Rockstar romance ....not bad. Abby is a young girl in law school with no real want to be there. It is expected of her. She meets this rockstar Luke and he is not a gentleman in the least. Luke offers her a proposition and she doesn't pass it up. I would like to have seen Luke's point of view. I feel some of his pain through the book and their conversations. I wonder if it would be tons better with his POV added. Abby is a strong character and isn't whiney or spoiled. She holds her own through out this book. She is strong and makes her own way. Wanted an epilogue!!!
I received this ARC from the publisher via Net Galley for my honest opinion. Thank you Net galley!

Wow! This book is so descriptive it'll make you blush, but underneath all the erotic descriptions is a sweet love story developing. Abby is a night shift clerk at a hotel in Denver trying to get through law school & stay "straight." Lucas is a rock star that has hit rock bottom & ends up in her hotel lobby. She tells him off for smoking in the lobby then later tells him off in his room when she delivers his food. This turns Lucas on & inspires him to start writing music again. He declares Abby his muse & comes up with a crazy proposition. Highly recommend reading this story to find out the proposition & what happens with Abby & Lucas.

O.M.G….this story is HOT,HOT,HOT.
Finally getting the chance to come face-to-face with her long time crush, Abby is not only unprepared, but somewhat disappointed by the extreme arrogance of Lucas Ford. But never one to back down from a challenge, Abby soon discovers that his surface arrogance masks an inner passion that she could never have imagined in her wildest dreams.
Abby and Lucas are combustible; burning up the sheets with their bedroom antics, and finding a depth within each other that neither one expected. The characters personalities where well developed, and the author’s depiction of their relationship and insecurities, only made us love them more.
This is definitely one of the best series this year, and only gets better every book!

Real talk--I wasn't sure about this at the beginning. The style is very casual and at first I thought it would have been better as a short story. But I was wrong. This story really comes together after a torrid scene with a girl, a rock star, and his friend. I physically laughed out loud in places and I was eager to see what would happen at the end. This novel is hot and has heart.

Holy Freakin Hotness!
Abby is goin to college, and working the night shift at the hotel, living a life of all work and no play. Lucas is having some serious career struggles, and is totally drawn to her take no bull attitude. They are only around each other for a short time period and that is more packed with sexual adventure, heat, and melt your kindle moments than I could have ever expected! There's more than just sex, though.
The way things end up is interesting and I really had no idea how things would turn out, right until the very end! I loved this story and the characters, the writing style. This was my first book by Lauren Rowe and I will seek out her books in the future. I highly recommend this delicious little story! It's one of my fave Misadventures.

Incredibly hot and sexy, I really liked this story in the world of Misadventures.
I liked the sassy character Abby and I am in love with Lucas. Together there chemistry ignites the page.
What I loved about this story and the others, are they are all easy fun and enjoyable reads. With HEA, no drama and all the angst that comes with other books that we get.

Abby is a law student who works the night shift at a fancy hotel. The shift is great because it allows her time to study and some quiet. That is until rockstar Lucas Ford checks in for a week. Lucas Ford is Abby's celebrity teenage crush who she thought of numerous times on lonely nights. So when Lucas requests Abby to bring his room service order personally and then offers her a week she will never forgets she takes a risk. So what happens when real feelings start to creep in and emotions get involved? This is my favorite out of all of the Misadventures books so far.

Here we go again! This one was better than the rest...love, sex and craziness with a rock star, who hasn't had that dream? Great fun, excellent beach read!

Abby Medford secretly crushed on Lucas Ford since she was a starry eyed teenager. Meeting the real version was an experience she would never forget. Their first meeting was explosive and Abby's take no prisoner attitude was something Lucas admired. She will no stand for the rock star behavior that looks down on others and is instrumental in the change in Lucas' life. One misadventure changed their lives forever. Explosive chemistry and fighting for want you want!

Okay, so this has to be one of the strangest storylines I've read in awhile. But, having said that, it was full or humor, sass, unusual hot steamy love scenes, and swoon worthy song writing from Lucas. Lucas and Abby are an unlikely pair, but that's probably what makes the story. The editing in this ARC is not the best, lots of words running in together, which was very distracting and hopefully corrected before release, but overall it was a very cute and funny story about two people who have some issues that need to be sorted out before really finding love. Very enjoyable.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.

I received an ARC for an honest review.
This story was well written with lots of sensual scenes. The characters stayed true through the whole book which is important to me. The characters were consistent to the HEA.
I recommend this story!

There were some hot, hot moments in this book!
Those moments are what made this book. It was hard for me to get through this book because I wanted to skip a lot. The main character would talk about the same thing in every chapter and I found myself skimming until I found something that interested me. I don't feel like I missed anything because it was repetitive.
When the ending came I just thought it lacked the fire that started in the book.

This is one story that I don’t want to give many details as it’s more interesting to read as they emerge. Abby Medford is a hotel clerk working the nightshift so she can go to law school during the day and study at night when it’s quiet.
Abby has been struggling with some demons, going to therapy and has disappointed her parents with her actions. Going to law school is her way of trying to make up to her parents but she really loves to write.
Late one night, Lucas Ford, a rock star, that’s she’s loved since a teenager comes in to stay for a week. Lucas is intrigued by her attitude and asks that she spend time with him so she can be his muse to write several songs that his record producers are requiring. He’s pretty much burned out and hasn’t been able to write a new song in years.
This wasn’t the usual rock star/struggling poor student story. Abby seems to change something in Lucas and he’s writing song after song and I enjoyed reading the lyrics. Their sexual chemistry is off the charts and there are definitely some interesting scenes! There’s a portion of the story that was somewhat heartbreaking but both Abby and Lucas move on in their careers.
I loved the ending. It ended up being a little bit of a fairytale HEA or happy for now but I liked it and each were in a good place with their lives and careers. I wish I could see more of their future together.
Thanks so much to Waterhouse Press, the authors, and Netgalley for this opportunity to read and review this book.

Full disclosure, I love, love, love anything written by Lauren Rowe, so getting the chance to read an advanced copy of this book has been an immense privilege.
I adored this book. Lauren knows how to write a steamy, sexy book with unexpected depth.
Initially, the story appears to tread a well worn path of girl meets rock star, is smitten and a hook up seems inevitable. Ha! There's the first mistake, assuming that the heroine Abby is a stereotypical fangirl fawning all over her teenage fantasy. The veil of celebrity falls very quickly when Abby is confronted with the reality of an arrogant, entitled idiot.
Abby is a young woman who will not stand to be treated badly and Lucas is a rock star desperately in need of a reality check. Lucas finds in Abby a person who refuses to let him skate through life unchallenged. Lucas in turn forces Abby to see that she is living a lie.
What follows is a meeting of minds as well as bodies. The subplot of unfulfilled promise and being forced to live life for others instead of for yourself is where I really connected with the characters.
Of course the intimate scenes are hot and air con worthy, but honestly they just enhance an excellent love story.
If this is the type of story I can expect from the misadventures series then I'm absolutely in for a treat.

**4.5 Stars**
This book completely hooked me from the start. There was something intriguing and sinful about Lucas, and Abby is a sassy firecracker with a ton of attitude. Together their chemistry was off the charts sizzling hot. There were many a steamy scene throughout the book. Both Abby and Lucas were working through life and challenges on their way to being free, but they needed each other to ultimately reach that end. This book was engaging. I did not want to put it down, and it ended with a HEA in which both were free in life and in love. This was my first Lauren Rowe book and I was impressed. A great addition to the Misadventures series!!!

It all started with a sex tape.......Abby Medford just couldn't peel her eyes away from the scandalous sex tape featuring her high school girl crush Lucas Ford, rock star. To her surprise, he winds up sheltered away for a week at the hotel that she works at. What follows is a steamy no holds bar sexcapade between two emotionally scarred people.
Abby was a bit of a wild child in her teenage years and very open sexually. Now, to please her parents and not be the disappointment that she used to be, she has gone back to school studying law while working for the Rockford Hotel in Denver. She also had a secret side that no one knew about. She was the author of her very own secret sexy blog.
Lucas Ford was down on his luck and felt that he was being held back by his record label in producing the type of songs that he wanted to produce. After having a meltdown on stage, his record label carted him for for a week long stay at the Rockford Hotel, so he could regroup and finally start writing the type of songs his record label would approve of.
Abby couldn't beleive her eyes when her high school crushed walked into her hotel. Wait, hold up! Was he smoking in the hotel? Oh No! Abby was having none of that and gave him a piece of her mind while telling him it was illegal to smoke into the hotel lobby under the Colorado Clean Indoor Air Act of 2006. For the first time that night, Lucas actually felt something other than the despair he felt over his disastrous evening. Unfortunately for him, his rudeness only got him an even bigger tongue lashing from Abby. But imagine Abby's surprise when Lucas surprises her the next day with a song he wrote for her because she inspired him. She was his muse.
Lucas knew he needed to write a big hit, one that his record label would fall in love with so he could finally produce his 4th and final record with this label. He and Abby embarked on a roleplay idea to help him reach this goal. They both wound up getting more than what they bargained for. Could love and a happily ever after be in their future?
Lauren Rowe, author of Misadventures on the Night Shift, really pulls you into the story. The first chapter I was a little iffy on, but then it really started to grab my attention. The sex scenes were hot, no make that scorching hot! Make sure you have a cold glass of water nearby because you are going to need it. If you like your erotica with a neat and tidy romance, this is not it. If you have an open mind and love a twist to your story, then you will absolutely fall in love with this book. Pick up a copy because you will not regret it.

I found this book to be a little disappointing in the way the lovers separation was handled near the end of the book. Not sure they really loved each other as much as they stated as they both immediately hooked up with new lovers when they were separated, The H and h were very immature and even though I enjoyed the book I found it a little too raunchy for my taste, Interested in reading another from this series to see if they are all the same format or if there is more than just sex in the others.

The book is great. When I started reading I couldn't put it down I read the book in one day.Abby Medford, a law student working the night shift, and Lucas Ford, a bad boy rock star, who has some erotic games in mind for Abby. The book is full of hot sex. They are very good together. The is the first book of Lauren Rowe they I read and I plane to read more of her books.Keep up the good work.

Wowee! This story is habanero hot!! The chemistry between Lucas and Abby was white hot. I think every gal would like to be a little bit like Abby and our men to be a little bit like Lucas! I loved that Lauren was fierce in her story and took no prisoners or pardons for it. I felt a bit naughty reading it and not in a judgemental way but like someone giving me a hug and saying "You're perfect in your own way." Way to go Lauren! Hotter than a pepper sprout!

My favorite so far out of the Misadventures books. This book makes having a night shift position at a hotel sound sexy! It's a quick, dirty easy to read title. Recommend!
