I love it when I start a book and I'm immediately filled with emotion. It's like it simmers under my skin and I feel so pulled in and then I get consumed. That's exactly what this story did. I loved every single second! Fantastic second chance romance!

I adored the main characters! Gabe and Stephanie where wonderfully written. I loved learning about their past as they come together in the present. I hung on every word and couldn't wait for the details to unfold. There was so much emotion and vulnerability between them. There was also this electric chemistry that was just amazing. Gabe and Steph had such a strong connection, I could literally feel the pull they had on one another. The build was amazing as everything developed. I love their passion and chemistry. And the heat. Oh my with the heat. This was a seriously hot read!

The writing was excellent. I loved the details and depth of the characters. Gabe was so sweet and sincere and had a great inner strength as he tried to move forward with his life. Even though it was hard for him, I loved his struggle and what he was going through to heal. Just to add, this story had me at single father, he was so freaking sweet with his daughter! I loved Stephanie too. I loved her fight to guard her heart as she dealt with hurt from her past. Every single moment they opened up and shared just made me melt and my heart ache for them as I rooted for their HEA.

I absolutely loved how the secondary characters played out in this. I felt like they were an important part of the story and I like how they were woven in throughout the book. I really liked the updates on the previous couple from A SEAL’s Courage and what was set up for the next book in A SEAL’s Honor.

This story was sweet and romantic and there are wonderful moments of fun and playfulness mixed in. The sexy times are worth mentioning again because wow. Hot! It's light in the drama department but there are some tension and turmoil mixed in that made my heart ache.

It was just a beautiful story about two people reconnected again and falling in love. It’s about moving on, healing and loving and second chances. Wonderful read!

I found A Seal’s Strength by J.M. to be a sweet story about a second chance at love for two lost and broken people.

Stephanie Mason knows heartbreak. Even so, she is willing to put her heart on the line again to find someone to share her life with. So she lets her fiends talk her into signing up to a dating service with military men, but the last man she expected to be paired with is the one man that got away and broke her heart.

Seal Gabe Donovan lost so much the last few years. The hardest being the loss of his wife. Three years later the loss is not any easier and the thought of dating more than he can bear. But he is determined to do right by his daughter, who wants him to stop being so sad. So he agrees to sign up for a dating service and get his toes wet slowly. But seeing the woman that still haunts his thoughts may be too much for him.

Steph and Gabe have history. They were once friends and lovers that shared everything together. But when tragedy strikes, Gabe walks away without explanation and Steph is left heartbroken. Gabe never forgot Steph, but when unexpected responsibilities come his way, his life led him away from her. Though he has no regrets, he loved his wife and his daughter is his world, but can he find a way to move forward and open his heart?

When Steph and Gabe are paired up on the dating site, neither is prepared to face each other, but the pull is still there between them. Can they have a casual and light relationship without losing their hearts? I loved seeing Steph and Gabe spend time together and reconnecting. Some of their discussions were hard, with so much left unsaid previously, but they were so good together.

I loved Gabe and Steph. Both were dealing with issues that were hard to let go, but slowly they found themselves connecting. But was it too late for them or could they let love in again?

A Seal’s Strength was a quick, sexy and heartwarming read. I loved Gabe and Steph. Both were strong and caring., but dealing with heartbreak and loss in different ways. Finding each other again was not planned, but could they make it work this time? A really sweet and charming story.

A SEAL’s Strength has everything I look for in a book: a strong plot, well written characters, chemistry, and so much emotion! I was mesmerized by this book from the beginning and had a hard time putting it down.

After meeting Trent in book one, I was worried I would be disappointed with Gabe. Trent is a tough act to follow. Gabe was amazing! He truly touched my heart. He’s a huge (deadly SEAL) teddy bear! Steph seemed a bit shallow to me in the first book, but she turned out to be much more complex than I expected.

I have to admit that I’m a sucker for a second chance romance, and A SEAL’s Strength exceeded my expectations. The writing was excellent and has me itching for more!

A SEAL's Strength is a fantastic second chance story. I just loved these characters and the honest and real way they connected with other. The story is amazing and wonderfully written with a nice easy pace to the story.

Gabriel Donovan is a former SEAL who is working hard to raise his young daughter after his wife's death. It's been three years and his daughter and sister have decided enough is enough and signed him up on a dating website. Now he's about to meet his date and can't believe his eyes. Before him is Krista Nelson, a woman he was close to in college and has never been able to forget. This reunion could go terribly bad or it could be the best thing to ever happen!!

I highly recommend this one for everyone's must read list!

What a surprise to find the man the dating service has matched you with is one with whom you've got a lot of history including a broken heart. Gabriel and Stephanie both have been through quite a bit starting even before their relationship ended. Thrust into a situation he wasn't prepared for after his parent's death, Gabe made a bad choice walking away from Steph. When the mating service they both signed up for brings them face to face again, they decided to indulge in a weekend of sex and move on. You can guess how well the moving on part goes.

I liked this book. The characters were real and interesting. The story kept me involved. It was fun watching these two fight their inevitable happily ever after. Gabe's daughter and sister added to the story.

I hadn't read the first book, A SEAL's Courage, but this book worked excellently as a stand alone. I did see enough of Trent and Lauren to be curious about their story.

I took this book because I've read a lot of Stewart's others and knew it would be enjoyable. I was right.

My favorite moments are the interactions of a father with the love of his life, his daughter. He encourages her, he listens to her and he becomes a better person because of her. Ms. Stewart can seduce with the best of them, but her stories are more than just wickedly tempting, they spark emotion and humor.

This is book two of the Military Match series, and this book was just as good as the first book. Gabe was a Navy Seal who lost his leg around the same time his wife was diagnosed with cancer. Now three years later he is learning to live again without his wife and raise his little girl.

When he joins a dating service he wasn't expecting being setup with an old college girlfriend. When they meet up they decide to catch up on old times and still remember the spark they always had. They both come with their own sets of baggage and letting them go is the toughest for these two. Lots of chemistry, heat, and sizzle!

Gabriel Donovan has spent the last three years mourning the loss of his wife and the life they had, but now it's time for him to finally close the chapter on that story, and start a new one, per his ten year old daughters request. After finishing A SEAL's Courage I couldn't wait to dive into the next one and meet another one of Ms. Stewart's sexy SEAL's, and I have to say that Mr. Donovan did not disappoint. Nothing steals your heart quite like a sexy alpha to the bone SEAL who also happens to be a single father, watching him, Stephanie, and his daughter's beautiful story unfold was such a rewarding and heartwarming experience for me. It had moments that had me near tears, moments that had my heart rejoicing, and moments that me fanning my face...the man sure know's how to turn up the heat!! I highly recommend you pick this one up, these wonderfully characters are sure to steal your heart!

Romantic story of how fate reunites two lost souls. Gab and Steph have major relationship issues developed from past choices. They approach their reunion as a chance to hook up. Nevertheless, fate brings them face-to-face with the realization that their hearts want more.
One thing I felt story was missing was more interaction with Gab's daughter. She is mentioned as being important but if he truly wants Steph in his life, he should have tried to bring the two females in his life together.

Three years after losing his wife, Gabriel Donovan is ready to date again. Caving to his friends and sister's insistence, he allows to be set up through a military match making company owned by one of his mechanic's wife. Not entirely sure he can even really put himself out there again, Gabe is more focused on raising his sweet daughter and moving on from his wife's memory. But when his date happens to be a blast from his past that he never expected and one of his biggest regrets? Well, things definitely change.
Right then he only knew two things for sure. She was still gorgeous, and her smile still lit a flame in his gut.

Eleven years ago Steph and Gabe had a friends with benefits arrangement in college that soon began to turn into something much deeper for Steph. She didn't expect to fall for the man, but then life happened, and he joined the military and she never saw him again. After a string of failed relationships and the catastrophic end to her most recent, Steph is gun shy to give things a shot with the first man to break her heart. But the chemistry between them is too fiery and the connection to deep to simply walk away.

I adored these two together. There was something so genuine and real about this couple's second chance. Sometimes you meet the one you're destined to be with at the wrong time and then life happens. Sometimes you get a second chance to make a mistake right again. They didn't spend years pining after each other, but you can definitely see just how strong their connection is. I love how the author was able to develop their relationship without diminishing Gabe's deceased wife.

If second chance romance is your jam, this is definitely worth checking out. It's quick paced and reads quick. I finished in one swoony sitting and definitely found myself a new author to read.

Her fear of rejection made me sad. I liked her and wanted her to take a chance. She deserves to be loved. Gabriel has built a wall around his heart. He can't get pass his loss. He needs Stephanie. He never got over this special woman. She was his best friend and his lover. I wanted him to put aside his pain and start a new life with her. He has the opportunity to have a new family. The chemistry between Gabe and Steph is intense. I liked their powerful emotional connection. This drew me into their story. It was so nice to catch up with characters that I knew and liked from the first book.. JM Stewart has written a powerful story of second chances and getting a HEA. She has a talent for making her characters powerful and compelling. I can't wait for the next book in this series.

Another exceptional Seal story. Good writing and dialogue.

I read this book and it seemed like I read it before. Not sure if its a reissue but I totally had read it before. The whole book. And while I usually love this authors work, I did not like this story. Mostly it had to do with how Gabe treated Stephanie in the past.. Gabe is a widower, his wife Julia died 3 years before.and he has a daughter who is 10. His daughter and sister have insisted he date and so a friends wife fixes him up with a friend of hers who also is a member of the wifes dating service.

Stephanie is a lawyer who has a lot of one nighters but she is lonely and wants more and thats where Gabe comes in. 11 years before they were close friends with benefits until his parents died and he dumps her, never talks to her again and ends up married with a child on the way.

Its hard to find romance and fall in love with a character who can treat a woman he called a friend so shabbily. He chose Julia over Stephanie and he married and had a child with her. It was hard to come back and think their sex scenes were hot and find him sexy when he chose another woman over Steph.

Just no way can I see him as a leading man. While the author writes extremely well. I do not like stories like this where the hero is such a jerk.

Stephanie is a lawyer and she's tired of one night stands. She was engaged but her fiancé left her at the church. Gabe is a former SEAL and a widower with a ten year old little girl. He hasn't dated in three years and his sister convinces him to try Military Match. He goes on a blind date and it's Stephanie, the girl he left behind in college, his best friend and lover. He had to quit when his parents were killed and raise his sister. But she was never far from his mind.
Stephanie never forgot Gabe, he was the only man she really loved. They decide to spend the weekend together and then go on with their lives. But neither can so they try a month. Steph is afraid Gabe will never get over his wife and she wants to be loved. Gabe is not sure he can give her what she wants but he wants to try. Will she give him a chance and try to love him without it being returned?
Great story. The sex so hot you'll need a cold shower. Second chance at love. Beautiful woman and a sexy SEAL. This is my first book by this author but it surely won't be my last.
