A fun and quick read to re-inspire one to get back onto the healthy eating track. Highly recommended.

As its title suggests, this book is a simplified distillation of weight-loss knowledge into a set of rules the author lives by. Experienced dieters may know this information already, but the simplicity of putting it all together in brief format is refreshing. Someone new to weight loss might prefer this book over the many complex and competing schools of thought in weight loss. I think that it lays out a healthy way to eat, in general.

This book is the best!! Easy to read, understand and the author is straight to the point. Very valuable advice and I cannot stress how easy it is to follow. I have purchased this book for 2 friends and they love it also. Thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and the author for the ARC of this book in return for my honest review.

The bold, colorful layout of this book makes it fun and interesting to read. It's a straight-forward guide full of tips and personal advice from the author about how she was able to lose weight. I can't say that I learned anything new, and I probably won't go back to it again, but it may appeal to some readers. I found the intentional lack of capitalization and punctuation in the headings to be annoying. Thank you for the publisher and Netgalley for the ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Mostly of the ideas of this book are well known but the way they are written down could make a difference, plus there are easy rules to follow. Not your usual dieting book, but still ok.

La maggior parte delle idee scritte in questo libro sono note, ma il modo in cui l'autrice le veicola potrebbe fare la differenza, inoltre sono anche regole facilmente applicabili. Non il solito libro sulla dieta, ma ok.

THANKS TO NETGALLEY FOR THE PREVIEW!

Nice book on weight loss.Tips and hints are useful even if not new but the author make a very good work on colors, graphics and large fonts to grab the readerìs attention.
The book is made by three main sections: rules for the body (how to choose food to eat), rules for the mind (listen to your body, avoid stress, don’t believe conventional wisdom about weight loss, ...) and how to get started (what’s in my cupboards and fridge, an example of a typical day, foodwise, ...)

The author adds a personal sense to the fight to be fit. There's not much new information, but she has presented her personal story in an attention-getting design. The list of cupboard items and a snapshot of her personal daily routine is quite helpful.

Another diet book that pretends to tell you something new, and then just slaps you in the face with the same old same old.

This is a quick read, with very basic and logical content. The format is nice; basically this is a weight loss guide presented in 31 distinct “RULES”. Every single “rule” is a logical, healthy and SMART way to make your lifestyle healthier. The author cites examples and basic facts to support her rules, but each explanation is brief and motivating. This book is visually appealing, and the layout and color scheme and simple graphics make you want to keep moving through it. This author doesn’t make ridiculous weight loss claims, or offer a “magic pill” solution. She presents all the basic healthy lifestyle tips we’ve all read (and probably all know by heart) over the years in one basic list-style format, with brief supporting explanations. If you want a basic, quick and dirty, this is what you need to do exactly and it WILL change your life, this book is it. This isn’t fresh information, but the approach IS simple and motivating. And IF you follow these rules, you can’t help but see your body and health change. There is a TON of scientific research to back up the majority of the rules presented here—but you don’t have to do the research, the author has already done it for you. In addition to the 31 rules, the author also presents some tips on getting started and how to maintain once you’ve achieved your goals. Again, nothing earth shattering on ground breaking here, but the concepts are kept simple and friendly. I found myself nodding at many points throughout the book—this is basic health stuff and it all makes sense. I would definitely recommend this book to someone looking for a quick read to help get started on creating a healthy lifestyle and losing weight.

This book was a serious waste of time. I am glad I didnt spend any money on it. All this information was in thousands of "diet" books already out there. Ridiculous!

This is a very straight forward book with an agenda of trying to make losing weight a more sound and honest, effective method. Very appealing layout and the authors comments add just the right personal touch.
