The book was not exactly what I was expecting. It's more like a book of lesson plans for unmotivated teachers? I must admit, the book was lost on me and I'm a veteran teacher.

Good book! Definitely steered toward public school teachers, not homeschool teachers. Although some advice does still work for both. Great list of reflective questions in the back that are universal for all teachers in some capacity or other.

I received. an advance reader copy in exchange for a fair review.

Great gift for the educator in your life, though I thought this book would be a collection of fun teaching stories rather than a call for educational reform.

Quite a positive take on teaching, probably a quick, thoughtful read for NQTs though very specific to her age group.
