This is the first book of this series that I've read, and I now want to read Kain's book. I love how intense Costello is. Such a great anti-hero. And Scotch is no slouch or your ordinary damsel in distress. They are such great characters... Happy sigh. Was rooting for them the whole way.

It's a dark subject, mafia and the underground. But it didn't feel that dark. Probably because they were...not there most of the time because... Read the book!! Got my heart thumping there a bit.

Though it took me a while to finish (sadly real life got in the way), I enjoyed it a lot.

I received an ARC of the book for my honest review. Thanks Netgalley and publisher.

This book was so good! In a book about the mafia, I'd never thought the word adorable would describe the hero but, Costello was just adorable! I loved his vulnerability, it really made him so much more real than I could have imagined.

Excellent writing and I can't wait to read more!

Costello Badd isn’t a fairytale prince. As the eldest son and heir to the Badd criminal empire he keeps to himself and focuses on the job he needs to do.

Scotch has been a waitress at a strip club for eight years. On one particularly bad night at work, she has to save a friend from a perilous situation… and lands herself in life threatening danger.

Now the only person she can trust is the one guy who is completely wrong for her… and yet intensely intriguing…

This was a great read! I felt like there was a little bit of the Bad family background missing, but other than that I thoroughly enjoyed this book! From the first scene with Costello and Scotch I was hooked. Scotch is a strong woman, who protects those she loves. Costello is sexy and dangerous, and yet he has this caring side that he shows with Scotch.

The storyline was full of action, and the attraction between Costello and Scotch is a scorching one. This book was so well written, I loved the characters and I can’t wait for more from this series!

I really enjoyed Nora Flite's Royally Ruined. It’s over the top in the best way possible making it a fast-paced, sexy and fun romance. Costello is the heir to the throne of his powerful mafia family, but he is not happy about the responsibility or his future. He doesn’t consider himself a good man and doesn’t believe he deserves love. But when he rescues Scotch from a dangerous situation, he finds himself wanting something he’s never wanted before. Their chemistry is off the charts as they run from the bad guys and get to know each other along the way. Scotch is feisty and sassy and the perfect match for the surly Costello. The story moves along at a steady pace and draws the ready into the adventure. Costello is utterly endearing as he falls for Scott, and Royally Ruined is swoon-worthy entertainment.

This book was the best surprise!

The blurb lured me in but the story, the events - not to mention characters - kept me interested and going.

Our heroine is a cocktail waitress at a strip club owned by a Mafia family, the Badds. Nobody messes with them. But when our heroine tries to save her best friend, things get complicated.

Costello Badd is a man whose reputation precedes him. He's cold, aloof and has a wall that surrounds him, keeping him away from others and others from getting close to him. But he makes a promise and that wall starts crumbling fast. Because Costello Badd always keeps his promises.

You have suspense, action, feels, some really hot scenes and a heroine hell-bent on saving herself, thus making it hard for our hero to save her. So she's not really a damsel-in-distress. Well, okay, so there are a few scenes when saving is needed but she's a perfect match for a future Mafia king.

I recommend this book, will read the previous one and the ones that follow. Ms. Flite definitely has a new fan!

This was so good! I had never read Nora Flite before, so I wasn't sure exactly what to expect. These characters were amazing. I got hooked on all the Badd siblings, Scotch, and Gina. Both Scotch and Costello were so willing to sacrifice for the ones they loved, and once they discovered they loved each other, all bets were off. They were both in fierce protection mode. I loved them together. This story had suspense, action, family drama, emotional struggles, and some seriously intense chemistry which brought on some supremely sexy moments. I loved it, and I've already grabbed book one from this series so I can catch up.

I had never read anything by Nora Flite before I came across this book, and I was hooked by the blurb. I noticed that it was the second in a series, and since the first book was available on KU, I read it before diving into this one. I'm glad I did because there were some parts of this story that I wouldn't have understood as well if I hadn't read the first book, particularly about the Badd family history. I enjoyed both books very much, but this second was my favorite of the two because I really liked Costello. I liked Scotch as well, but I did have trouble understanding some of her motivations. I don't want to give the story away, so I won't go into more detail, but I will say that this is a well written story that pulls the reader in and keeps you interested in what's going to happen. I got lost in the Badd family's world, and I was sad when I was done reading these books because I know I'll have a bit of a wait for the next one. I look forward to reading Thorne and Lula's stories, and I hope that Ms. Flite pairs them with some worthy love interests!

All reader making sure you suspend belief while you read this story. The romance is cheesy and very cliche with the bad boy Mafia ties to being part of a royal family and a girl who is a bar tender who is feisty and protective. Oh and if readers didn't see the twist coming you had to be blind because it was obvious.
Costello would be the bad guy but really isn't just a big old softy which didn't match all the crimes he was to have supposed to have committed. Scotch was feisty but she was also a bit of a cliche too. I can't go into more details as it will spoil a few twist.
Thank you t netgalley for a copy for my honest opinion

Scotch and Costello are familiar with each other as she's a waitress at one of his family's clubs, but their spark doesn't ignite until Scotch has to go on the run for her life, with Costello her only hope for survival. Their chemistry is amazing and when all the build-up finally lights up, it's fireworks! But their relationship grows so much deeper than just their physical attraction, as they each find they're able to relate to the other and help heal old wounds and insecurities.

Costello is a force to be reckoned with, but he's sweet and tender when he needs to be for Scotch. Scotch is feisty and strong, and nobody's fool. Their dialogue is brilliantly written, showing a whole range of emotions as they work their way to their HEA. I love romance books that show a nearly irredeemable bad boy who allows love to transform his heart and his life, and when it's written as well as it is here the result is a truly amazing story. Nora Flite has done such a fantastic job with this book and has given a fantastic take on this type of story too. I totally love this take on this story and was over the moon with what I had read. It was such a brilliant book that was such a pleasure to read. I didn’t want to put this book down or to for it to end. Would totally recommend this book to everyone

I loved this story! Costello is dark, brooding, sexy as hell, and dangerous. Scotch is hilarious, independant, sassy, and strong. These two together are insanely hot, but with the danger they are both in they don't think they'll get their happy ending. I will say it took a few chapters to really get to the good parts, but I hung in there because I know it was only going to get better. And I was right! This story had my gripping my iPad wanting to know what happened next and how this would all play out. The secrets, the passion, the romance, it was all executed so well. I loved this read!! I definitely recommend it! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

Great read, story line is a love match that shouldn't work. the characters of course are beautiful and one is wealthy as well as dangerous. Love overcomes all the obstacles in the way of these two people getting together, and whilst the story is a little predictable I enjoyed reading it.

Scotch knew that being a waitress in a mob-owned strip club would be trouble, but she promised her best friend she'd stand by her. Costello hated the expectations heaped on him as the eldest son of the Badd mafia family. It was even worse that he was actual royalty. But he'd given his word. And Costello was a man of his word. When a meeting with a rival gang goes south, Costello vows to protect Scotch from everyone looking for a piece of her. Even his own family. He planned on keeping her safe. She planned on staying alive. Neither planned on falling in love.

I picked this book up on a whim.... and I ended up staying up all night reading it. I couldn't put it down! I needed to know what was going to happen next. I was so invested in the characters and their story.

I'm not normally a fan of 'bad boy alpha males' they often fall into cliches or controlling jerks. Costello may have the veneer of a bad boy, but underneath he's actually sweet and self-sacrificing to a fault. As the story progressed, I cared more and more about Costello and his past. I even found myself rooting for him. Even though he was dangerous, deadly, and ruthless. While it took me a little bit to warm up to Costello, I adored Scotch from the word go. She was uncompromising but at the same time willing to listen and adapt. She never felt like "the load' or a 'damsel in distress.' She stood up for herself, but knew when to run. I also enjoyed the side characters. I'd like to see more of them, particularly Lula and Thorne.

This is a light, fun read.

Five Stars.'

The last Nora Flite book that I read fell into the "can't put it down" category. This one? Not so much. I'm afraid this one fell into the boring category. The romance elements felt contrived. I'm disappointed.

Not the best in this series but ok for a mofia romance. The whole thing was a little forcibly dramatic but I didn't hate it.

Liked this book even better than the first one in the series. It was great to finally find out what the deal was with Costello and his family and that ending. I'm wondering if their might be more to their story with Heather's new occupation. Should be interesting either way. I'm looking forward to Hawthorne's and Lula's stories.

Costello sometimes has a hard time with patience, "I touched the zipper and he groaned. “Hurry,” he said, all husky. “You have no idea how challenging it is to stand here and wait.” I liked this book, I fell in love with Costello, and I'm quite eager for another book in this series.

Really good! Costello is hot! I was glued to my kindle with this! What is it about a scarred and handsome dominant male that really gets you! This man definitely makes you want to crack his armor and see what is beneath! Sometimes the hero was a bit too cold and the heroine was a bit annoying but other than that, it was great. I read the first book in this series and I liked this one but not as much as the first. I did really enjoy it though. I certainly recommend it and I can't wait for more!

Being Mafia royalty is the only life Costello Badd has ever known. Loyalty to the family is everything. Or it was until Scotch rams into his life. Trying to help her best friend Scotch finds herself in more trouble than she can handle and Costello seems to be the only one who can help her. Can she trust him? After all it would mean him going against the family he holds so dear. Costello knows what he's risking but helping Scotch is something he has to do no mater the cost.

I loved this book. These characters grabbed me from the very beginning and I couldn't put this one down. Definitely I book I am recommending.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. What a great second book in the series. I was so glad to see that Costello got his own story. We first meet him briefly in the first book Royally Bad about the youngest brother, Kain and Sammy the woman he falls for. In this new book you get to see what makes Costello tick. How he loves his family and will do anything to protect them including taking the blame when someone else is does something that could bring harm to the family. Scotch is a woman who works as a server at a club his family owns. She is also protective of the ones she loves. She began working there to make sure her friend who had gotten a job there would be safe. She is a woman who is not afraid of Costello who can be very intense. Something happens one night and the two find themselves running to save Scotch's life. This story was full of suspense, mystery, angst at times as well as a few funny parts. It was also one hot and steamy read. There is definitely a lot of chemistry between Costello and Scotch. I loved this story line and the great HEA! I can't wait to read more in this series.
