DCI Erika Foster is back. She and her colleague DI Kate Moss have been called to the shoreline of the Thames where a suitcase containing a man's dismembered body has been discovered. A couple of weeks earlier another suitcase containing the body of a woman had been found. The two bodies are identified but there is no clue to their killer. Another fantastic read from the Erika Foster series which finds Erika dealing with betrayal from a colleague, the breakdown of her relationship and an abduction. This series just gets better and better.

Thanks to Netgalley, Bookouture and Robert Bryndza for the opportunity to read and review this book.

Thank You Netgalley and Robert Bryndza and Bookouture for accepted for me having the chance to complete until now the DCI Erika Foster Series.

Ah I can't believe this is the last one so far of Erika Foster Series and I have to wait a long time for the next book of the serie.
It was amazing novel, good suspense, there were parts blown away...just not expected the end part ! Do not trust someone once it kills someone for the first time, even if it was for love...DCI Erika has to struggle to see who actually killed a couple of druggies who were found dead inside of a suitcase...all cut in pieces. What Erika plan when her commander, Marsh's twin daughter is kidnapped...what are the consequences if she can't find on time !
I recommend to read this serie once again, truly someone in crime fiction literature should be look after and receive a huge spotlight in book industry ! 5 stars

Thrilling, engaging and exciting! Those are the three best adjectives I could think of to describe this page turning read.

I have read enough detective crime books to know what appeals to my prerequisite of the ultimate puzzle solver. Erika Foster is not one of these. Finding the body of a dismembered corpse that washed on shore was an immediate attention buzzer. The maze of drug abuse and dealers was twisted nicely as were the characters involved. Max is a killer whose past made him the ruthless murderer he was. Nina was a naive teen so in love with Max that the saying "Love is Blind" more than describes. Byndza created a cast of evil that was the driving force of this story. Erika Foster came across as a sad women who struggled with her job and her relationships. Just was not my idea of a MAIN character. "A copy of this book was provided to me by Bookouture via NetGalley with no requirement for a review. I voluntarily read and the comments here are my honest opinion."

Wowza. Another fantastic gripping book from Robert. It is so good to have this detective back in my life. She brings a sense of calmness, cleverness, and female power to a book which lacks in others. She is such a great character I cannot help but love her work methods and how she values her friendship.

This book had lots of gore perfect for Roberts books. Yet again he has managed to come up with a fresh idea for a novel which I haven't read before. It all seems very current to what has been in the news. I liked to seperate plot story link which later interlinked.

Another fantastic book packed with gore and several twists and turns i haven't seen coming (through the last 5!)

Cannot wait for the next one. Nothing but praise for Robert and his writing.

Wow number 5 in the series and it just gets better & better. Erika is the same dedicated officer that does not suffer fools or authority gladly and the plot is a rollercoaster ride from beginning to end
Read in a day, I didn't want to put it down. Great addition to a great series

Having avidly read the others in this series, I fell upon this latest instalment with great relish and it did not disappoint at all - if anything, the series goes from strength to strength. If you haven't read any yet, where have you been????

Now I'm sure it wont come as a big surprise to many of you but I just happen to be a huge fan of Robert Bryndza’s and the Erika Foster series, so when I realised Cold Blood was available on NetGalley I dropped everything to start reading it and I mean everything, even the current book I was reading so apologises to Harlan Coben, but a sacrifice had to be made! Oh my god Cold Blood is one twisted tale, it's gruesome, it's dark, all the things I love a crime thriller to be and more.

Erika Foster is one of my favourite fictional detectives she's ballsy and opinionated, but as the series has evolved so has her character, in Cold Blood Erika’s personal life is a shambles, so she concentrates her efforts on her job, but she really has her work cut out in Cold Blood her most gristly case yet, When a battered suitcase containing the dismembered body of a young man washes up on the shore of the river Thames in the opening chapter you just know your in for a hell of a ride and the author doesn't disappoint fast paced and twisted this is the perfect crime book. I'm in awe of the authors ability to come up with such original crimes but I can't help wondering if his vivid imagination keeps him awake at night!

I'm not going to go into plot details just read the book you won't be disappointed, but what I will say Robert Bryndza has created some blood curdling characters, the word psychopath springs to mind, each crime that's committed just adds to the nail biting suspense, as Cold Blood reached it searing conclusion I felt physical drained so intense was the plot.

I could have devoured Cold Blood in one sitting but rather like a fine wine I choose to savour it, immersing myself in the atmosphere, characters and settings. Every time Robert Bryndza brings out a new book I always start by saying it's his best book yet and guess what? This is definitely the best book yet! It's dark, gruesome and a throughly gripping read. Robert Bryndza never fails to amaze me, he is such a gifted writer and I love the fact that he is able to maintain such a high standard of writing whilst keeping the series highly original in content. So my love affair with the Erika Foster series continues and I would sale my kidney to find out what's going to happen to Erika Foster next. Would I recommend Cold Blood? It's a "thousand" hell yes's and if you haven't read this series yet you really need to.

Detective Erika Foster struggled with the lock on a suitcase that had been washed up on the shores of the river Thames. Inside was the dismembered body of a young man. A young woman's body has been had been found in an identical suitcase two weeks ago. Erika realises she's dealing with a serial killer. As the investigation makes progress, Erika is the victim of a brutal attack. Then the twin daughters of her colleague, Commander Marsh, are abducted. Can Erika get the twins back safely?

Robert Bryndza has once again written a fantastic, page turning, gripping, tense, action packed book. His Detective Erika Foster series just gets better and better. There is so much going on in this book and I did not want to put it down. I like the way he builds the main characters up from book to book. The plot line is believable and I found myself on the edge of my seat a few times. I don't know how Robert Bryndza is going to top this book but I'm sure he will. I keep saying this his his best Erika Foster book and this one certainly is. This book could be read as a standalone but I do recommend you read them all in order.

I would like to thank NetGalley, Bookouture and the author Robert Bryndza for my ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you to Netgalley, the Publishers Bookouture and the author for this review copy given in exchange for an honest review. Also thanks to Kim from Bookouture for giving me the opportunity to be part of this blog blitz for this fantastic book!

This is the 5th book in the Erika Foster series. Whilst it can be read as a standalone, it does make sense to read the other books in order to understand the stories of the characters.

A suitcase is washed up on the banks of the River Thames in London. It contains the dismembered remains of a man. Whilst investigating who this man is and what happened to him, Erika and her team find another link from a few weeks before of a woman found dead in another suitcase. It would seem that Erika is on the case of a serial killer. As more bodies are found, the twin daughters of Commander Paul Marsh are kidnapped. Are the cases all linked?

I was so excited to receive this book. I absolutely LOVE Robert Bryndza’s writing and the Erika Foster series is probably one of the best female detective series I’ve read…..no wait, not just female, but the best detective series ever! This is going to be a really hard book to review, not because I don’t know what to say about it, but because I don’t want to give anything away.

Wow, wow, wow!! Erika is back with a bang. Her team consists of returning characters from the other books, but she’s working mainly with DI Kate Moss (sorry, just makes me giggle every time!) Peterson is still on sick leave from what happened in the previous book (I’m not going to tell you, if you don’t know you need to read it!) and her relationship with him is hanging by a thread. Whilst the majority of the characters are from all of the other books, you never get bored by them. They are all given a new spin in every story and you look at them all differently every time.

Whilst we have Erika’s story, we also have the story of a young girl called Nina. The story for Nina begins when she is a young girl, and carries on through from Nina’s perspective to present day. The stories run wonderfully together and come together in an unexpected way. Robert writes with plenty of action, a whole load of gruesome and a little bit of sex! You get into each character’s story right from the beginning and the interest doesn’t let up until last word of the last page.

It is full of the usual twists and turns that you expect from this author, and as usual I didn’t guess any of them. I’ve heard a few people say that Erika deserves a happy ending! Not yet though eh?! Hopefully lots more books left to come because I honestly don’t know what I would do without my Erika Foster fix!

Five +++ Stars!!

I am always excited to read the next Erika Foster book and this was just as brilliant as the last ones. A brilliantly engaging story with the well written, multi layered characters i know and love. I enjoyed the way different plots and characters were all woven together as the story progressed towards it's ending.

Another brilliant book from Robert Bryndza, once again we hit the ground running with lots of action and gruesome scenes. I love how the characters are developing but felt very sorry for Erica in this book - I so want her to have a happy ever after.

2 dismembered bodies are found in suitcases on the banks of the Thames, Erica links the two murders and has some great returning characters on her team tracking down their identities. There are lots of gruesome scenes and some shocks in the story line which I thoroughly enjoyed! I thought Erica was at a very low point in this book and am hoping things in her personal life turn round and look up for her in the next book.

Cold Blood is the Fifth book in the Detective Erika Foster series has always I couldn't wait to get my teeth into it. Wondering what Robert is going to bring us next. I am happy to report that Mr Bryndza
has totally smashed it yet again….jesus can this man write!!This series just gets better and better and I have to say this is my favourite one yet!

The author always gives us something different in each one and he also keeps the characters fresh and real I just never get bored. This one is so much more gritter too.

Like in very book in this series Robert grabs you right from the start and in Cold Blood I was shocked has Erika when a suitcase with a body of a young man washes up to shore on the river thames Erika having worked on cases and never seeing anything like this before. When another suitcase turns up with woman. Working out the link between the two bodies can she track down the killer before and save two innocent children before it's too late?

OMG what a story…. you seriously need to read this one. I devoured this in one sitting, It is certainly one pulse racing, nail biting, gritty read.

With chapters alternating between Erika and the killer and it woven together at end with a shocking ending….Christ I thought my heart was going to explode.

I am loving the character build up with Erika in each novel we are always given that little bit more but in this story we are given a lot more background information. She is very head strong and determined and dedicated to her job. I love the relationship between her and DI Moss he does make me smile.

Cold Blood played heavily on my emotions to with the Character Nina. Robert has wrote some truly shocking and horrific scenes where I could not help but real for her.

There is nothing not to like about this book or series it is full of twists and turns and OMG moments and will definitely keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. This is one powerful story that will shock you to the core.

I cannot wait to see what Robert has in store for us next. This is a must read for crime fans which I highly recommend giving it 5 massive gold stars.
