This nifty little book of short (one page) daily readings takes a writer on a 365 day journey. I found each entry to contain a snippet of wisdom or a slice of advice to treasure and take with me through my day. I am a writer of both fiction and spiritual/personal growth nonfiction and many of the short essays resonated with me and more importantly, inspired me to continue writing even when my "inner chorus" starts to convince me otherwise.

This is a type of devotional book for writers to use monthly by day so as to get writing inspiration. And for many of us authors who search the internet for writer's quotes to get pumped up for a day or week of writing, this is a great resources.
I'm also a fan of writing quotes with fountain pens and various colored fountain pen inks, so I hope to use this as a resource to write a quote in my daily penmanship practice.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review this book.

I think I misunderstood the audience for whom this book was intended. I expected it to be geared towards all writers, but it seemed more for seasoned authors and writers. I had hoped to use it for journalling and writing prompts, and this will be a great book for some, but did not fit my needs. Thank you for the advanced copy.

If you've ever struggled to write....even to journal....this book will be a great guide! Each day you are given suggestions for concentration, for letting your mind go a little and for remaining mindful. The book also includes wonderful quotes, some of which are certain to find their way into your writing or simply into your life. One of my favorites comes early on:
"Sometimes a change of perspective is all it takes to see the light." - Dan Brown
A wonderful daily reminder not to chain ourselves to our desks in the hopes that inspiration will strike us! A great gift for writers of all kinds.

A wonderful gift for any writer and a resource to keep coming back to.

I really enjoyed this book. There is a page per day telling little stories or tips, then at the bottom is Today's Takeaway. This is a great book to keep you motivated & focusing on the positive aspects of writing every day!

Interesting, and good daily prompts and tips. Would be better as a print book to refer to every day.

I've never seen a book like this before. I like the idea. Sometimes it is so difficult to sit down and write, a daily dose of encouragement/kick-in-the-pants is needed. I really the appreciate the topical index at the back. This allows you to go straight to the current date to begin a mediation or you can look at the topical index for an issue you might be struggling with, such as self-doubt or accountability. I would recommend all writers consider this book.

Daily Writing Resilience offers help to writers of all kind, professional or aspiring bestselling authors.

I wasn't quite sure what was meant by "resilience", so I was curious when starting to read this book. In this case, resilience means the strength to keep on writing even when faced with the struggles writers have to face - criticism, publisher's rejection letters, the uncertainty of whether it's possible to make a living like this - the struggle is endless.

What Bryan E. Robinson offers here as a means to deal with all that are 365 meditations and inspirations for writers. They come in the form of a quote by a writer (and he has picked from a wide range of writers of all kinds), followed by a short passage of what is a mix of advice and thoughtful musings - well, a meditation, I suppose. At the end there's what is called "today's takeaway", which is one sentence that is supposed to make you help cope with the challenges of writing.

I think these meditations serve as a good anchoring point when trying to pull yourself out of a thought-loop, and judging from what he writes about his own struggles, he seems to know what he's writing about. It also manages to bring writing and writers "down to earth" again by the way he puts things.

There's one meditation for each day, so you can just read the one for whatever date it is, or, if you're struggling with something in particular, use the very helpful index at the back, where you can pick inspirations according to topics.

It's not a book that gives you ideas for what you write, but one that helps you write better nonetheless. It looks to be very helpful without being too esoteric or preachy, and should be a helpful tool for writers of all kind.

This book is like a little comfort pillow to keep by your side while you are trying to write. It is packed with great advice and encouragement. Perfect for giving you a lift when you are struggling and letting you know that you are not alone. Great for dipping into when you are having a particularly hard writing session. I liked the variety of the pages and I am sure it will be welcomed by writers everywhere. Many Thanks

This book is great for daily motivation and inspiration. The book starts in January, but of course you can just skip to the current month, or ignore the dates altogether.

I loved the daily quotes and bite-sized chunks of inspirational snippets. They can help you when you feel stuck, worried or just need to come back to center. Reading a daily snippet will only take a few minutes, so this book can easily be incorporated into your daily writing routine.
