Book 2 in the Embraced series continued with the telling stone predicting what would befall sister Brigetta in her love life. These books are endearing to and fun to read with a few surprises and more predictions for books to come. Pirate Rupert was sexy, honorable, and kind. And did I mention sexy?

I love it when a book takes me on an easy whirlwind. This is a YA novel as both Cam and Macey are about to graduate highschool. They have been best friends their whole life and still are. Macey is on a mission to secure a date for Prom while using the romantic tropes of her favorite romance novelist. Nothing goes as planned however.

This was very easy reading and I liked the deep friendship between Macey and Cam. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I was missing some big moment I guess.

All in all a lovely and clean romance. Enjoyed it!

This now was a little too young for me. I have a hard time with high school romance. I gave it a go, but in the end, it is like more for my teens!

I feel like the plot for this story has been done before and I could not get into the story

I'm not a huge fan of cheesy romances, but I thought I would give it a try because it seemed like it was somewhat different than other cheesy romances. Thank you netgalley for the arc for an honest review.
