After the Winter is a terrific romance/suspense. I thoroughly enjoyed the plot, characters and setting. The author is new to me and I will be reading more of her books.

A pleasurable read packed full of action right up to the end. A lovely escape for a couple of hours. The setting in a Canadian winter is really atmospheric and the descriptions are really good.
