Elizabeth George is a wonderful teacher of the Bible. In this book, she hits on a topic that many women fall prey to, not liking themselves, lack of confidence, etc. In this book, she will show you your true worth through God's .word.

I love Elizabeth George and am fascinated by Proverbs 31, put the two together, you get an heart-opening view on Proverbs 31.

Elizabeth George takes us on an exploration of the Proverbs 31 woman through her book, "Beautiful in God's Eyes". George sets out on a mission to discover the truths about this biblical woman. Is the Proverbs 31 woman realistic for today's women? We often hear about the "immeasurable standards" of this woman, but through George's book I am learning how to take this P31 example and allow it to influence me. in my own life and relationships.

The characteristics found in this Proverbs woman is - within our grasp. By the grace of our great God, we can grow to be like Christ and take our cues from the P31 woman. She was a woman who took her commitments seriously and sought out how she can best glorify God and honor her husband. An important aspect of this book is - how George continues to come alongside her single sisters who are reading this book. We don't have to be married to learn how to be a godly woman. We can be women after God's own heart, who make a profound influence in the lives of our families and friends. This is a must read, friends!

Elizabeth George uses verse 10 of Proverbs and uses each line so that the reader has an example on how to implement the scripture into her life. This is an enlightening novel about becoming a virtuous woman and a Godly woman all the while having the scripture as a guide. I really liked how the author laid it out for me as a reader to easily follow along. If you want a great nonfiction, Christian read, I would recommend this one.

I knew I would love this book even before I read it because I love Elizabeth George - and everything she writes! Beautiful In God's Eyes is a study on how to be a woman who is truly beautiful - not on the outside, but on the inside, in God's eyes. She breaks down Proverbs to give us a picture of what qualities this woman should have and how we can apply them to our own lives. Traits include character, list, diligence, mercy, discipline, faith, and more. This is a wonderful book for any Christian woman.

This was a great book on Proverbs 31. It was encouraging and insightful while also convicting. This book would make a great gift for the women in your life.

This book offers a bible study on the proverbs 31 woman. The great thing about this book, and what makes it unique, is that it brings the perfect woman in todays image. Perfect is a big word, but everyone is trying to be better and do better, for her family, husband and household. This book offers a great and biblical standard for todays women.

I loved reading this book. Elizabeth George blends together some of her personal testimony, gems from Israel that help us to understand the text of Proverbs 31 and practical successful suggestions to better equip us to prioritise the Lord and our husbands and family within our daily lives and behaviours/actions that should support these priorities. A book that will need to be read more than once.

Beautiful in GOD's Eyes is a smart book. It is about becoming the beautiful woman GOD wants you to be as he outlined in Proverbs 31. He had the mother of the King when he was younger described to him what a beautiful woman should be and what have her like GOD's beautiful woman is:

I picked up this book because fascinated by its wonderful cover and I admit that reading it has been a great pleasure.

Who is a good and first of all beautiful woman for God? Someone wise, wealth, someone responsible of the good administration of money in a family and someone who pay attention to her life and the one of her dear ones.
She won't speak a lot but she will act more; she will be a so-called good woman giving with her actions good example to her community, friends and family. This book wants to encourage you of living a good life following Christian principles and adding religion at your existence and at your daily life.

I highly suggest this book to all women!

What does it mean to be beautiful? Our culture defines beauty in many different ways and it can be very confusing. In Beautiful in God’s Eyes, Elizabeth George goes through God’s definition of beauty as described in Proverbs 31. Using anecdotes and illustrations, the author writes so gracefully about concrete examples, it feels like you are sitting down with her and having a conversation with a great mentor. I would highly recommend this book to women, both married and single. It is not one to be missed! I received a digital copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for my honest review.

I both loved and hated this book. I loved it because Elizabeth George clearly laid out what a "proverbs 31" woman should look like. I hated it for the same reason. Studying the Proverbs 31 woman exposed some real weaknesses in my life as a wife and mother that I did not care to change. It is not comfortable when the Holy Spirit reveals areas that you are weak in. However, Elizabeth George has accomplished what a good Christian writer should - to create a book in line with the teachings of God's word that, through application and God's help, changes the reader.

I now have a more clear vision of what I want to be as a wife and mother thanks to the encouragement through these pages.

I absolutely love Elizabeth George. I have learned from her and studied under her (via her books) for years. "A Woman After God's Own Heart" shaped my life and my walk with God, so I was absolutely thrilled to dig into "Beautiful in God's Eyes." This book spoke to my heart from start to finish. I loved every page and will read it over and over as I have done with her other books. Elizabeth George has such a beautiful way of teaching, edifying and instructing. This book is such a huge blessing to me and will bless many others. Highly recommend!
