I know that this is the third book in the series but I haven't read any of the other books in the series as this is my first book from this author.
I thought that the book starts off with an interesting premise albeit predictable. The characters seemed interesting enough and they appeared to have good chemistry. I thought that the author portrayed Marco's feelings about the accident that he and Ryan were in well. The guilt did seem to be eating him alive. The only character I can say that I truly I liked was Ryan and he isn't in much of the book. I enjoyed his perspective on life and his views on the accident. It didn't feel as if he and his sister were siblings though. There was something off about their relationship that made it feel more like a friendship than a familial relationship. I didn't like the main the characters all that much. They were bland and it felt as if I had seen them before in other books that are New Adult.
It felt like there was quite a bit going on with no set up and then with little development. It was hard to sympathize with what the characters were going through when I don't feel like the author gave enough background to give the amount of depth needed. I wish that the author would have focused on one plot point so that it was more developed.

Unfortunately, I did not enjoy this book the way I hoped . Thank you for the chance to try a new to me Author.

This was a emotional book. I would have enjoyed it more had the Author not gone into some ridiculous scenarios, which honestly didn't have to go there.
Marco was still feeling guilty for something tgat happened a couple ofvyears before and has to deal with consequences. The situation with Ryan and his struggles were sad, but he was strong. Then there is Kat, she was no wilting flower, she was a strong woman and I respected her.

Marco Adamo has finally returned home from his 4 years in the armed forces. Penance for him after a car accident, in which his was driving, left his best friend minus one leg. Marco meets Kit, a new employeeat the family company that Marco's brother runs. .Kit doesn't realize that, not only is Marco the co-owner of the company she loves to work for but, he is also the reason that her brother is now in a wheelchair. This book has just the right amount of drama, angst, heart-rending scenes, steamy romance and, forever love to keep you fascinated to the end!

This is the third book in this series by this author. This is the first book by this author that I've read and it definitely wasn't disappointed. I loved the characters, the chemistry between was solid and real. This is a fantastic story and I'll definitely be reading the others in this series. I can't wait to read more from this author in the future.
Highly recommended
I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book

I was grateful to receive a free copy of Trust in Me: Fight For Me. This had the potential to be a great book, and I really enjoyed the beginning of the book. The chemistry between Marco and Kat was also very tangible.
However, this book quickly took a turn for over the top, unrealistic drama with Kat having a dangerous dad and being abducted with Marco saving the day, Had the author, Jessica Linden just stayed on task with some of the more realistic themes such as Marco's dad being arrested for drug trafficking and almost destroying the family enterprise and the impact on his family, and Kat's abuse from a previous relationship, and spoiler alert, the link between Kat's brother and Marco (which was ingenious), this would have made for a fantastic book.
The book was well written, and there were some really good parts, but the over the top drama really didn't do it for me.

This was the first book by this author I've read and I was not disappointed!
My heart broke for Marco and Ryan; what they went through as young stupid kids that left them facing consequences for the rest of their life. The guilt Marco dealt with every day was intense, realistic and overwhelming. The struggles that Ryan dealt with every day were realistic and intense but showed how strong he could be.
I appreciated Marco's immediate need to help Kat and the attraction between the two. She was strong and determined, especially once she realized who Marco really was. I liked that she didn't simply back down and allow her physical attraction to take over.

This book started out really promising, but ultimately there was just way too much baggage for one book. The main characters were so messed up, it was crazy. I like realistic characters, don't get me wrong, but they each had multiple issues going on at once. Maybe my mistake was reading this one while on vacation, but it's just way too angst for me. The hero is decent but a bit of a pushover. The heroine has serious anxiety issues, with anger management problems on the side. Both had legit reasons for their issues, but the author needed to pick one or two things to overcome and let the rest go.

This is a book you won’t want to put down till you get everything out of this fantastic story. The author has done amazing job with this book and I would highly recommend this author to anyone as she really is brilliant at what she does and this story shows you why she that good. Would recommend

Good book. Second in the series and this is Kat and Marco's book.
Four years ago Marco enlisted in the Army and was all but disowned by his father leaving his younger brother, Tony, to help run the company. But Marco knew if he didn't his life would only go down hill.
Kat has moved back from Florida and she and her brother have been trying to make it work. Since he was hurt and she was all but killed, she has been trying to make ends meet. She is working for Tony at Adamo now.
Marco is back and while he intends to go see his brother he first stopped an bought a truck to keep from running his family ragged, or so he thinks! On his way to Adamo though he runs into a beautiful woman who's car has broken down. Marco has to stop.
What neither of them know may just be bigger than what he is facing with his family!
I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

A must read. Marco comes home to help his family after his father was arrested. He helps a women in distress along the road. Kat falls for him not realizing he was the one, that cause the accident that paralyzed her brother when he was younger. Then danger comes knocking.

Wow, Kat and Marco have so many connections and they didn't even know. I'd like to think that this means it was inevitable that they would end up meeting and falling in love. Although they had little time to truly get to know each other with all the drama going on in both of their lives. Good addition to the Fight for Me, series. Trust is a necessary need for these two.
