R.L. Kenderson brings in deep undertones to her Romance. I really like the way her characters have things to overcome personally while they navigate the action and the romance, it really gives a greater connection to them for the reader.

Sawyer and Kenzie had been kidnapped as they were mistaken for Vaughn and Naya. Kenzie steals a vehicle from their kidnappers and escapes. Sawyer is unconscious as he hit his head but he had also been drugged by their captors. Kenzie had no idea where they were until she sees a sign and realizes she is very close to her brothers house. She figures that would be a good place to lie low for awhile. Sawyer hates all human and is a cat shifter and is torn as heKenzie is human and he is very attracted to her but treats her bad because of his hatred. Sawyer fights his attraction with everything he has as he had trauma in his childhood involving humans and his parents.. When Sawyer comes too again he has amnesia and doesn’t remember his hatred but believes Kenzie is his mate. Kenzie knows Sawyers memory could return at any time but takes the time she has with him with mo hatred form him. Kenzie loves Sawyer. But they are still running from the people after them. Everyone is hunting Gerald who is a shifter but betrayed his people. For power and to get a woman that belongs to someone else. Kenzie best friend ois naya and Sawyer’s best friend is Naya’s mate Vaughn who are children of Vampire royalty and a shifter leader. Gerald will bring harm to anyone to get what he wants. There is an unusual union between Vampires and and some shifters to catch Gerald. Kenzie and Sawyer make it home and kenzie finds out she was fired from her job. Once Sawyers memory returns he rejects Kenzie and as his mate and pushes her away. He pushes her until Kenzie finally breaks and decides to leave the area.. Than naya is furious and pregnant to and goes to ream Sawyer out. I loved this book it was a great read. I advise you to read the other books in this series for the background as well as a smoother read. I chuckled at times while reading this book and I also choked up at times.. I didn’t want to put this down. This book had my attention from the first page until the last page. I really hated when Sawyer was so cruel to Kenzie. I loved Sawyer and Kenzie together and how they interacted without the hatred. I did get annoyed with Sawyer at times. I loved the suspense and action. My heart broke for Kenzie with how much Sawyer was cruel and hurt her. I loved the characters and the ins and outs of this book and I highly recommend it.

This is story three from Kenderson’s Forbidden series and even though I haven’t read the first two stories in the series, this one stands on its own. The humans, cat-shifters and vampires are well-developed and interesting characters. It was an all night read for me which is a great compliment to this book. A definite must read, and I plan to read the other stories in the series!

This is the third book in the series and does not disappoint a great read i cant wait for the next nook to see how this ends.

"Forbidden Temptation" is a strong shifter romance with a solid plot. Kept me reading.

'Forbidden Temptation' by R.L. Kenderson is Book Three in the "Forbidden" series. This is the story of Kenzie Swanson and Sawyer Lennar. I have read the previous book and feel this is not really a standalone book. It can be, but to fully enjoy their story you should read the previous books.
Sawyer doesn't care for humans but he is having a hard time previously fighting his feelings for Kenzie. But they were kidnapped and this is where this book opens to them escaping and Sawyer being unconscious and drugged. This has left Sawyer without his memory of who he was and this Sawyer is a different acting person than the old one. But he and Kenzie are still on the run from the people that are after them. But can this open Sawyer to let his guard down with Kenzie and maybe get their happy ending.
