‘3-Minute Devotions for the Workplace’ is exactly what I expected of it—short devotional content that revolves around the current day worker. Some of the days felt more like they were a balm of platitudes, runny mashed potatoes instead of a hearty meat diet, but that does not negate their validity. This book is exactly the kind of short uplift most of Corporate America needs on a daily basis—short enough to keep the failing attention spans and long enough to provide a shot of espresso in many caffeine-neglected days.

I don’t always get a chance to have a full quiet time before heading out to work. The 3-minute Devotions for the Workplace allows me to take 3 minutes to prepare my heart and mind for what God has for me on those days. The devotions start with a Scripture Verse and then a short devotional with a prayer at the end. This would be a perfect gift for someone who just got a new job.

I was able to read 3 Minute Devotions for The Workplace for free from Netgalley, the publisher and the author for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This book is mainly for the office worker who needs encouragement to rely on God's plan for our life. With the few changes the book provides it will help many become better employees. Once you have read the book you will be amazed at how many prayers and scriptures are related to out day to day activities at work.

For this book you will only need three minutes:
1 minute to Reflect
1 minute to Encouragement
1 minute to Pray

Three Minute Devotions for the Workplace by Pamela McQuade. I downloaded this because I felt like I could do anything in three minutes. And we most of us need devotions for the Workplace :-). The goal of the three minute demo devotion is to give you one minute to reflect on God's word, one minute to read a real life application and encouragement, and your last minute is to pray. Now the scripture she gives you obviously is not going to take a minute to read; it only takes a few seconds but the key is to reflect on it and that's where you can listen to how God is speaking to you. Again for the last minute she gives you a prayer but it's not going to take three minutes this is where you can also add your own prayers for God.
If you had been struggling to find time for devotion I think this is a great place to start. I found many of the devotions very applicable for a work situation. Also found it very interesting how many scriptures could be associated with our work lives.
