Well written book with great storyline and plot. A sweet book that has great romance. The story is true to it's time period and the language is also. I like when an author has made research about the time period they want to write the story in.

I love the couples journey towards their HEA. There is drama, family issues, passion, emotions and some twists. Instant attraction. I like the supporting characters. I like stories where the POV changes.

Nice chemistry and passion. I like the main characters and how they develop. The story flows nicely and it is very captivating from first to last chapter.
A new author for me but she surprised me with her writing. Absolutely not the last book I will read from her.

The author has delivered a story that is worth the read!

This is a mostly clean romance. It had a very handsome Duke. who pretends he is a Baron. Why? Miss Ashford is well aware of her beauty, and dowry, her parents have made it clear that she will marry a highly titled peer, for the votes her husband can give her father in Parliment. I recommend for Young Adults. Clean Romance. Thanks!

The storyline was fun though it felt a little unrealistic. The writing was very comfortable to read. The characters were relatable.

Loved the H, but the h is quite disagreeable throughout most of the book. Even though her behavior is explained, it really doesn't make her likeable, just explains. She is never kind, polite or understanding in any way for most of the story, and that alone is enough to turn me off on the book. It's hard to believe any good man would want such a cranky woman. The ending redeemed her to some degree, but not enough to make up for the hateful behavior.

Logan and Eleanor meet in a rainstorm, thus Logan giving her the moniker of water nymph. Eleanor is not a very nice person, but seems to be that way due to her parents demands. They have huge expectations for her to marry an earl or a duke and nothing less. Logan is a duke but tells Eleanor he is a baronet. She fights their connection for half the book before realizing she is in love with him. Up until that time she had not believed in love.

Logan sees through the facade Eleanor presents to others. Yet, he seems to continually be reminding her of her unkind behavior toward others. Eventually, she begins to want to be a better person. But, just when it appears she has improved, she demands he elope with her instead of going to check on one of his other properties.

A lot of the confusion could have been resolved had Logan told Ellie who he was before leaving, but that confusion is what makes for a good book. Ellie has the normal doubts any young woman would in her situation waiting for her fiance.

This is a good afternoon read with Eleanor being cousins to Laura from the first in the Entangled Nobility series. This can be a stand-alone, but is good in the series, too. Naomi Boom is a developing writer with a lot to offer.

When a duke gets a chance to pursue a lady as someone else, he would be a fool not to take it.
Logan Eastworth, the Tenth Duke of Waking, returns to England to find a woman to marry. When Miss Eleanor Ashford assumes he holds the title of baronet, he does not correct her error. Instead, he plays on her misconception and arranges a house party where he can make her fall for him and not his title. Miss Ashford has been brought up to believe that she will have a marriage of convenience to an earl or higher.
When I started the book I had a preconceived opinion of Eleanor, from the first book in the series, I disliked her basically she acted like a spoilt brat, she thought nothing of saying hurtful things. There is an immediate attraction between Logan & Ellie. Logan sees something in Ellie & values her for herself & Ellie values Logan for himself for himself not his title. Ellie blossoms & becomes a better person, she also learns to love. I also came to like Ellie.
The plot was straight forward & quite amusing, it held my attention throughout, the pace was good & kept me turning the pages. The characters were well developed & had depth. I look forward to more from the author
