J enjoyed this book. Harriet is so opposite of Fliss. I a. Glad they have a!l found love. I recommend this title.

I loved seeing Harriet's story. Since we met her in Daniel/Molly's story, I was wondering what type of guy would get her attention and Sarah Morgan did not disappoint. Despite their rocky initial meeting (though not technically their first), Ethan does a lot to convince Harriet that he's not a bad guy. Although sometimes he does speak before he thinks.

We get some adorable dog action and the slow understanding that Harriet is a "badass" in her own right. She can be tough, she can be strong, she can get through the tough things. I enjoyed this one a lot.

I have read a lot of Sarah Morgan's books by now but so far missed out on the final installment of the "From Manhattan with love" series.

The book is set in Manhattan of course and we get to know Harriet who is running a dog-walking company. After a small accident she meets Dr. Ethan Black in the hospital who turns out to be the brother of one of her loyal customer and he has now to take care of his sisters dog, and so they meet again.

In the past I enjoyed the books by Sarah Morgan a lot especially because of her loveable characters and the settings. The setting was really nice, typical New York feeling. It's also set in Christmas time but wasn't overly festive for me.
The characters were a little disappointment this time and I couldn't really connect with Harriet and Ethan. Both remained pretty distant to me and I couldn't feel the connection between the two. The relationship felt a little bit forced to me and I missed the sparks between them. Both were a little bit special characters as well.

Overall the book was nice and I found myself entertained but I read better books by Sarah Morgan.

I didn’t realize this was sixth in a series, but I took a chance on it because I really enjoy Sarah Morgan, and I’m glad I did. I see the series stories in this, but it definitely stands alone as well, and was a perfect holiday adjacent book to wrap up on Thanksgiving.

4 Stars! First, who doesn't love a Christmas romance. I mean, they go hand in hand with Christmas trees, snow and fireplaces. I loved this book! Sarah Morgan is a new to me author and I enjoyed the writing and they way she made Manhattan come alive as a character in this book. I always love when the city itself feels like a character.

Now, on to the actual main characters. Harriet, was sweet and funny and I loved her development as a character. Ethan, was my favorite kind of hero, gruff, surly but ultimately sweet and kind. And Madi. We can't forget Madi! Love stories with doggies!

Please read this book for a taste of Christmas all year round.

I started reading this one but didn't hold my interest.. I though the concept was good but I wish I could have connected with the characters more.

Sarah Morgan's books are always a lovely escape and Moonlight Over Manhattan was no different. It's an easy read, but that's not a bad thing at all! It was just what I needed and hit all the good spots for me.

Sarah Morgan is a brilliant writer! Dogs, romance and Manhattan. So when Harriet gives herself challenges to overcome her shyness, which involves meeting people and dog walking, and then agreeing to dog sit Mattie whilst her owner is at work, what could go wrong? A lovely funny, romantic story set against the backdrop of Manhattan. Sarah Morgan is an absolutely brilliant writer.

I’ve read all of the books of Sarah Morgan’s From Manhattan With Love series, and this being the last book gives me a mixed emotion. I can’t believe that it’s all over.

I love this book so much. I love Harriet and her big heart so much. This book is all about self-discovery and stepping out of your comfort zone. Harriet has taught me so much about facing obstacles and leaving one’s comfort zone in order to see a much bigger world. And this book also tells us that love is not a one-way thing; it will not work if two people did not share the same feelings for each other. It’s so heartwarming and refreshing. I just really love Sarah Morgan as an author.

This was a DNF for me as I was not able to finish it on time. I enjoy a classic Christmas love story but it was not enough to be able to keep my interest. This may be coming from how I was not in the right mood while reading it but I see a lot of other readers enjoying this book.

Unfortunately, this book was not a good match for me, and I will decline to review. I hope plenty of other readers find it more compatible, and thank you for the opportunity to review!

I really enjoyed the heck out of this book though.

Harriet was such a well written character. And I loved the challenge she set for herself. And her and Madi had me giggling like crazy. Especially at how out of place Ethan was when it came to the dog.

There's nothing better than a big strong smart man not knowing how a dog works haha.

And Harriet and Ethan just in general were adorable. I loved their chemistry and how well developed their characters were. They were so dimensional and I enjoyed every minute of their interaction with one another.

This book definitely pulled me in, and I highly suggest it to anyone wanting a fun and easy read you won't want to put down.

5 Stars to Moonlight Over Manhattan for sure!!

I always love movies and stories that are set in New York. I don't know but New York for me is a melting pot of everything and there are a lot of places there that would be a good start for a very good story. It's like anything can happen there. The city is teeming with endless possibilities, more so with the most unexpected love stories.

I think one of the reasons I signed up to review this book is because it was set in New York. The blurb is also curious and who can't resist a story about a dog walker in New York, right? Sounds like an easy enough and fun job. That is, if you love dogs.

Harriet Knight is a shy dog walker who owns half of the dog walking business with her sister which is based in Manhattan. To escape her creepy date she met online, she ended up with a sprained ankle. In the emergency room, she meet Dr. Ethan Black, which turned out to be not the last time that she will see him.

This is one of those meet-cute stories. When Ethan met Harriet, Ethan had his own theories and questions about Harriet's sprained ankle. He's mind was coming up with these possibilities about Harriet's situation. Some were bordering on hilarious and extreme. He was used to dealing with the chaos of the ER and the hoard of demanding patients but he was not prepared for a nice one like Harriet who seemed to have melted his heart with just her smile.

I think the cutest and the most important character here in this story is Madi. Yes, without her, Ethan and Harriet would not have meet again and became closer. It was all Madi's fault. I think dogs are just the most successful matchmakers. They often draw two people together. Even if sometimes, these two people may not have anything in common at first glance. Madi is one of the reasons why I really enjoyed this story. It's not only funny but also inspirational.

This is an example of stories where at first, it seemed to be a disaster in the making but is actually sort of fate intervening. With Madi's antics, I don't think Ethan and Harriet would have been able to get to know each other. Also, the classic saying "The best way to a man's heart is through his stomach" is still very much applicable. Ethan was not immune to Harriet's culinary skills. He ended up wanting Harriet for keeps.

I give this book 5/5 very cute and cuddly dogs. I love that Harriet's character is very kind and very caring. Even though she's so shy, she more than made up for it for her ability to reach out and get close to people who really needed the attention and kindness. Just like the two old ladies here in the story whom Harriet helped. Even Ethan was so surprised that she knew more things about her old neighbor than him. I think that's one of the most endearing qualities that Harriet has that drew Ethan to her.

This story really made my day. Anyone having a bad day will definitely feel better after reading this. It's not only cute but very sweet as well. And I really liked that both of the characters here became better versions of themselves because they complemented each other. Harriet was able to overcome her fears and was able to do things she was afraid to do before. Of course, like all relationships, there were conflicts too but then love wins at the end. What sets this apart from all other meet-cute and happy ever after stories, is of course, Madi. It was all because of Madi. The best performance in a supporting role award goes to---Madi! I may be partial because I love dogs but still I'd say, it was all Madi.

No, because if you die in the night I don't want that on my conscience. I already have enough scars and baggage to deal with. Carrying any more will give me spinal problems.

Christmas in New York has always been something I want to experience. Until then I have books like this.

I've never read anything by Sarah Morgan, but this read, Moonlight Over Manhattan was fantastic. I enjoyed the characters and loved the setting. It is a slow burn, sensitive romance that I would recommend to any avid reader.

Review: Moonlight Over Manhattan by Sarah Morgan is a dazzling contemporary romance read. I was hooked from the beginning to end. Relationship issues, work issues, and family issues are explored within these pages. The plot was enticing. Steady going with scenes that speed up in certain spots. Some parts were sad, funny, and sweet. Sarah Morgan brought two opposites together in this title. Their personalities weren’t the only thing they had in opposite form. Their families to career choices differed by great means. Sometimes its not how much someone has in common with us, but how much different they are from us…that makes the compatibility good. This underlying theme was used.

Harriet is one of the main characters. She’s outgoing when it comes to her dog walking business. Dogs are her love. It’s easy to love her fun, warm, and sweet side. But underneath that Harriet also has a sassier side and that doesn’t come out until another character makes his appearance. Harriet is someone I would to hangout with and have as a friend. She’s that amazing. Caring, gentle, positive beam of sunshine.

Next, there’s the other protagonist. He’s more straight to the point. An ER doctor who has shut off all of his emotions. When it comes to feeling things, Ethan believes he doesn’t have a heart. Yet, Harriet knows he has one. He cares about his family and about his patients. The responsibility he shows in his work also proves that. Ethan is divorced. After his ex-wife, Ethan isn’t one for a long term relationship. He’s open to sex…and sex with one particular woman…Harriet.

Both Harriet and Ethannare pulled together when his sister asks him to watch over her dog. Ethan knows nothing about caring for a dog. Feeling helpless, he enlists Harriet’s help. But then that also backfires. Placing him on a bad spot with Harriet. Harriet still takes the job, all for helping the dog. But then complications arise when both are stuck in close quarters…Harriet is still working on challenging herself to things she never did. Ethan starts off with wanting to help her and to get closer to her. Yet, fate has a way of knocking some of their plans. Not falling in love would be one of them…

Overall, Sarah Morgan has done it again. Created another sexy yet beautiful tale. I fell in love with the characters immediately. The smaller characters were lovable, too. Characters like a neighbor, siblings, and coworkers made this a hilarious read. I laughed and felt like I was there with the them all. Moonlight Over Manhattan offers a promise of fun, love, and new beginnings. I highly recommend it to all.

Moonlight Over Manhattan is another very fun story in the From Manhattan with Love series. It can be read as a stand alone.

I always enjoy the characters that the author creates & Moonlight Over Manhattan had such interesting ones. Thje story was adorable & you can't help but root for a happy ending between Harriet & Ethan.

Moonlight Over Manhattan is light as air, so light in fact as to almost be almost vacant. The set up is standard contemporary romance fare: boy, girl, meet-cute, misunderstanding, HEA and one of my favorite genres when I want a carefree read. I like a little spunk, a little fire in the characters and some crazy electric love connection. Unfortunately, Harriet and Ethan are so bland as to barely make a ripple in the narrative and their chemistry? Non-existence, even their sexy times are dull (and let's face it romance lives for the sexy times and no it does not have to be graphic or raunchy, a sweet and clean story can be just as moving). Although Harriet and Ethan are not exactly a fiery couple, neither is the story, and that is where the narrative suffers the most. It is too much telling and not enough showing. I liked the fish out of water storyline, but it fell flat as the story progressed. Disappointing and dull

This title feels like one of classic songs or one those old time movies. I like the holiday setting too. After Fliss' story I wondered what would happen to her quiet and shy sister. After knowing her grown up years was not kind to her she became into her kept by comfort zone retreating each time and her speech impediment. Ethan was a workaholic doctor used to that lifestyle. I liked him like Harriet does, honesty and patience aren't traits you see in everyone.

With her Challenge Harriet scheme in play she dog sits for Ethan for a while. She can't help the attraction but he isn't into relationships. It's pretty cute she schools him on being more in touch with himself loving dogs. Yes I love that she cares for fur babies so much more and agree they can be better than some humans. Harriet is the kind, generous and sweet no mean bone so easy to like.

Total opposites, doctor and dog walker, shy and confident, family oriented and work focused. With a slow burn ish feel and a winter magic, Ethan and Harriet find they could be so good together. Balancing the other and helping the other with shortcomings. If and when they finally acknowledge it would be fantastic. I like the tie in with Sarah Morgan's other series with too.
