Chessie is your everyday next door kind of girl. Nick is her boss and what has been the focus of her desires and a main character in her dreams. These characters were okay. The scenes were hot. I just wanted him to give away a little more than what he did in this story. Chessie feels like it is a one way attraction when it comes to her feelings toward Nick. There should have been a little more of the story on both sides. Just a little rushed for me. Still a fast read and Not too bad.

a good solid hot romance. the story was truly interesting.

This is the first book in this series by this author. This is the first book by this author that I've read. I just couldn't put this book down till I'd finished it. The chemistry between the characters is fab, it simmers nicely throughout the book. This is a fast paced steamy read, which will not take you long to read. This is a fantastic read and I can't wait to read more in this series.

This was a very sexy, fun, entertaining read that made me not want to put it down until I finished it. The story follows two people that have been fighting their attraction for several years, after things change and they are able to get together things just start to get very interesting. Nick is the boss of Chessie and even though he has been attracted to Chessie from the beginning he has had to fight it, now he has a chance to go after everything he has ever wanted and nothing will stand in his way. I liked the characters in this romance. It was a believable romance.

Firstly, I'd like to say I totally love the book cover. It absolutely goes with the book's theme.
In Shameless Surrender, Chessie works for Nick and is completely convinced that didn't even know she exists (her words; not mine). So, when she received an anonymous letter with a single word "TONIGHT" written on it. She was nervous, doubtful and a little bit intrigued as for the identity of the secret stranger, even though her friends (who I love by the way) were sure it was our hero but she didn't believe them as usual. After all searching, it was found out that Nick was responsible for that letter and later for a dinner, dance and a lot of other kinky things.
I really appreciate a hero with common sense to know what he wants and actually takes it.
So, in short words I like Nick and Chessie's relationship. They actually grow in their relationship because they first get to know each other professionally and then, intimately ( something they accomplish greatly). The side characters were great and I love Holland's writing it flowed effortlessly. I'd like to recommend it to all those who love to read about a hero who's clear in his mind about his desires or others, to just give it a try. I'd surely like to read it again after sometime.

I really liked this fast-paced steamy read. Chessie has had a crush on her boss for years and now he is selling the company and will be out of her life forever. Or will he? Chessie and Nick have great chemistry and the story is fun and sexy. I was hooked from beginning to end. A good read.

Sexy, sensual, and intense sex scenes, with a sweet romance in between. I really enjoyed it, though the ending seemed a bit rushed to me.... butt that's just my opinion. Still a very enjoyable, steamy read.

Nick has been hot for Chessie since she started but wouldn't break the rules that you don't get involved with you employees. But know that has changed since he is no longer her boss and he plans to act on it.
This was an exciting easy read with a hot male who like a women's curves.

When I started reading I couldn't put it down I read it in one day.Keep up the good work.This is the first time that I read Jaymie Hollands books,I have to read them all of the books.Chessie is plain and naïve about his world, nothing like the flawless cultured females he knows. Still, no other man has existed for Chessie since she met Nick. All her erotic fantasies revolve around this powerful man and his sexy, commanding voice. You should definitely read it.It's hot and passionet.

2.5-3 stars. I went into this story after reading the blurb expecting one thing, but got something totally different. The writing itself was good, if a bit too over the top for my taste. I never did connect with the characters because their connection evidently began before the story began. It felt like we hurtled headlong into their relationship with no glue to hold them together. The whole plot felt rushed.

2.5 for the story. Wish I could've loved it.
