'My Fair Lord' is the first in a new Regency series by Wilma Counts. Retta allows her younger half sister to goad her into a bet that Retta transform an ordinary dockworker of her half sister Rebecca's choice into a society gentlemen and pass him off as such at a ton gathering. Unbeknown to all but the dockworker he is in actuality the son of a Duke working on a clandestine mission for the government. What ensues is a delightful story of falling in love with the entirely wrong person. I feel that the graphic sexual encounters (which I just skip over) are unnecessary to the otherwise intriguing, humorous mystery and romance that plays out on the pages.

Thanks to NetGalley and Kensington Books for sending me a copy of this book. A regency romance which I found hard to put down. It was a good length. The storyline was original and had romance and a bit of mystery built in. The characters were believable and all in all it was a very good read. I think fans of this genre will really enjoy it.
