Sensational action packed romantic suspense – 5 stars!

The third and final book in the Blood Brothers trilogy, and wow, Rebecca Zanetti has smacked it out of the park with this one! Exciting, intense and action-packed with a gorgeous second-chance romance, this is a wonderful story and a great close for the series – as well as additional closure for the Sin Brothers series (this series is a spin-off from the Sin Brothers, and while you don’t have to have read the Sin Brothers to understand this one, it definitely provides great background. Also be aware that this series contains spoilers for the original). Denver’s story is my favourite in the series, I absolutely loved it!

Denver Jones is the youngest of three blood brothers. The boys met in a group home where they banded together in order to survive a hellish existence, and where they learned that they had been genetically modified to become super soldiers, with enhanced skills and natural abilities. The boys have been on the run since they were teenagers, and have set themselves up as successful investigators. But their primary mission is to hunt down the people responsible for ruining their lives.

In the last two books we have seen Denver’s two older brothers fall in love while Denver has remained quiet, clearly struggling after walking away from the woman he loves, Noni, after a brief relationship a year previously. The last book ended with Noni reaching out to Denver on the internet asking for his help – a situation which put the brothers and herself in immediate danger as their enemies close in, so Denver ran off to save the day. Exciting!

Noni is in the race of her life, trying to find her foster sister’s three month old baby. Noni was made the infant’s guardian after her sister’s death, but the child has been taken by its father – a drugged-up member of a criminal MC, and she is desperate to find her. She doesn’t know a lot about Denver’s background, but she knows that he is an investigator, and though he broke her heart when he unexpectedly left her, she knows that he is her only hope. And when he rocks up on her doorstep all growly and tough, their two worlds are about to collide in ways neither of them could have expected.

OMG, I loved this book! From beginning to end it’s a wild ride of excitement, action and suspense, and I could not put it down! The two action/suspense storylines make this a really exciting read, with so much happening - all of it really full on and continuing to build as the book progresses, and I read frantically, desperate to see how it was all going to play out.

And the love story is gorgeous! The chemistry between Denver and Noni is palpable from the first moment they are together. They clearly both have strong feelings for each other, and the emotion is really beautifully written. And the sexual tension is explosive as their attraction to each other literally sizzles though tension and animosity, mad lust and more.

“What do you want?” She gasped
His eyes deepened. All of those blue flecks commingled into something dark. “Baby, if I answered that, I really would scare you.”

Yes, it’s hot and steamy, and so, so passionate. And the emotional element to the sexy time builds the intensity as all of the feelings Denver and Noni have for each other consume them once again.

“I’ve hurt you enough,” he countered softly.
She moved, turning and straddling him, her thighs outside his hard ones. Atop him, facing him, was exactly where she wanted to be. “Maybe this time I’ll hurt you.”
His chin lifted, and his eyes darkened to a dangerous blue. Intensity, so sharp it hurt to see, swirled there. “You’ve already slayed me through, darlin’.”

And combined with their situation, it makes for a sensational read! It’s definitely not a normal environment for a love story to develop, but despite all that they are faced with, it all feels so natural as they easily fall back together – dealing with their emotions, the intensity of their current predicament, as well as the secrets between them and all of the emotion from the past. It’s a lot, but it’s balanced perfectly, with the story moving at a great pace and the romance standing strong and beautiful in the middle of all of the chaos.

“You’ll never be free of me. I love you, Noni … I’ll protect you ... Love you ... Be whatever you need me to be.”

Denver’s backstory (like his brothers) is tragic, and my heart broke seeing how deeply affected he still is by all that he has been through, the way he has dealt with it, and the impact it has had on his life. We really get to see his vulnerable side, his sweet nature and his need to protect those close to him, and his loyalty and devotion is beautiful! There is so much that he needs to deal with, and this book is a true journey for him in addition to everything else that happens, and I really enjoyed that part of the story.

Of course Ryker and Heath are a big part of the story, and the Dean boys from the Sins Brothers books make an appearance, and I loved seeing them again. The bond that these boys have is beautifully explored, and as much as I love the way they tease and joke with each other, it’s the emotional aspect of their connection is something really special.

“I don’t regret a second. Not one moment of everything we’ve been through. We found one another.”
… “Thank you for being my brothers.”

*sniff*

I loved the way that Zanetti wove these stories together, giving us so much in each book, tying them together in a way that provides depth and plenty of build-up, but it’s never overwhelming. It’s just the right amount of everything, and I loved every single moment of it!

5 stars!

The last and most UNFORGETTABLE story in Rebecca Zanetti's famous Blood Brothers series is BEYOND words people! OMG Denver is one HOT alpha male who takes obeying to a new sizzling level! Denver is not only a mega alpha, he is also a HUGE protector. He takes people under his protection to a new level. And the action...WOW! Denver is SOOOO my #1 hero and alpha in most of Rebecca's books! And Noni, she really reminded me of a stronger, sweeter Pocahontas. She won me over from the moment she decided to rescue her baby niece. I loved her spirit, her sweetness and how she stood up to Denver.

Rebecca Zanetti brings jaw-dropping suspense and heart pounding action to life with Twisted Truths. I dived into Twisted Truths as soon as it hit my kindle and I could not...did not want to stop until the very end and what a way to end such a fantastic series! I am SO excited to see what Miss Zanetti comes up with next!

Twisted Truths gets an UNFORGETTABLE AND CAN I HAVE AN ENCORE PLEASE FIVE SHOOTING STARS!

An absolute heart stopingly exciting end to this series. Rebecca Zanetti is truly a master of romantic suspense.

Denver could be the sweetest, caring man at times, “you’re okay,” Denver said, his breath brushing her temple. “I need to get you into a warm shower, baby.” Sometimes a man just needed his woman, “darn it.”He pivoted and was back in front of her, his fingers spearing through her hair. His mouth descended, and he kissed her deeply..." I liked this book, I decided I want a man like Denver sweet on his girl but tough when he needs to be.

This is the final entry in the Blood Brothers trilogy and I hated to see it end. However, I will say Rebecca Zanetti did a great job in not only ending this trilogy but also using the final chapter to fully link this series with the previous Sin Brothers series as they all reunited. Both series are well worth reading for fans of romantic suspense.
Denver Jones left Noni to protect her over a year ago. However, he never stopped loving her. So when he realizes she is looking for him and that puts her in harms way he steps in to save her. But Noni has her own troubles that she needs Denver's help in solving. Denver and Noni have danger coming at them from all sides and an attraction to one another that cannot be ignored.
Great novel of romantic suspense with plenty of action to keep you reading well past your bed time!

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this novel.

We’re all readers, right? So authors are kind of a big deal to us so when we meet them, there is a certain level of squee/fangirling that goes on. I had the pleasure of attending RT16 where I met SO many others, including Rebecca. For me, she’s on the level of author that I’m lucky if I can come up with something that makes even a mild amount of sense. Most of the time I forget everything about their books and can just come up with babbled nonsense. BUT I actually managed to hold it together long enough to blurt out “I loved the Sin Brothers books, are the brothers getting sequels?” And lo and behold, she understood me and said yes!

So then she brought us the Blood Brothers…sigh! And as much as I loved Ryker and Heath, Den is mine. There is just SO much angsty goodness and torture (both mental and physical) in this book that it must makes my cold little heart so happy-plus there’s hot nookie!! I mean, come on, what else do you need??

Den initially met Noni when working a case in Alaska, but he left her without a word, however when her niece is kidnapped, she knows she needs to find him again. She posts photos and pleas on the internet in order to find him or get his attention, which she does…as well as the attention of Sheriff Cobb and Dr. Madison. NOT good! Cobb still holds a grudge against the men of the Lost Bastards detective agency for the murder of his brother, and Madison wants her test subjects back…but mainly Den. (Might I interject with a big eww!!!!)

Between the gang that has Talia (and is auctioning her on the dark web) and Cobb/Madison, the brothers and their women have their hands full. Fortunately for them they have the assistance of the Dean brothers (Jory!!!!) when the final battle comes. But, who will be left standing?

This book has it ALL-romance, action, suspense, angst, family, hot men with guns…otherwise known as FF’s favorite things in the world! (Okay in books, I can deal without some of those IRL, though the last would be nice….) If for some reason you have been living under a rock somewhere and have not read any of the Sin or Blood Brothers books, you need to one-click the crap out of them and binge!!
Now as an aside to Forever/Grand Central…you really need to push the covers with the hot guys on them, just saying! And thank you, thank you, thank you for allowing me the honor to read this early! (You have NO idea how much I’m enjoying taunting WW with what I know!!)

And Rebecca? We will be seeing you on the 1001 Dark Nights cruise and at RT18 (if you are there), and begging for the younger Dean brothers to get their books, too!!

Desperate to find her kidnapped niece, Noni turns to the one man who can find her. Denver Jones broke Noni’s heart and she vowed to never see or speak to him again, but with Talia in mortal danger, Noni will swallow her pride and beg Denver to help her. This is more a romance than a suspense novel, the hero pushed away the woman he loved to keep her safe from the people he had to deal with in his work, but now rushed back to her side when her life and the life of her niece are in jeopardy

OMG, what a satisfying ending to one of my favourite series. I've been following the Lost Boys (and the Dean brothers) from the beginning and, while sad that it appears to be over - what a fantastic wrap-up.
In my opinion, saving Denver and Noni for last was a stroke of genius, because we've spent the previous books with little peeks into their relationship and the longing and space between them. Having them come back together, Ms Zanetti was able to move their plot line along at a great pace - skipping the intro's and being able to focus on bringing this story to a full conclusion. Amazing. Lots of guest appearances from all our old fave's and action-packed... I really loved this book!!

Love Zanetti! Denver finds No i, the woman he had to leave behind, after she splashes his picture all over the net. She needs his help to recover a kidnapped baby but finds herself on Dr. Madison's radar. Now Denver must save them all. This novel is a strong conclusion to the series. Steamy and perfect for fans of Zanetti!

Noni makes her own lotions and candles and sells them. Her foster sister dies and she gets the baby but the father, a gang member, kidnaps the baby. Denver is a genetic super soldier and owns a business with his brothers. They are hunted by a doctor who created them and sheriff who wants them dead. Noni posts Denver's picture all over the internet looking for him and the doctor and sheriff finds them too..
Denver is the silent type and likes to study people. He fell in love with Noni but left her to keep her safe. Now that there is a baby missing, he'll do anything to find her and keep her and his brothers safe.
This book was awesome. I couldn't put it down. It will keep you in suspense until the very end. Lots of action, sex, and secrets that'll keep you on the edge of your seat. I know this is short but I didn't want to give too much away. This is the last book in the series.

Rebecca Zanetti ends her Blood Brothers Trilogy with this amazing book that is loaded for action, romance and thrills.

Twisted Truths is Denver's story. Denver and Noni were one of those couples that had a lot of obstacles to overcome. It didn't come easy let me tell you. Denver seemed determined to sacrifice himself for everyone. If that's what it took for his family to be safe from the evil Dr. Madison and her goon Sheriff Cobb. Noni was much stronger than Denver gave her credit. She wanted to be with Denver and she needed his help to save an innocent baby. How would it all play out in the end ? Rebecca Zanetti kept their happy ending in doubt until the end.

This book was a great read from beginning to end. It had everything. Action, romance, intrigue and raw emotions. Rebecca Zanetti delivered a fantastic ending that left me craving more of this awesome series.
