**I listened to the audiobook from the library**

Twisted Truths was a great wrap up to the Blood Brothers series by Zanetti.

It was nice to see Denver get his own HEA and to see them finally take down the evil Dr Madison and Sheriff Elton Cobb. Now all the brothers in the Sin series and this series can live their lives without the worry of Dr. Madison coming back into their lives like a bad nightmare.

Rebecca Zanetti absolutely excels at writing amazing romantic suspense novels. I am constantly alternating between swooning and grasping onto the sides of my seat.

I loved this book as well as the series. I am so sad that it is over.
In this final book of the trilogy, the author kept the same energy, the same excitement and the romantic intensity we have come to associate with these brothers. Noni draws Denver out to help her rescue her sister's baby who has been kidnapped by Dr. Madison's henchmen, Sheriff Cobb.

Dr. Madison proved to be a formidable and ruthless opponent. She would use anyone and anything to regain control of "her creations". It just seems unimaginable that such a brilliant mind is also so devoid of any real human emotion. A true sociopath with such much military power and might at her disposal. Without giving anything away, Denver brings his whole arsenal to this epic battle, mainly all the brothers from the prior books. So its a reunion as the Blood Brothers combine their wits and resources with Gray Brothers for a final confrontation with the institution that took young boys and tried to create super soldiers.

This book was all I had hoped it would be. Denver and Noni had heat. Their chemistry was just as powerful as the prior books in this series. The writing kept me engaged from start to finish and I hope we come back to this storyline in the future.

Good, but not great. I hate it when drugs come into play in my books, so when it took that turn I was pretty much done. The writing was also a bit melodramatic and the beginning really dragged and felt repetitive. I kept going because I was intrigued, hence the "good" in my first sentence. But all in all I was disappointed.

I have been a fan of Rebecca Zanetti's for years and her romantic suspense books are always a must read for me. The Lethal Lies series is a spin off of my favorite series of hers and so far I am loving it. Strong female characters are one thing that always clicks with me and Zanetti never disappoints.

THE DELIGHT

Twisted Truths is the third and final book in the Blood Brothers series. Maybe the final book in this world. I hope not as it is bittersweet to have this world end. It's what got me to loving Rebecca Zanetti!

REVIEW

Last book. Blood Brothers. These men have been through everything and now it's time to wrap it all up. This is not a standalone story. Every book builds on the last and characters from the Sin Brothers series are integrated with this one. You can't understand this story without having read the series.

Denver is the last brother - Ryker and Heath - but he isn't last in my book. He's after Dr. Madison and Sheriff Cobb, when a woman from his past shows up. Hurt and angry, he has some explaining to do. To protect Noni, he left her behind with a wrong name and no idea of where he had gone. Noni innocently put a picture on the internet and he had to leave before something bad happens to both of them.

Noni doesn't know what happened or what she did to drive Denver away, but she is spitting mad to hide the heart break. She is out to save her goddaughter and Denver is going to help even if he doesn't want too.

The action is well balanced with character interactions and growth. The story is wrapping up a world and has a lot to do before the end. The author doesn't let that distract us from what the story at heart is about...the love of two people. Throw in a baby in a dangerous alpha's arms and you have a story that will keep your heart in chains.

This was a wonderful ending to a series of books that left me gasping, crying, laughing and loving. Each book is one you don't want to put down. This one was no different. It will draw you in and spit you out at the end. Better than when you started it.

We finally got the conclusion to the Blood Brothers trilogy and really, to the Sin Brothers trilogy as well. We knew Denver was pining for the one who got away basically since Book 1, and when he finds out that woman has plastered his picture all over the internet in an attempt to find him, he has no choice but to go to her. He still has feelings for her, but even more urgently she’s endangered him and his brothers. Noni only put the picture up because she was desperate. Her niece was kidnapped, and with the child’s mother dead Noni, and Denver, are the baby’s only hope. Denver and Noni have to get the baby back from the gang who is holding her as well as avoid getting trapped by Sheriff Cobb and Dr. Madison.

I still love the brother dynamic. The absolute best parts of this book are Ryker and Heath watching out for Denver and showing him that they love him no matter what. And this book has some really lovely scenes with the Gray brothers (I am now and forever Team Jory!), who consider everyone they love to be part of their extended family. I just adore that aspect of these books. I also liked the fast-paced action. This story is seriously nonstop, and it made me want to keep turning pages.

I definitely feel like this series ran out of momentum a bit with each book, though. The pattern just didn’t change. Denver makes The Rules for Safety. Noni refuses to follow Denver’s rules. There’s an attack by the bad guys (probably because of Noni’s reckless flaunting of the rules) and superhero antics by Denver. They have sex so emotionally stunted Denver can express how he feels with his penis. Then the cycle repeats. It’s the same pattern that was in the other books, too. I also didn’t feel like I understood Noni. She never really talks about herself–she’s just there to be the desperate caregiver searching for the baby and to be a source of angst and boners for Denver. What does Noni care about or want besides the baby and Denver? Why are she and Denver in love? None of that is filled out, just assumed.

I’m happy the story arcs are resolved, and I’m glad the villains got their comeuppance, but even there I was left a bit disappointed. Dr. Madison and Sheriff Cobb were more nuanced in past books, but here I felt they were pretty one-dimensionally “crazy.” It was fine I guess, just a missed opportunity to add some depth. (Plus, what happened to the young brothers we met at the end of the Sin Brothers series? We didn’t heard a peep from them here. Even though I didn’t exactly love this book, I’m kind of curious to see if Zanetti might continue their thread in the future.)

If you’ve read other books in the Sin Brothers or Blood Brothers series, you could certainly jump in with this book, but don’t bother with this one if you’re new to the world or if you didn’t enjoy any of the other books.

Twisted Truths is the third and final book in the Blood Bothers series. Even though I'm sad to see it end, this book was the perfect farewell. Rebecca gave it her all, action and suspense with love and yummy steaminess. Lover's second chance has never been better. I highly recommend joining Denver and Noni's journey to end their evil.

Holy smokes what an action packed, intense, twisted and yet sweet book!! 5 stars, in my opinion, isn't enough! I was totally captivated from the beginning!

This is book #3 and the final book in the Blood Brothers series. I'm sad to see it end, but what an amazing ending!!

Noni has plastered a picture of her and Denver all over the internet. She's trying desperately to find him because her niece has been kidnapped. He eventually finds her and he's not happy about it. She has stirred up so much and put her life, as well as his in grave danger.

Can they stay ahead of everyone trying to kill them? Will they get to her niece in time? Such an amazing story!!

Twisted Truths is the final book in Rebecca Zanetti's Blood Brothers series and it's definitely the one I was most excited about. Poor Denver has been pining for Noni since the beginning of the trilogy, he met her and fell in love before the series started but broke both of their hearts by walking away. He knows he left to protect her but she has no idea why he up and left without even saying goodbye. Noni never thought she'd see Denver again but her niece has been kidnapped and she needs help desperately, desperately enough that she's willing to ask the man who broke her heart for help.

There is no way Denver can turn down Noni's request for help, especially now that she's put a target on her back by very publicly searching for him on the internet. Even if he wasn't still in love with her he wouldn't be able to leave a young baby in the hands of a brutal gang though. Denver will do whatever it takes to keep Noni safe and to bring Talia home but he's going to have to work fast if he wants to do it before Maddison and Cobb catch up with them both.

I already loved Denver but it was so great to see him finally fighting for his chance at happiness. He's always been willing to risk his life so that his brothers will survive but once he starting to see the kind of future he could have with Noni it gave him even more strength for the battle. Denver has always been the silent one of the group and Noni used to let him get away with keeping secrets the first time they dated but now she's not willing to let him get off so easily and I loved how she kept pushing him for answers. They make such a fab couple, the chemistry between them was intense from the beginning but there was so much more to their relationship than just sex.

Dr Madison has been the evil at the centre of both the Sin Brothers and Blood Brothers series so I can't tell you how satisfying it was to finally have everything come to a head. This is a battle Denver, Heath and Ryker can't win alone though and that means bringing in the Dean brothers too which made it even better. This was a fantastic conclusion to both of these series, I'm going to miss these characters but at the same time I'm glad they're going to get to enjoy their HEAs now without the constant threat of Madison and her soldiers hanging over their heads.

Noni desperately turns to Denver for help when her soon-to-be adopted daughter goes missing, knowing he is her best shot at getting her baby back. What she didn't count on was their thinly banked feelings roaring to the surface as they fought for their lives in an effort to save her daughter and to free Denver from the dangerous past that has plagued him and his "blood brothers" since childhood. Does Noni have what it takes to fight by Denver's side to save her adopted baby girl? When his past finally catches up with him, can Denver finally put it to rest and hope for a future with Noni?

Thoughts: Passion, intrigue, desire, danger, mystery, survival -- Twisted Truths has it all. Combined with a number of fun secondary characters, readers will be hooked by the action-packed plot and intense feelings between Denver and Noni. The deep bond between Denver and his "brothers" is incredibly heartwarming, even if they are bonded together through killing bad people in an effort to defend themselves and those they love. I did not read the first two books in the series, but it did not detract from me enjoying this story at all. Readers of the series will enjoy seeing the progression of characters from earlier in the series, and new readers will be looking to get their hands on those first two books -- I know I will!

This series by one of my favorite authors has finally come to an end, one that has been a long time coming in my opinion because the bad guys were beyond the typical villains and went well into the world of sadistic sociopaths that just needed to be put down. There have been some serious twists and turns along the way between this series and its preceding series (Sin Brothers), and while there are a few little hints of the paranormal it remains largely a contemporary paramilitary story revolving around the bonds of brotherhood that are formed in blood and death from a early age. I enjoyed Denver and Noni’s story immensely even as there were moments when I wanted to slap the shit out of Denver for being a bonehead. It’s obvious to anyone that has ever seen an alpha operator like Denver that his feelings for Noni run deep and true and leave him terrified for her safety and unwilling to risk her by attempting to build a life with her while he is still hunted. Noni on the other hand was one of my favorite heroines in this series, willing to risk everything including her own life in order to rescue the child that was taken from her and put into a dangerous situation. When they began working together it became a no-contest situation and I had no doubt that they would defeat their enemies, even if Denver had his doubts and fears. Noni was a fascinating mix of strength and vulnerability, but I knew right away that she was the perfect match for Denver and would give him the balance he needed in his life. Denver was the kind of guy that would sometimes make me wonder if all men are as stupid as the things that come out of their mouths make them sound idiotic, but I knew all his posturing and worrying came from a place of love for Noni and his brothers so I tried to give him a bit of slack. The passion between Noni and Denver was just as intense as all the brothers in the past novels, but even more quickly taken to the level of deep emotions since they’d already had a relationship and were more than halfway in love with one another, which made the heat off-the-charts hot. There were some terrifying moments and some revelations in this series that left me wondering how I could have missed that twist barreling down on me all this time, but that just made it that much more fun. I was sad to see the series end, but maybe in the future some of the younger brothers might get their own series, regardless I know I will enjoy anything that Ms. Zanetti sends my way. Thanks for the fun ride Rebecca!

I did not realize that this was the second book in a spin-off series. I don't think I will get to this book in awhile if I do. Thank you for the opportunity to read this novel.

Wow!

What a ride...

I mean the other two books had me so enthralled once I started reading that I could not put them down and this one was no different.

Denver and Noni...phew!

Although I loved this book there were points at which I almost rolled my eyes too much and I didn't have that in the other two books.

It was enjoyable but at the end of the book or leading up to it mainly, it got in a way..boring and stale. Ugh..I hate saying that but it's true at least for me.

I liked the chemistry between Denver and Noni as well but when you compare it to the other brothers it is lacking.

Overall, it's a enjoyable series if you like suspense and mystery but also with a hint of romance but also scifi too.

Totally an author out of left field for me but I did enjoy her books, it's always nice to try new things!

I loved this book! It was sad to know that it’s the last of the Blood Brother series, but it ended with a bang. The intense story started quickly and just kept going. I was so glad to read Denver’s story and find out that Noni was good enough for him. The tense action gave me butterflies and I had to get up and walk around a few times before diving right back in. In between fighting their arch-enemies, their romance was super sexy and heartbreakingly tender – especially when you add in all the brothers and friends. I hated to see it end.

Another great ending to a great series. Am I sad that this is the last that we will see all the brothers? You betcha.
From Forgotten Sins to Twisted Truths all I wanted for these brothers and their families was a happy ending. And I got it. Not just a happy ending but a satisfying end to one of the most hated villain's that Rebecca has ever written.

An all points bulletin in the social media world on an ex-lover who is hiding from the law is probably not the best move. Noni is the woman whom Denver left behind. Afraid of bringing her into his world of evading a corrupt cop and covert military labs, Denver gave his left his heart behind when he slipped away from her. Noni's broken heart doesn't stop her from reaching out to him in her time of need. Too bad she ends up causing more problems for both of them.

The plot of this story is built upon one major screw up after another. Seriously, I don't think Noni could have done anything more to sabotage Denver and his brothers' lives. She is a walking screw up. She is the Steve Erkel from Family Matters asking "Did I do that?" She is clueless and desperate. I'm mixed about this story because the plot and conflicts only made sense because Noni is a TSTL character. I am not a fan of TSTL characters. She is a sweet gal. I just wish Denver could have placed her in a safe room, left her there so that she'd cause the least amount of damage. Unfortunately, I think there are more people like Noni in real life than not. Denver is a much beleaguered male. He can't help where he finds love and that his lover has less value to add than his sister in laws. Bless her heart. Noni does have a good heart and that is her redeeming factor.

The story moves at a nice clip as the best laid plans get blown up and go sideways. It's nice to see authors who write messed up scenes and characters who are far from perfect who suffer loss. This gives the story a realism to it even when the reader is backseat driving and yelling instructions at the bumbling characters. It becomes more engaging. Ms. Zanetti creates a nice balance to pull the reader in without alienating them in disgust at the idiot decisions.

I have been waiting to see what happened to Denver and why he didn't have a woman. This third book closes the loop. The lovers reunited plot device worked well and gives more insight and depth to Denver's character. This paranormal romance is recommended to readers who enjoy lovers reunited themes with a tarnished white knight riding in to save a damsel in distress.

I really like Rebecca Zanetti's work. This series was full of adventure and suspense, albeit a little far-fetched at times. Denver and Noni had serious chemistry and their single-minded devotion to rescuing the baby was admirable.

When Noni’s infant niece is kidnapped by a gang led by the baby’s birth father, Noni goes online to track down her ex-boyfriend Denver Jones, a talented detective who Noni hopes can rescue her niece. What Noni doesn’t realize is that Denver is in hiding himself, from the evil doctor who genetically engineered Denver and his brothers to have superior intellect and strength, and that by posting their photos online, Noni has put herself in danger from the doctor and her henchman.

Twisted Truths is the final book in a series, and I would highly recommend reading the other books first. Zanetti does a fairly good job at reviewing the backstory, but as a new reader, it felt like an info dump, and it took me a while to warm up to the characters. In particular, the beginning of Noni and Denver’s romance happened in a previous book, so without that history, Noni’s desperate search for him felt a bit obsessive (why couldn’t she just hire another detective?). There were also multiple references to how different he’d presented himself to her previously, and without the context of just the version of Denver she had fallen in love with, I couldn’t understand how she could be just as much in love with such a drastically different man.

The suspense part was a bit easier to follow than the romance. The evil doctor wants Denver back to join her genetically engineered army, her henchman wants to kill Denver and his brothers for having killed his brother years ago, and Denver and his brothers want to kill them both. The doctor was a bit of a cartoon villain, which made it difficult to take her seriously, despite how dangerous Denver and his brothers said she was. At one point, she even giggles over having done the dastardly deed of writing on the heroine with black marker — I can understand the violation Noni must have felt, but that bit of villainy felt more like a high school bully than an evil mastermind.

Her henchman Sheriff Cobb was framed as an evil bully, but I actually felt a bit sympathetic towards him, because his motivation is revenge over his brother’s death in a fire set by Denver and his brothers when they were children. Again, this is a point where having read the earlier books would have helped by giving me a bit more context into Cobb’s villainy. As it was, when Denver taunts him by lying about how much pain Cobb’s brother was in as he died, Denver was the one I found cruel and for a moment, I almost wanted Cobb to win.

As the final book in the series, Twisted Truths brings back the characters from the previous books — Denver’s brothers and the women they love, and another group of genetically engineered brothers whom I believe where the heroes in another series by the same author. These characters come together to help Denver and Noni rescue the baby and end the evil doctor’s master plan. Once I got into the rhythm of the story and got to know the characters a bit better, the story picked up and the action scenes were fun to read. Denver also has to deal with some heavy emotional moments, and I like seeing his brothers coming together to support him. The ending is lovely and heartwarming, featuring somewhat of a family reunion and a promise of Denver and his brothers joining up with the other group of brothers and forming a much larger family. Given the horrific childhood they faced, and the struggle they went through to learn to accept familial love, this felt like a nice and fitting ending to the series.
