This is a great daily devotional for young women. It can even be shared between mothers and daughters to create discussion. It is a good and simple beginning in its format to help girls develop their faith, This book can be started any time of year with a good number system of days 1 - 365 instead of being dated and having people feel behind before they have even started. This book will surely be an inspiration to many young women and their faith journey.

I have spent the past few months reading this book with my almost 8 year old, and there are parts of this book that I love and others that I find downright confusing. I do really like the overall layout of the book-a short scripture passage, a discussion, and then a prayer. The devotionals are short enough to really hold her attention, even at the end of a long day, and the discussion portions often provoked deeper questions from her and conversations between the two of us.

However, I found some of the scripture choices to be, well, odd. And, the scripture selections didn't seem to follow any real pattern or timeline, which sometimes confused my daughter.

Wonderful guided devotionals giving us inspiration and some answers. It is nice to have these wonderful little lessons and thought provoking items helping us lead our daily lessons.

365 Encouraging Verses of the Bible for Girls is a devotional marketed for preteen girls (grades 4-6, approximate ages 8-12). I happen to have a 10 year old daughter and a 12 year old daughter, so this devotional was perfect for them. I appreciated that the devotional is divided by numbers 1-365 instead of by date, so you can start on day 1 without being in the wrong month. There are a large range of topics and verses in the devotional. Each day includes a Scripture and then a brief devotional thought geared toward girls in an easy-to-read style. This book is perfect for a mom to read with her daughters each night and is also easy enough for a girl to read daily on her own. Highly recommended!

Geared towards pre-teen girls, this is great devotional. It’s dated days one to 365 as opposed to January 1st to December 31st which I like.
Each day begins with a verse, a short devotional then a prayer. This is great for teaching and instilling faith or quiet time in young girls. This doesn’t require a large portion of time however the content can allow for deeper conversations.
Young girls have a lot of negative and discouragement coming their way so this is a great resource for speaking truth into their hearts.

I have a little sister and I do tend to speak to younger girls on social media so this book was perfect when I needed or wanted to share a quick scripture with them. I would read a page to them and then we would discuss it. This comes in handy when doing a Bible study with younger girls or just when you need to send a text message to one.

This is a devotional that will meet girls where they are, and tell them about the Gospel. It is filled with many verses and devotional thoughts, designed to reach girls ages 8-12. While it is a foundation of learning about the Lord's character, His love, and our trusting Him, my one concern would be how best to utilize this devotion in the life of a more mature pre-teen. Otherwise, it is a great daily devotion that will encourage many in coming to our Lord Jesus Christ. This is a devotion that will help girls to draw near to Jesus. At this age, any act of drawing near to the Lord is a big deal and should be seen as such. A daily devotion is the best gift we can give our daughters, nieces, and friends.

I loved reading 365 Encouraging Verses for Girls with my daughter each night. It gave us a chance to focus on the attributes of God and focus our prayer time together. I look forward to purchasing this book for her for Christmas.
