This book was so entertaining. I was drawn into the story from the beginning and was involved until the end. The characters were complex and interesting. I found the story to be well paced and engrossing throughout the whole book. I was invested in the couple throughout the book and felt all the emotions through both the highs and lows of the story. The side characters were such an integral part of this story as well. This is the love story i needed to read at this time. If you want an entertaining and well written book this is it for you

I feel like the writing didn’t perform or convey the way the author wanted it to. I had a hard time keeping up with the storyline and characters and this book did not appeal to me like I thought it would.

Mafia prince meets his match.
Costello Badd is a Mafia Prince and Scotch a.k.a Heather is a waitress at his club. All Scotch wanted was to protect her friend while working along side. Costello comes into body search everyone including Scotch. She wasn't afraid until she almost strip searched her.
Costello can't get his hands off Scotch but when she was in trouble, he didn't hesitate to rescue her. Scotch was in trouble. She was covered in blood and holding a gun. She was trying to rescue her friend from Darien Valentine who was choking a life out of her. She tried but gun went off and she was in trouble.
Costello will need to come up with plan to help Scotch. He decided to take Scotch to his brother's wedding and keeping the secret away from his dad. He will have to figure out a way to settle everything without Scotch in harms way. He stood by his word and he promised to protect Scotch no matter what.
Its bit more complicated Mafia romance with really interesting family dynamic and Scotch has own set of her family who won't get along with his. Now both will have to figure out a way to save his family and Scotch's life.
Story moves fast and it shows more dynamics of family and why Costello seems the way he is.
Thanks to Netgalley and Montlake Romance for my ARC in exchange for honest review.

This book started out with a major bang! I wasn’t expecting all of that action to begin with. But I think that whole situation in the club is what made me like Scotch and Costello. This is definitely a spicy read with plenty of steam!

Scotch never runs from difficult situations. That is, until she rescues her bestie from a violent Mafia member. Now Scotch is running for her life. The only thing standing between her and certain death? The most dangerous man in the criminal underworld—and one of the sexiest. But just when Scotch thought she could keep her hands out of trouble, they end up all over Costello Badd’s hot, hard, tattooed body. Once upon a time, Costello’s blue blood might have ruled a nation. Instead, he is heir to one of the criminal underworld’s most lethal families. Now he’s risking his life and betraying his clan for one sexy, resourceful waitress with a penchant for all the wrong kinds of trouble. No matter how badly Costello wants Scotch, he can never make her his. Ever.A deliciously hot little hookup is one thing…but falling in love could ruin both of them—royally
The book was good. I liked both main characters as they went through the story. It was a hot and quick adventure. I recommend.

I went into this a bit nervous since I didn't love the first book in the series. I wanted to like it since I'm a big fan of mafia romance, alpha males and strong heroines but I just could not get into it. I never felt "hooked." I set it down several times and was tempted to DNF. Ultimately I was curious enough about Scotch and Heather's HEA so I skimmed to get to the end. There were some fun scenes, a few twists and turns I liked, but it was just a bit to easy and slightly unbelievable. It was just okay for me.

Wow!! This was a super good story that I couldn't put down! I really enjoyed this book!

Royally Ruined is an interesting and good mafia romance story. The main characters were easy to like.

Scotch is my favorite. I love how much she's willing to stand up for herself and to protect her friends. She's independent and stubborn.

Costello Badd is moody and demanding. He thinks he's such a bad guy, yet he's very protective of Scotch. He's gentle without even realizing it.

I really enjoy the interactions between Scotch and Costello. I wish there was more banter, more story. I liked these characters so much that the story almost felt too short.

The book is written as part of a series. It can be read as a stand-alone, but it makes more sense reading as part of the series.

I'm curious how things will play out for the rest as the Badds as the series continues.

I received this book as an Advance Reader's Copy. All opinions are my own.

Royally Ruined was the second installment in the Bad Boy Royals series featuring Costello and Scotch. I enjoyed this story, especially Costello and Scotch's chemistry and his bad boy broody persona. I honestly could not get enough!

When waitress Scotch discovers her bestfriend is in danger at the hands of a well-known gang member, she does what any bestfriend would do - risk her own safety and life to protect her friend. But when this unknowingly puts a target on her back, Costello Badd, the oldest son in the Badd mafia family does the unexpected and protects her. But what happens when lines are crossed and real feelings develop?

As soon as I started reading this novel I was intrigued by Costello and his broody ways. I wanted his story and to see the deep facets he was hiding. I enjoyed his chemistry with Scotch and loved that she brought him into the light and made him want to feel again.

All in all this was fantastic! I would like to thank Netgalley and Montlake Romance for an advanced copy of this book for an honest review. Bravo! 4 Stars! ~Ratula

Royally Ruined has some a different tone to the story and characters from the previous book, that it did a great job of keeping it separate while still remaining part of the series. Nora Flite did a magnificent job of writing Costello and Scotch’s story as a complete standalone from Royally Bad, that even if I hadn’t already read it I would’ve have needed to. Everything I needed to know about them was included in this book and I had no need to stop and go back to the first book for any references in the story line for past events. I’ve had that happen to many times to count, and I’m so thankful I was able to enjoy this just as independently as I had with the first book.

The darker tone to Costello’s character gave such a different feel to the story. Having gotten to know him a bit in the previous book, he was a bit of a mystery to me. So quiet and closed off, I often wondered what his story was and I’m so thankful that I got it. Poor guy has been groomed for so long to head the family when the time came that he never got to enjoy life luxuries like his siblings. He’s always had the weight of the world on his shoulders, so to speak, or at least the weight of the underworld. Not only being true royalty, but mafia royalty in their area - there is just so much to deal with. His sense fo duty and loyalty go so deep with him and he’s willing to do whatever is necessary and at all costs to ensure the safety of his family and those he cares for. It was incredibly admirable and was exactly why Scotch was so drawn to him.

Scotch was like the opposite side of the same coin when it came to Costello. She too will do what it takes to protect those she cares for and has such a strong sense of duty; that ultimately puts her in danger. She’s tough and sassy and knows what she wants - even when it comes to making a move on the elusive Costello.

This was a wonderful follow up in this series and I can’t wait to get from from this author and the Badd family characters.

I am just loving Nora Flite's Bad Boy Royals series. This is Costello and Scotch's story and I just loved them, when Scotch rescues her friend from a very bad man she is forced to go on the run, She knows Costello can keep her safe the attraction between them is off the charts and while they no it can't go anywhere can they keep their hands off each other. This was a brilliant addition to the series I did not want to put it down

Scotch has crappy luck. She does a good deed and now she’s paying dearly. Scotch is forced to go on the run with the city’s most dangerous mafia boss.

Costello Badd is the head of his family’s mafia empire. A night that was supposed to bring good things to his family could be their ruin. One brave, smart mouthed woman may be his undoing for he cannot leave Scotch’s fate in the hands of others.

Scotch and Costello are polar opposites, yet they can’t fight the attraction between them. If they’re not careful their attraction may get them killed.

Royally Ruined is a fast-paced mafia romance. Scotch is an amazing character. She is tough, and she knows what she wants. Costello really needs Scotch to bring out his softer side and oh boy does she. There’s nothing like being on the run from a bunch of killers to bring two people together.

At the beginning Royally Ruined goes from sexy to thrilling in what felt like a split second. I really enjoyed these two. Ms. Flite is a new author to me and I will definitely read her again. Royally Ruined is a sizzling adventure!

Royally Ruined
Bad Boy Royals #2
Nora Flite
4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This series is def not your typical royalty romance. This family is more mobster than royalty.
This one def kept you on the edge of your seat. There was danger lurking everywhere during this one. You never knew what was gonna happen next.
Can’t wait for Book 3 to be released so I can get some more of the Badd Family.
Thanks NetGalley for the arc in exchange for my honest review.

Royally Ruined is the second book in the Bad Boy Royals series and I utterly adored Royally Bad, the first book in the series, so I had pretty high expectations when I sat down to read Royally Ruined.
I expected just as much angst, romance, tension, mystery and suspense as I received with the first book in the series and I got all that and more!
Nora Flite definitely did not disappoint with the second book in this addictive series.
I can't wait to read more and learn more about one of my new favorite families.

Thanks to Netgalley and Montlake Romance for generously providing me with an arc of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.

I didn't have the pleasure of reading the first book in this series, but from what I can tell, you can certainly read this as a standalone. Without giving away too much of the storyline, it is a very different mafia book, but very good nonetheless -- intrigue, suspense and lots of steam!

I normally don't read mob/gang type books but I picked this one on a whim and I'm glad I did. It wasn't your typically mob story focused on various crimes and family members. Well...I suppose it was focused on that, but with equal focus on romance and chemistry.

Talk about being in the wrong spot at the wrong time. Scotch gets screwed when she tries to help her best friend out of a life threatening situation. She ends up on the run with a man she barely knows who is the only person she trusts to protect her.

My only complaint: why did no one think to track their cell phones? With today's technology you would think they would have ditched the phones and bought burner ones.

Otherwise loved it!

Are you ready to go to the Badd side again? Who am I kidding of course you are and nobody would blame you because this time we go Badd for the sinfully sexy Costello.

I knew after reading Royally Bad that I needed Costello’s book. There was just something about the oldest Badd that drew me in like a moth to a flame and after inhaling his book, I’m officially hooked on the damn guy.

Seriously, he is smoking hot and OMG just wait till you see him with his heroine in Scotch…..sigh. These two should come with a fire extinguisher to put out the sizzling flames that they generate. They are one hundred percent perfect for each other. Who knew that the toughest Badd would fall the hardest?

Scotch is one of those characters that you will love instantly. She’s tough, loyal, smart and sassy, not to mention the only woman to ever bring the almighty Costello to his knees and make him do things he never thought he would do.

Watching these two fall as they dodge bullets, Papa Badd, thugs and more was not only fun it was so worth the bleary eyes from lack of sleep the next day just so I could finish their story. No kidding here, this book sucked me in with the alternating POV chapters and would not allow me to put it down. Plus with all the revelations popping up, who was I kidding that it was only going to be just one more chapter.

I can’t wait for Thorne to find his HEA just as his siblings have and for the events of the last part of this book to play out. I’m officially hooked on this series, no doubt about it.
