This was a really nice read. Inspiring, too. I liked how she compared the first part of Genesis with the Christian life. She had a lot of thoughts that were interesting that I never thought about. Her personal stories were enjoyable as well. Her writing style was also really smooth and relatable. This is a book I’m definitely gonna revisit.

A really great read. I enjoyed the tips to make us more Christ like but what I loved most was her spin on the days of creation. How descriptive and perceptive these were. I would gladly read another book by this author.
I was given this book by Netgalley and the publisher. This is my voluntary and impartial review.

I love the concept behind "Everyday Genesis", the idea of comparing the creation story to a renewed spiritual path. I also appreciate the author's depth in storytelling and in Biblical knowledge. Unfortunately, though, this book missed the mark for me. I felt the book was very judgmental, and veered into very preachy territory on the part of the author. I truly wanted to love the book, as there is depth that often is absent from many of today's books for Christian women. However, the judgmental tone came to be too much for this reader. Thank you to the publisher, who provided me with a free electronic copy of the book via Netgalley. I was not required to write a review of any kind
