The wintersea by Michael Meyerhofer.
The Godsfall Trilogy Book 2.
A brief but bloody civil war has ended with the Knighthood in tatters. The dead haunt Stillhammer and choke the waters surrounding the Lotus Isles. At great cost, Rowen and his companions healed the breach in the Dragonward, but too late, they learn that a potent enemy has already slipped through. Nekiel, the one foe even Fâyu Jinn failed to slay, is on the move.
A good read. A believable story. I do like this series. 4*.

I really thought I would enjoy this more. It was a good book and had a plot line that would keep you intrigued. However, with it flipping between so many characters it started to get annoying and confusing. Then because it was switching so frequently it actually started making me not want to finish it. I did not read the first one which I kind of wish I had, though I think I was able to follow along well enough.

I personally didn't enjoy it but that has to do with my preference of not switching between character point of views at least not more then one or two. I do think there are many who will enjoy it.
