etc. I didn't get too far in it before I had to just stop. Not saying it's a bad book, just not for me. Might try and go back to it again at another time but just not now.

This one is outside my choice of genres as far as the sci-fi element, but I was intrigued and just had to give it a chance. I've really enjoyed the other books in the Misadventures series so I was encouraged that this one would surely be good to be included in such a collection. I must say, it was a very nice introduction to Angel Payne. While I haven't been converted to reading sci-fi, I most definitely would love to read some more of her contemporary romance.

Emmalina is a newbie at the hotel she works for. Luckily she's assigned to the night shift so things aren't as busy as she learns the ropes. Another thing that doesn't happen too much is seeing the boss. But that changes when she heads up to the penthouse suite to deliver some reports. She gets more than she is expecting and guarantees that she will no longer be invisible as far as the boss is concerned.

Reece (aka Bolt) is a nerd, and the boss at a five-star hotel in Los Angeles. Yes, he's rich and has everything that money can buy. But one thing that's missing in his life is trust. He's been burned... badly. A tragic event changed him from a fun loving playboy to an angry man with a death wish. Though the tabloids love to spew his historic bad choices, he's not given them anything new for a long time. His manwhorish ways have been locked away and he hasn't even been tempted by a woman recently... until her. While he seems to make everyone around him uncomfortable, she's the exception. He knows he should stay away. Will he?

Misadventures is an understatement as far as this story goes. I found it to be very entertaining and very sexy. I look forward to more from the author and the series. The line forms here...

This was a fun story. The Misadventures Series is one of my favorite series'. Adventures of a SuperHero was a sexy fun read.

What a wonderful story! This series only gets better with every book and Misadventures with a Super Hero was HOT!!!

I loved Reece and Emmalina; they had great chemistry and a quirky storyline that will have readers constantly laughing out load. Reece has some serious commitment issues to get past, but in the process of saving the world, Emmalina is not about to let crap like that get in the way of a possible HEA.

I would remind readers that this series is labelled “High romance, low plot” so don’t be disappointed if there isn’t quite the amount of background you would usually expect from this talented array of authors. The stories are a lot of fun and a great way to let your mind escape into the inconsequential.
