After a week spent in family reunion hell, Levi Travis is more than ready for a little break. But who knew shifting into a snow leopard and loping around in the woods could turn into such a steamy event? When Levi encounters a cougar shifter in the woods, the attraction is so hot it threatens to shoot off sparks. Levi has fantasized about having a stronger man than him want him, and he's sure the cougar is just such a man. Which is why Levi lets himself get caught, and the intensity of their mating is only equaled by Levi's confusion when the man shifts back into a cougar then turns tail and runs. Lyndon Hines has been running for months. Hunted, taunted, he didn't know what else to do—until he met a man who made him realize that some things were worth fighting for. Two shifters, each a different breed, neither knowing much about their heritage, Levi and Lyndon come together and find the strength to take on the mad man who is out to end Lyndon's life. The book was good. I liked both main characters as they went through the story. Both characters were well written. I enjoyed the plot. I recommend.

I thought the two main characters were sweet and was intrigued by the idea of future books about them and their families.

An interesting look into a sliver of shifters in this world. Two kinds of shifters with don't know much about their own kind due to different circumstances. Finding love when you don't really understand what your instincts are telling you. Great love story, really enjoyed it.

I received a free copy of this via netgalley in exchange for a review.

It was an ok read. Graphic sex scenes, some family conflict, throw some shape shifters in for good measure and you have your typical fluffy quick read. I understand what many people were saying about the editing needing a bit of work but let’s face, do you really pick up a book like this and focus on the grammar?

This is a netgalley review. I wish I could say that I liked it, but when a story isn't really a story there's not much you can do to actually like it. Lyndon has been on the run from an unknown shifter for months. One his most recent attempt to hide he stumbles upon Levi, his mate.

The two of them are attracted to each other at the most primal level. This story is just mostly a one-handed read because the sex scenes are just that hot, but that's all the story has for it because its very much an insta-love/insta-attraction. The whole thing about the mysterious shifter hunting Lyndon is so pointless. It has nothing to do with the rest of the story. It's one of those convenient things just to cause drama and angst. The characters were shallow and underdeveloped and the story held no real plot line. There was maybe a little bit of movement in Levi and Lyndon's relationship, but with the entire world of the story practically non-existent because of all the holes and unestablished details there's nothing to really make this story a story. It's just missing too much.

This sexy and suspenseful paranormal romance gave a great introduction to the world of cat shifters and their hunt for a mate.

Levi is the dutiful son, hosting his family reunion with a smile while he secretly longs for some more personal companionship. Being a larger guy has made it hard for him to find what he needs in a mate and in the bedroom. A chance encounter with a cougar shifter suddenly shows him how great a perfect match this stranger could be. If only he had stuck around to cuddle, maybe he wouldn’t find himself in such a strange predicament – lusting after someone who he doesn’t even know.

Lyndon has been on the run most of his life, dodging a stalker who has been silently escalating his approach. Having lived with abuse for so long, he finds it very hard to accept that he might have something real with the snow leopard shifter he’s smitten with. While they might have reservations about their relationship, everyone around them appears to be significantly more clued in to their mate status. Being accepted as one of Levi’s large family seems so far out of reach for Lyndon that they might just end up sabotaging their relationship before it starts. Lucky for them both, his instant support system won’t let that happen.

This was an okay read. Very predictable. This also had so many errors that it took away from keeping attention on the storyline.

This story was OK but thats about it. It was diverting but not developed enough to really get me invested in the characters. Thanks for the Arc and the opportunity.

Levi Travis, a snow leopard shifter, was at a yearly family reunion held at the Travis family ranch in Northwestern Colorado. Feeling restless, he decides he needs a break from family time and shifts into his snow leopard form to run and hunt through the woods. Here he contemplates what he is looking for in a mate. Levi wants someone strong and dominant, that can over take him and put him in his place sexually. He doesn't want someone who is necessarily violent just someone strong enough to over power him, but still gentle enough to know that he could stop it if he really wanted to. All in all, he never figured it would ever happen and it would just be a fantasy.

Lyndon Hines, a cougar shifter, felt like he has been trying to find a place where he belonged. He was unsure what he wanted out of life. He just wanted to find peace, love, and acceptance. Something that he is not felt in a very long time. Lyndon's own father chased him off because he didn't want to share his own territory with his son or care enough about Lyndon when he was in human form. Besides being run off by his father, Lyndon is now on the run from someone else, another cougar who marked his scent in Lyndon's apartment claiming territory.

Now on the run, Lyndon makes his way to Colorado. While shifting into cougar form to hunt, he picks up the scent of male arousal. Curious like never before and aroused all the same, he hunts for the cause of his frenzied state. Finding Levi, he knew he could not let him go. That is, until the deed was done and he high tailed it and ran again.

Will Levi have the power to make Lyndon stop running and face the stalker who is out to get him?

LEVI was a wonderful character driven story that captivated me right from the start. It is very rare that I indulge in shape-shifter stories as I usually prefer a bit of realism in my main characters, and it is even more rare that I read a M/M story, but every now and then a story, such as this one, will grab my attention. Bailey Bradford really knows how to make a story come to life. Her characterization is flawless and you come to love the main characters and wish for their happily ever after. Bailey Bradford also sets the stage for the rest of the series by introducing a wonderful set of secondary characters from Levi's family. I, for one, can not wait for the second installment in the Leopard's Spot's series.

This is an short erotic M/M paranormal Novella with a quick story line and not much else.

This is the first in the new Leopard’s Spot series. It is a MM paranormal romance with some suspense mixed in for fun. It was a great story with some interesting spins on the paranormal world. It is a fast paced and well developed story with a mystery running through the book. I am waiting for the next installment of the series

This was an okay read for me. Pretty typical shifter tropes with the mates, this one with a penchant for violent sex that ends in the blood (that no one in the family seems to notice huge scabbed over scratches, punctures, and bites on their arms, neck, etc, hmmm.) Lyndon is a cougar shifter on the run after someone seems to be stalking him, another cougar shifter. He comes across Levi in the woods (both in cat form) and they shift and have some sex then Lyndon runs leaving Levi a little emo about the whole thing.

So, this was okay. Maybe 2.5 stars. It was difficult for me to get invested or stay interested. I actually started and stopped and restarted it several times over the last few weeks. It just didn't grab my attention.
There are so many characters that are introduced. I understand that this is the first book in a series, but there are just so. many. people. I couldn't keep anybody straight other than the MCs and Oscar, one of the brothers. Even then, when all the brothers are in the room they all run together.

Shifters. There is an unusual aspect (at least for me). These shifters are unaware of any other shifters outside of their families. They have never come across any before and definitely none of another species. It seems unlikely, then again they probably never leave their compound or stray far from their tiny hometown.
Somehow, Lyndon has come across exactly one other non-family shifter and he happens to be the same species. And that shifter also seems to know nothing about shifters in general. It just seems implausible. Why haven't any of these people researched their backgrounds? Searched for others?

Plot. It revolves around Lyndon and his need to run from an unknown, unseen, stalker. He is probably the poorest example of a shifter. He has the speed of his shift on his side, but all of his senses seem to be dull. Definitely not heightened in any form.
Romantic aspects...there is a lot of sex here. Even the epilogue is just a gratuitous sex scene. Instalove, fated mates, no conflict...none on the romantic scale anyway.

Confusion. There are several times that Levi's dad, Henry, is referenced as looking somewhere or making a sound...but he wasn't supposed to be in the scene. As in, he had left and was not in the house anymore. Maybe that is fixed in the final version, except this is just a re-edited version so was this in the original version? It is odd, jarring and confusing.

I was intrigued enough by Oscar that I want to read his story, but I am in no hurry for it. I'm sure I will get to it eventually.

Standard shifter fodder with a dose of supporting characters you can't help but like.

4.5 Stars I really enjoyed reading Levi. With its well written storyline and unique character it was an absolute pleasure to read. I look forward to reading more by this author. I definitely will be recommending Levi to readers.

I received an advance reader copy in exchange for a fair review. This is the first book I have read by Bradford but it will not be the last. The book was so interesting and well written it keeps your attention until the very end. I actually wanted the book to continue. Levi and Lyndon have a love for each other that is intense and very erotic. I can't say enough about how good the book is. I would highly recommend it for a great read.

It was good but it lacked something, the intimacy between them were fine and the sex was steamy. But I had to fight of sleep to read this, I wasn't tired it just kept looking my attention and got a bit boring

This book seemed patchy and jumpy. I was enjoying the story line, but then it was all over the place.
I kept hoping it would get better but it didn't

I found it rather slow and not enough connection. But I kinda liked the whole shifter world and not knowing where they came from but was underwhelmed with the little amount of shifter species.

Great start to a new series. Levi is spending the with his family at a family reunion. Need some time away his decides to shift and take a run in the woods. Levi is a snow leopard and when he meets a cougar shifter in the woods sparks fly, however the cougar, Lyndon runs when they finish. Lyndon is on the run from others. Can Levi and Lyndon find a way to be together? Plenty of drama and suspense, great characters and steamy sex. I really liked it.
