First off this is my first by Beverley Kendall and I really enjoyed it. Second I will be adding the rest of the series to my TBR list. I love a good college romance. And this one had the angst and the chemistry I was hoping for. I love when enemies become lovers. And this one was just that. The pull between Olivia and Zach was undeniable. Both really strong characters. The added couple of speed bumps through the book just showed how strong the love is between them. I really can't wait to find the time to dive into more.

Only for You is an exceptional story and not what I was expecting. I almost did not request it because the characters were young, college students, but I have thoroughly enjoyed Ms. Kendall’s historical romances, so I decided to give OfY a try. It is worth your time to read. It is mostly light hearted, has normal drama and family situations which make it all the more appealing and realistic.

Olivia and Zach attended high school together and, absolutely, were not friends. They were pretty much non-speaking acquaintances. Olivia felt from the very first time she saw Zach in high school that something was causing him to not like her. She was attracted to him, he to her, but nothing ever came of it because of ‘something’ that was between them. Olivia just did not understand.

Off to college, they not only end up at the same college, but in the same French class. Her roommate is BFFs with his roommate. Does not bode well for Friday night get togethers.

Zach comes from a football family. Olivia comes from a helicopter stage mom. He is a quarterback on the team. She still loves to act. Zach stays with football into college. Olivia does theater on the side even in college.

Both take a French class due to the trip to Paris as part of the class. It becomes the trip of dreams for both of them. But, on returning to home, all the family/friend drama that is in their lives comes to tear them apart.

Truly, this is a great book to pick up for a romantic read. I am looking forward to the rest of the series. Thank you Net Galley for sharing this book in exchange for an honest review.

When I saw Only You up for request on NetGalley, I immediately requested it. I love Beverley Kendall's new adult romances, and I couldn't wait to devour it. Then, I realized I had already read this one. It was no problem because I loved it the first time.

Only For You was just as good the second time. Beverley Kendall's writing reminded me of what it felt like to be in college. The newness of everything. The excitement of new love. The crazy thought processes of young adults. I loved it all, and I couldn't get enough of it!

Only For You was a pleasure to read the first time, and it was just as amazing the second time. It's made me want to continue to re-read the entire series.

This story is very well written and it surprised me a lot. I like the words and story just flows through the pages. The characters are well described and the feel real and like you know them. The story line is great and the plot is surprising.
Olivia starts in college and thinks she escaped her problems from the past. But fate has another thought about that. In her new class she sees Zach who she have had a crush on for some time. Zachery has never been interested in her, so she thinks. Zachery has always wanted Olivia but he thinks he cannot have her. They have to travel to Paris on a school trip and here everything collides. They have to struggle but will their relationship survive all the problems and issues with the past and family?

It is a sweet and romantic read. I would have loved if it was not that short. The ending would be a lot better if it had more to it. I like very much that is it written in dual POV. That way you get to know both thoughts and feelings of the main characters.

This book takes you through a lot of emotions. I made me laugh sometimes. It has lots of emotional ups and downs. There is drama, passion, chemistry, some hot scenes but most of all a lot of romance.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
