Kiersten Abbott receives her new job by default. Sexy Cole Harrington, president and founder of Harrington Enterprises, let his first assistant go because he wanted her to attend a conference on the same weekend as her wedding. As second assistant, Kiersten’s work is cut out for her as he looks at her and says, “Let’s hope you last longer than the last three.” Little did Kiersten know her luck would change for the good when she wins the lottery along with her friends. Just to add some retribution for the long hours and no appreciation she receives from her new boss, she decides to make his life miserable by creating the Termination Pool at work to see how long it takes for her to get fired.

Cole Harrington is wondering what is wrong with his usually competent new assistant and learns about the office pool to see how long it will take him to fire her. No one outsmarts the boss so he joins the pool and plays along with his “sexier than hell” assistant.

The sparks fly between Kiersten and Cole and the lengths she goes to get herself fired are hilarious and very creative. This is a laugh-out-loud romance that is sexy and sweet. Ms. Archer creates a new and refreshing plot that made this old romance reader long for more!

I went into this book, not familiar with the author or the story. I took a chance and am so glad that I did!!! Funny, flirty, and fantastic! Can't wait to try more from this author! My favorite line, "Tacos". One of the funniest scenes I have ever read!!

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC from Netgalley.

I have to admit that the description caught my eye from the very first. How intriguing to win the lotto and not quit your job and then try to piss your boss off to make him fire you?? You have to love that. As much as the description hooked me in, the rest of the book left a little to be desired. I'm not saying it was awful. It wasn't. But the editing was very bad and distracting. I hate when that happens. I thought a little more background of the characters would've helped the story, too. If you're looking for something that reads quickly and can get past the editing errors, then I believe you'll enjoy this story. Again, it wasn't awful!

Warning, make sure you have an empty bladder while reading 69 Million Things I Hate About You. I laughed so hard. The scene with Kiersten and Cole's mother was best of all. The tension between Cole and Kiersten was just icing on the cake.

I loved it!! OMG! I spent most of the time laughing out loud like a lunatic while reading this book. My daughter thought I lost my mind...lol Cole certainly met his match with Kierstin. He was afraid of love and understandably so. But it was plain to see that Keirstin was going to be the one for him. I loved all the ways Kierstin dealt with him and put things in motion upon her quest to get fired.
Very funny and romantic...loved it!! I received this book from Netgalley in exchange for my honest opinion.

Wildly funny and overall amazing book! I love everything about this is book, great characters, excellent plot line and enough unpredictability that you are devouring each page this author so skillfully wrote! Every time he called Kiersten a different name I was cracking up. I was just waiting for her to give him an ear full but how she got her revenge was awesome! There are so many good parts to this book but my favorite was the trip to the Amish farm! I was laughing so hard, tears were rolling down my cheeks. Cole was a great character, from the opening when he was on the treadmill and his overall demands of his assistant and demanding she reschedule her own wedding, he started out as jerk we all want to hate but as the book goes on you see his character grow a heart and start showing his true self and what a sweet transformation it is! Lovely book and it is one you will want to clear your schedule because you have to read this all in one sitting, it is just that good!

This is not your everyday CEO-assistant love story, folks! This is a fresh take on the premise, and one that had me laughing out loud. I don't know how Ms. Archer came up with this story idea, but she has struck gold, in my opinion. Boss man Cole is difficult to work for--about as demanding as they get--and his assistant, Kiersten, puts up with it for months on end, basically having no life of her own. Then she wins the lotto, and things take a hilarious turn. Instead of quitting right away, she decides to make Cole's life hell, with one antic after another in an attempt to she what it will take to get fired. He knows she's up to something (though he doesn't know what) and decides to play along to see what it will take to get her to quit. This story idea alone is delightfully different, but this author, who is new to me, pulls if off fantastically. The main and secondary characters are well developed and likeable, and the antics that Cole and Kiersten pull are fun and snort-worthy. The sexual tension is tremendous, and I wasn't even bothered by the slow burn (which I usually get bored with) because I was so immersed in the fun. I live in Texas and seriously needed this laugh after the nightmare that has been Hurricane Harvey. Thank you, Ms. Archer, for this splendid book. I'm so glad to have found a new author to love!

This one was a little let down-I love boss/secretary romances, but this one lacked a real connection between the main characters.

This book was just WOW!! So funny, sexy and sweet. I loved both Kiersten and Cole and wow they have some really great chemistry. This book was super fun and I could not stop laughing. And these two were totally made for the other. I have never read this author before but wow I m so impressed with how much fun this book was.

Kiersten has worked for Cole for 6 months when she wins the lottery and her and her friends form a work pool to see how many things Cole can put up with before firing her. And what a way to go. I LOVED Kiersten she goes totally crazy and Cole totally is her perfect match in that he joins the fun.

So this is the first book by Kira Archer that I have read. I just want to say, that I am so fangirling right now. I loved it. It was such a hilarious book. I am going to look up and read more of her books. Right after I write this review that is. So here we go…..

In this story Kiersten works as an executive assistant to Cole Harrington, CEO of million dollar company and hot as hell. He is also the biggest asshole she has every met. She really does like looking at him, but other than that she hates her job. She is on call 24 x 7 and even lays out his underwear for each day of the week. lol Crazy huh?

Kiersten and her two best friends buy a lotto ticket and everything changes. They each win 69 million dollars. That spells FREEDOM in their books. So instead of quitting she is going to exact her revenge on her boss. In this plot the whole office is pooling together to see how long it takes for her to quit or get fired.

As the calander fills with bets, Cole knows that something is a foot. So Cole decides to declare war. With both Kiersten and Cole at war with each other, the game gets deeper. Who will break first? Will Cole fire her? Will Kiersten quit? Or will someone’s heart get broken?

This book was so entertaining. It had me cracking up. The shinaigans that Kiersten pulls had me in stitches. I was so hooked I could not put the book down. I had to know what stunt she would pull next and how Cole would handle it. The whole time I was just thinking, have sex already. lol I mean the chemistry was so strong and they were tittering on the edge. Back and Forth. Back and Forth. You will be yelling at the book for them to just screw and get it over with.

I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a little fun to brighten your day. You will be hooked from the first page. It is a new approach to the romance world. With such a creative plot. The characters are warm, inviting and outright fun. This book should be calling to you right now. So go out and pick it up or download it.

Warning this book not suitable for teens or small children.

This book was fun and original. It’s not often that an author can put a new spin on a billionaire/employee romance, but this one does it. Kiersten Abbott has won the lottery and is planning to quit her job as administrative assistant to demanding, but hot billionaire Cole Harrington. But she decides to stay on and try to get him to fire her instead of quitting. Soon all her co-workers have formed a pool predicting which day he’ll fire her.

Cole is just realizing how much he needs his sexy and ultra-competent AA who does everything for him from picking out his wardrobe to researching possible mergers for his company. I don’t understand a successful businessman who would have one, single person doing all these various things for him instead of having her focus just on the business decisions.

Cole learns of the company-wide pool and vows not to fire Kiersten no matter what outrageous thing she does. And, of course, the two find it difficult to fight off their mutual attraction.

The result is a funny, sexy, and entertaining romance. The title doesn’t really make much sense since the 69 million refers to the amount of money she wins, not what she hates about him, but just go with it.

I was given a free ARC of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

This books was great! Although the premise is way out there it was fun to read about the relationship between Kiersten and Cole. The things that Kiersten came up with to try to win the bet was fun to read and I actually laughed out loud at certain points.

Warning: I'm about to fangirl.

I took the night off last night to just sit and read. It has been a long summer, and a tumultuous last few weeks. I've been mentally and emotionally dragging. I'm super grateful I got this as an ARC to read. This book was everything I didn't realize I needed. I laughed so much I had to tell my family what I was reading--now they all want to read it too. I have so many favorite moments, and scenes where I laughed reading them and recounting them. I could go on and on.

Kira Archer is my new hero. I fell in love with every character in this book from our leads to their supporting cast (and dude, lemme tell you, just remember SpeakEasy for one of the funniest set of sequences I've experienced outside of a movie) Cole and Kiersten are everything romance should be with a cherry on top. The perfect escape, ripe with laughter, and a fresh spin on a challenging world.

It's available in October, run, I say run, and pre-order this.

LOVED this book! It made me smile and laugh, while pulling for the characters and feeling totally invested in their story. I love Kiersten and her creative approach to revenge - I'm sure that anyone who has ever working for a overbearing taskmaster can sympathize with her and has probably fantasied about some of her antics. Cole is the overbearing taskmaster and all around pompous ass who doesn't know what to do when Kiersten starts her antics. Some of Kiersten's antics were inspired and creative.

If, as they say, revenge is a dish best served cold, than this novel is positively delicious! It's the perfect read when you want a lighter story that will make you laugh out loud. Fans of the genre will love this novel and should put it at the top of their TBR list. The author is on my must read authors' list.

Cole Harrington and Kiersten Abbott.

It was good. It had me laughing a few time. There is potential for a few more story-lines from extra characters.

A big thank you to NetGalley for the ARC for my honest review. I am reviewing voluntarily. I rate this book a 4.5. I loved it!!! First time reading this author. I laughed and laughed. Had a bad day? Read this for a pick me up-unless you too can be lucky enough to win the lotto. This is a great romantic comedy. I think almost all romance readers would enjoy. It's a quick dun read with smart strong characters. Give it a go and let me know. Enjoy
