I love vampire books and love books based in Scotland so I expected to devour this book

Unfortunately I found it difficult to read, lots of flash backs., Mixed in with oldie world Scottish language.

This is the first 3 books in the series. If you are looking for a great vampire series, then you should defiantly pick this up. These are hot romances and is a fun romp through history,

OK, I admit going in I was a bit skeptical. Vampire and paranormal creature romance? I was pleasantly surprised, however. Great characters (no matter which side of the good/bad they fall on), captivating stories, and a unique voice all combine to make a series you can get lost in. If you enjoy your vampires to be of the non-sparkly variety, and a dash of romance with some thrills mixed in, you're going to love this!

I couldn't wait to finished this book, and when I finished I wanted more. I can't wait to read another great book from this author. ☆☆☆☆☆ totally worth it. I highly recommend this book. I loved the fact the I didn't had to wait to read the next book, since is a series of 3 books. Thanks to Netgalley, for this free copies my opinion is my own.

I really like this. I confess I was a little hesitant when it was three books in one. However, Burnz storytelling is descriptive. You get caught up in her world and the MC have really endearing qualities. Definitely would recommend!

These books were so awesome. As soon as I started reading them I couldn't put them down no matter how hard I tried! Definitely check out these books they are amazing. The plot, the dynamic characters, the historical and imaginative aspect of Scotland from the past is all very well executed in these books. There's alot of graphic sex scenes though so if you aren't comfortable with that then I would suggest reading another book.

This was an excelent read. I loved the suspense and the books are well written and full of twists

Although many of the typical characteristics of the paranormal romance genre are here, they are presented in a quite creative way. I found the books interesting and quite well-written and I look forward to reading the next three books in the series. I would rate these a 5 star but feel I need to take off a star because Davina sometimes made decisions I found difficult to understand.

If there's anything I hate, it's a TSTL main character like Davina. If there's a dumb option on the menu or something obvious to be overlooked, she's there every time. For example, after both Broderick and Amice warned her not to trust Angus, guess what, she did anyway. On a related note, for the times she was living in she was pretty helpless. In a fight she drops the dagger or she falls, but she always ends up in a bad situation. And there were so many references to secrets being disclosed that by the time I found out I didn't much care any more.

I only made it through the first of the three issues. 2 1/2 stars, rounded down because I really disliked Davina.

I'm a vampire fan, considering that my family came from Transylvania but no matter how many times I tried I just couldn't get in to it.

An intriguing and full story of Broderick and Davina, and their developing love for each other. The stories continue with their family, and keeps you intigued. The plot is multifaceted, along with the characters and it definitely held my interest!

The books in this series bundle have everything I like all in one story line: Sexy Vampires, who are also hot Scots, suspense, action, danger, good versus evil, steamy love scenes and eternal love. What I also really liked about these books is that the story lines are very unique and different from the books you usually find in this genre. I thought that Burnz takes a fresh and exciting approach to Vampire culture. I love that "happily ever after" isn't a given and some things have to be worked for and waited upon. And, sometimes that wait can be a very long time. I thought the characters throughout these books were vibrant and so richly detailed, that they came alive and almost became "real people", so-to-speak, and I found myself becoming quite invested in them and their feelings. Let me just say, that Rick absolutely shatters me. Women dream of finding a man who loves as deeply as he does. He is absolutely swoon worthy! I felt just a wee bit jealous of Davina, at times. But, my heart also broke for her, as well.

This is a great series, and I can't wait to read the rest of the books in it. I have to note, though, that I wasn't all that fond of the cover. I thought there was just too much "going on", and that it didn't do justice to the amazing stories within.
