Absolutely loved this book! This is such an entertaining story of the four St. Claire sisters: Anna, Elizabeth, Victoria, and Mary. They are being sponsored by their cousin, a scottish duke, whom they've yet to meet, as they debut into London society and onto the marriage mart. The duke, who cannot attend, sends two brawny scots in
his absence to oversee and protect his female cousins and there begin the entanglements. The tale has a bevy of colorful characters who elicit smart and funny dialog, the plot is interesting, and I read it from start to finish as I couldn't tear myself from it. I highly recommend this this book to readers of romance who enjoy romance, kilts, brogue, and humor with a dose of heat with their hea!

I've read a number of Sabrina York's historical romances but I hadn't tried out any of the Untamed Highlander series. While there are 3 already in the series, you don't need to have read them. Other couples are mentioned here and there but it doesn't seem pivotal to the story. In The Highlander Is All That, there are actually two love stories going on. The story centers around 4 sisters and mainly on the 2 older sisters Anne and Elizabeth. Baron Bower and Hamish have been sent by their cousin to escort and protect the girls during the season. These Scotsmen are just what you want them to be. strapping, a little rough around the edges, and fun loving. Ranald (Bower) and Hamish each have unique characters and they are both enjoyable throughout the story. I was a little disappointed in Elizabeth's character who seemed a bit silly and without much substance though.

The Highlander Is All That is my first book to have read by Sabrina York and it certainly won't be my last!!!
This wonderful story of four sisters attending their first season in London looking to find a husband under the patronage of their cousin the Duke of Caithness was a very funny and entertaining read. It's focused around Elizabeth and Hamish a friend of the Duke who has been sent in his stead with another scotsman Ranald who is a Lord to protect the ladies while attending the many parties and balls that they get invited to. The two Scots are mostly frowned upon by much of the Ton thinking that they are savage barbarians which leads Hamish and Ranald to cause quite a stir amongst the ladies.
Elizabeth is a lady and Hamish has no title but they fall in love anyway knowing that socially they are not suited, so try as they might to stay away from each other they just cant stop it from happening. In the background of their story we also see Elizabeth's sisters Anne, Mary and Victoria also fall for men that ladies of their social standing shouldn't fall for without permission of the Duke.
The story has a great plotline with lots of humor from their Maiden Aunt Esmerelda and some exciting fisticuffs and scandal with a chase across the country and a kidnapping to add to the drama. This book has me gripped from the start and made my heart beat a little faster from all the hot and fiery passion going on between each couple, it was breathtaking. It was enough to make a girl swoon!
I totally loved this author's style of writing and her magical way of making you care about her characters was so exhilarating. I cant wait to read more from this truly talented author.
A brilliant 5 Stars!

Edited to include the correct review.
I really fell in love with this book. In terms of construction I really liked that It did not just focus on Hamish and Elizabeth but also Anna and Baron of Bower and even the rest of the St. Clair sisters. It worked out really well to have a single story line that co-mingled so many characters. It was full of laughter, love, scandal, evil smelly men and desire. Hamish quickly became one of my favourite people and the author made it seem like the reader was among friends. I do wish there was a bit more at the end, mostly because I did not want it to end but also because I think a little more would have made it magical.

YAY! Hamish gets his own story. I have been begging for this story since the second book in the series. Fanastic story and great characters. You really get a two-fer in this book (really two major romances and two much smaller ones). Hamish and Elizabeth, Ranald and Anne, two couples who live life to the fullest and love just as hard. The best part of the book – lots of dialog – some funny, some sad but all engaging. Highlanders, what are you to do with them? Anything your heart desires!

I love how the men and women of Noble Passions are part of the story.

I loved this book! There is witty dialogue, sexy Scots and an emotional roller coaster for Elizabeth and Hamish. Elizabeth St. Claire dreads the Season having to deal with arrogant and sometimes smelly lords all vieing for her hand. She feels nothing for any of them. No man stirs her passion until two Scotsman arrive to act as their guardians on behalf of the duke who could not attend the Season himself. Elizabeth is immediately taken with Hamish and he with her.

This book has it all--drama, misunderstandings, love scenes, and banter between a number of characters. Ms. York is a talented author who knows how to keep the reader engaged in the story. The plot moved along at a good pace and I couldn't wait to see if Elizabeth and Hamish would finally get their happy endings. If you enjoy Regency romances with a dash of Scots, you'll love this book.

A historical romance involving four sisters and a a Pair of steamy hot Scots.
The St. Clair sisters have gotten a chance at a season when the Duke that inherited their Father's title made arrangements for them. As his wife was expecting he sent a pair of emissaries to oversee the process.
The oldest Ann get a second chance at romance with Baron Gunn, eventually overcoming being gun shy after being burnt by a Scot who made unkept promises,
Elizabeth is very drawn to Hamish at first sight...but misunderstandings and a persistent suitor work against the couple.
Mary is already in love with Jamieson, unsuitable because he is one of their servants, But there is no way Mary will change her mind.
Victoria is in love with Catherine's brother Peter, a reformed rake and gambler still working to regain his reputation.
There is humor, angst, elopement to Gretna Green, balls, suitors to make one's skin crawl, abductions and some very steamy love making scenes.
I requested and received a NetGalley copy to peruse to my delight.
If you like your historicals with heat and humor...do not miss this one!

Hamish is a man who defends himself, “that is no’ true. Scotsmen are the most devoted lovers!” Elizabeth is a curious one, "did Hamish wear anything under his kilt? She would have to be sure to ask." Not only do we get to see Hamish and Elizabeth we get to see Anne and Ranald so like a two for one book, and Ranald is just as passionate as Hamish is with his woman, “well, hell, woman,” he barked. “Why did you no’ say something sooner?” Then he whipped her up into his arms, carried her across the room, and dropped her onto the bed." I loved this book, and I loved the Scottish meapn in this book.

Sabrina York has hit another one out of the park with The Highlander Is All That. I'm giving this book 5 stars, only because I can't give it 6. Ms York has delivered a well-written book. Her characters are truly amazing in this book. Kudos to Ms York for the characters and dialog in this fun book. Buckle your seat belts for the rollercoaster ride that is Elizabeth and Hamish's story. There is plenty of drama, action, suspense and sizzle that will hold readers hostage to their e-readers. As an added bonus, you also get the mini stories of Elizabeth's sisters woven into this story. I loved this book from cover to cover and look forward to my next read by the talented Sabrina York. The Highlander Is All That is book 3.5 of the Untamed Highlanders Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

I voluntarily read an Advance Reader Copy of this book that I received from NetGalley.

Totally fun and descriptive. Characters were engaging, even if the storyline was a bit over the top (really the sisters were all married, pregnant a bit too fast to be that noticeable, etc). But isn't this what this genre does for its readers, gives a happy escape? Highly recommend and as a warning you won't stop at just one of her books!

I was pleasantly surprised with this read. It was engaging and emotional as I turned the pages. I laughed, I cried and wanted to go and smack a few of the characters to get them to go the way I thought they should.
This was almost 3 books in one. The way each character intertwined with the others made for a wonderful story line with no breaks. I really don't think this one could have been more than one as the characters were so close.

So many love stories in this book it's hard to keep them all straight but I loved it. I loved seeing old characters and seeing new relationships unfold.

Sabrina York is an mazing writer. She mostly writes novella sized books at around 200 pages but she writes HOT and wonderful stories. This is part of series but it easily stands alone. I have loved this series but now I feel like the author is reaching and it would better to start a brand new series.

This story is about a group of cousins to the duke. They need to get married and the duke wants to sponsor him but with pregnant wife he cannot some. So he sends two of his best friends to asist his cousins. And this story tells the romance of the two men and the two sisters.

I really was expecting less story and more sex which is how the authors stories go but this book really made me wait and that built up the attraction while I read this story. While I mostly loved this story, I found Hamish silly on several accounts. One is he feels unworthy of the heroine, Elizabeth because he does not have money to have a wife and family. But Elizabeth doesn't understand and I didn't either.

Aside from that I really enjoyed the story and characters.. Its a sweet and sexy story and I really enjoyed it.

LOVED this book! It's another sexy romance with a Scottish Highlander written as only the Queen of Hotness herself can write. I loved the characters and the way the author immersed me in their story and the time period. Anytime a woman is feeling unappreciated or having poor options, all we need to do is to read one of these books and see what it's really like to have no options.

There's just something about the author's Highlanders that reaches right out of the pages to grab my attention and hold it until the very last page.

Fans of the genre will love this book. While this is part of a series, this is a stand alone novel, however, it's so good that you really owe it to yourself to read them all. The author is on my must read authors' list.
