Gabe and McKenna's story was one that I needed the minute I finished Restrained Under His Duty. And wowzer did I not expect for it to take the turn it did. Gabe went all-in on Mckenna in one of the jerkiest ways possible, but he sure as heck made up for it later on. These two fell into a sexy comfortableness early on, without outside sources the ones causing them trouble. The book is suspenseful, sexy, while the characters have the ability to be both infuriating and endearing at the same time. Well worth the read!

5 STAR goodbye to the very hot and sexy Dirty Little Secrets series by author Stacey Kennedy.

In this Dirty Little Secrets book #4, Gabe O’Keefe wants to break all his rules about not dating his own employee when he falls for McKenna Archer but what he does when he finds out she betrayed him certainly sets this story up to be controversial in some people's eyes. Quite honestly I can't imagine anyone doing something worse and though I wanted to dislike him for it, I just couldn't. I could actually understand how he justified it to himself and how it broke him.

With everything that has gone on in McKenna's life she is the master of keeping her personal power in spite of events turning it upside down. Along with her depth of compassion and understanding about how people think she is a female character that the reader will feel drawn to. I understand her love for her brother who is only trouble. A part of me cheers her dedication to him and the other part says enabler.

The author Stacey Kennedy is the queen of showing real people with real problems in a compassionate manner and she does it superbly with McKenna and her brother. In this complex plot she hits on gambling addictions, hurting someone so deeply that you may never be able to correct it or get their love, finding love but giving it up to protect them and letting go of a loved one to love another.

A big 5 STARS for ending this amazing series in a manner that is deeply satisfying to the reader.

Cuffed by His Charm is the fourth novel in Ms. Kennedy's Dirty Little Secrets series, a spinoff series from her highly popular Club Sin series, and I've been following both, and was looking forward to reading this title, but, I'm sorry to say, it's not among my favorite novels in either series, and I can only give it 2.5 stars.

Of the four men in the Dominant's Council, mentioned in previous novels, billionaire Irish pub chain owner, Gabe O'Keefe is the last one of the dominants who's unattached, but he's certainly had the hots for his bartender, McKenna Archer, who has been working for him for about a year. He hasn't yet crossed his own well-defined policy of not dating an employee, but that's about to change in a very harsh way. As followers of this series already learned in the third novel in this series, someone is selling the secrets of and outing the four Dominants, all of whom own kinky sex clubs, and those stories are making front page news in the tabloid rag, Gotcha!, and, in this novel, it's now Gabe, owner of one of those sex clubs, Afterglow, who is the subject of the Gotcha' latest expose, and thanks to his friend and fellow Dom, Ryder, who owns and operates a private security agency, all signs point to McKenna as the person who bugged Gabe's pub, sold them out, and Gabe, who's been attracted to her since the day he met her, is livid and infuriated by her betrayal.

As the novel opens, Gabe, utterly enraged, storms into his San Franciso pub before it officially opens for the day, and when he finds McKenna there alone, he confronts her, accuses her of bugging the pub, of betraying him and his friends, and selling the secrets the men have been keeping to the tabloid. He's not in the mood to listen to or believe her denials, and he does what I can only call forcibly rape her. While she's not screaming rape, she never gave her consent, nor did he ask for it, and this scene lost me in a major way. Aside from what he did to her being illegal, for anyone whose been reading BDSM fiction, consent is essential, and as a Dom, his behavior is totally unacceptable and out of character.

When McKenna still insists she's innocent of any wrongdoing, Gabe drags her to Blackstone Security, owned and operated by fellow Dom, Ryder Blackstone, only to learn that McKenna has been telling the truth all along--it's not McKenna on the security tapes, it's her younger brother, Evan, who entered the pub and who is the guilty party, using McKenna's security code to enter and place bugs inside the pub after hours. It seems he's addicted to gambling, and his older sister has been enabling him and bailing him out of his debts for years, and although she still can't believe the way Gabe accused and treated her, she agrees to help him find and deal with her brother, as long as he agrees not to hurt Evan.

When they go to Evan's seedy apartment, discover a bloody mess in his bathroom, and Evan isn't answering his cell phone, nor is he anywhere to be found, McKenna doesn't know if he's dead or alive, but Gabe and Ryder agree to help locate him from whatever mess he's gotten himself into this time, a process which takes up much of the rest of the novel.

While Gabe deeply regrets and wants to atone for the way he accused and treated McKenna, I felt that she was way too quick to forgive him and certainly way to quick to willingly accompany him to his sex club and submit to him again. That scene also simply felt wrong to this reader. At no time were hard and soft limits set or safe words mentioned until McKenna agreed to be bound. While the sex scenes between these two were steamy, they never fully approached the intensity I've come to expect between a Dom and a submissive--again a let down. As far as Doms go, Gabe is perhaps the least dominant Dom I've encountered, and in most cases, I felt that he was more abusive than dominant.

For the reasons already stated, I didn't really connect with either of the main characters. There wasn't much relationship building between these two, and certainly nothing that I would call remotely romantic about their relationship. I've already mentioned that I had a big problem with the opening of this novel, and after realizing that all the action in this novel takes place in a very short span of time, about one week, I had a very hard time believing that after raping and being raped, Gabe and McKenna are suddenly in love, but when and why did that happen? Furthermore, for a self-professed, mature, 30-something Dom, I couldn't wrap my head around Gabe's rather pathetic kowtowing to his wealthy socialite mother's attitudes and opinions about what she considers proper behavior for her adult son. Granted, I can understand him shielding his mother from his sexual proclivities, but his denials about what the tabloids printed, tabloids his mother has read, certainly seemed lame to this reader.

While it was nice to catch up with the characters who were featured in the previous novels in this series, with the exception of Ryder's involvement in locating McKenna's missing brother, the rest of the time these encounters with the other Doms merely felt like unnecessary filler, taking up valuable space the author could have used to further the development of and relationship between her main characters.

Since I've read a number of Ms. Kennedy's other novels, I'm well aware of the fact that she's more than capable of much better storytelling, plotting, and character development than was exhibited in this novel, which I can only call disappointing.

I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this novel. The opinions expressed are my own.

I'm not entirely sure I've ever read a Stacey Kennedy book before and I am glad I read this one. There was no denying that Gabe and McKenna (LOVE THAT NAME) have chemistry with each other. The writing in this book, I thought, was strong and the pacing was excellent. We weren't being rushed into things. The author took her time in a way that the book held your attention but didn't bore you. Overall, I enjoyed the book & would recommend it!

I'm a fan of Stacey Kennedy and of this series so when I saw this book was available I jumped at the chance to request it. This book is the story of Gabe and McKenna and overall, I did enjoy it.

There's no denying that these two have chemistry together. It oozes between them. But when they weren't in the bedroom? I didn't love them. I wanted a bit more out of them to be honest.

The writing in the book was strong and the pacing was good. I just wanted a bit more out of these characters. It was fun to see glimpses of characters from the other books in the series. Overall I enjoyed the book and would recommend it.

When Gabe's secrets are made public he blames the wrong person. Mckenna finds out who is to blame but before she can tell Gabe he blames her. When Gabe finds out the truth he must try and make things right. Can Mckenna forgive him? Will their feelings survive or is it over before it even began?

I enjoyed Gabe and Mckenna's story. The two make a nice couple. As they work together to find out the truth and her brother their emotions begin to blossom. Choices and decisions must be made. Who and what do Gabe and Mckenna want in their life? Their story moves at a nice pace and quickly pulled me in right from the start. It was nice to see these two work hard to find a happy ever after.

A book with likeable characters, action, and betrayal. Some steamy sexual escapades.

McKenna and Gabe had good chemistry, however, the actual plot of this book was weak at beat. The overarching series plot doesn't carry well from book to book, and it was a little slow.

Warning: Do not read this as you are preparing to sleep. It’s a page turner in the wee hours of the morning. I fell in love with this story from the first page.

Rule #1: Don’t Date Employees | Yeah, right…Gabe O’Keefe is about to shatter that one. Gabe’s secret life has unravel and he blames one person: McKenna Archer. He is determined to make her pay for selling him out.
However he has been obsessed with her since she started working as a bartender in his bar. The more time he spends trying to find evidence on her, the harder it’s becoming to resist her sweet nature and his forbidden desire.

When McKenna tries to help her brother, her life become entwined with his secrets, lies and double dealings. Now, Gabe will break every rule to save McKenna from an enemy who may want her legs broken – or worse. Now both of their safety is being threatening.

If you like steamy romance with the right amount of angst , then Cuffed By His Charm is the book for you. Gavin is gorgeous, charming and protective while McKenna is sweet, devoted, fearless and curiously kinky. A perfect combination to bridge the sexual BDSM club owner to his craving and desire for her. Even though he takes an unconventional route to finally express his desire to McKenna you will forgive him and celebrate their HEA.

This story will immediately whisked you away from reality while you enjoy the hotter than hot sex. It’s spicy and emotional with lust, betrayal and redemption. An easy and fun read you do not want to miss.

While I confess that our hero and heroine, Gabe and McKenna, were absolutely explosive together, I was just not as impressed with them outside of their intimate scenes.

Gabe made an assumption about McKenna and his actions were driven by it. She forgave him waaaay too easily in my opinion. She felt unnecessarily guilty for something she had no control over and it just didn’t jive. Might just be the grudge-holder in me.

Other than that, these two really did have great chemistry. The plot was ok. The writing strong.

Complimentary copy received and voluntarily reviewed.

I really like the story Gabe gets and the woman he is matched with. Even with all the money he has and how business savvy he is, I like how he is just a simple humble guy. Down to earth, loyal, protective intense and strong. He just wants things simple and Kenna is the perfect match for him. She is just exhausted of bad things happening to her and this story is full of busy and difficult moments for her. But he gives himself to her with all he has and against his loyalty to his friends he more than helps her. He changes her life to simple and problem free. He even shows her that she has a chance to finally put herself first because he will put her first. And in between he also reveals to her a different side of him. A hot hot hot side of him that she is more than willing to participate in. She needed to be taken care off and he ends up doing that and owning her completely.

I received an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review. I thought it was ok. I really couldn't connect with the characters. There was a lot going on, but I didn't feel the love between the two or even any chemistry or attraction. There was romantic suspense, erotica/light bdsm. I found myself skimming to the end.

A great conclusion to an excellent series.
Gage was angry that was for sure, and he made it obvious with the extremely hot and sexy scene he made with his beautiful barmaid McKenna, he's been inching to get his hands on her for a along time but his no 'messing with employees' doesn't matter now because she broke his trust and so she's now going to be out of a job. But first he has to find out why she let him down and why, then he's going to finally conquer his insatiable lust for her.

Wow! A hot start to this exciting book. And so after the steam has cleared the story really begins, who has been leaking information about his bar and sex club...to reporters and the tabloids? And why? The tension and suspense gets high as Gage gets closer to his goal and characters from previous novels join in.
This was a satisfactory ending to the Dirty Little Secrets series, a well developed plot with a charismatic alpha-male who's been an enigmatic character though out the series taking the lead. A very enjoyable read, I highly recommend it!

Stacey Kennedy's Cuffed by his Charm is the fourth book in the Dirty Little Secrets series and it was so addicting. I have been waiting for Gabe's book for so long and honestly I could not wait to jump right in! Gabe and McKenna were pure chemistry. They were drawn to each other from the beginning and nothing could stop the explosive heat from sparking between them! I could not get enough!

When evidence points to longtime employee McKenna Archer as betraying Gabe and exposing his life as a Dom and sex club owner, McKenna must work hard to convince Gabe that she is innocent. But what happens when on the hunt for the real culprit, passions explode and their fiery connection cause an electrifying outcome neither saw coming?

I thoroughly enjoyed this novel and can't wait to read more from this author in the future! I would like to thank Netgalley and Random House Publishing - Loveswept for an advanced copy of this book for an honest review. Bravo! 4 stars! ~Ratula

*I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book.* Having to fight for a love that seems on the verge of falling apart before it’s even begun - this is the story of McKenna and Gabe. This is my first read by Stacey Kennedy and she thoroughly satisfied my intrigue for a romance that is played on the edge, and leaves you wondering if it truly will work out. If the fight they put forth will end up worth it. Gabe’s love for McKenna left me in awe. Giving up so much for her was never a question, and he demonstrated that 10-fold. However, McKenna’s love for her troubled brother seemed to be without question, the very thing that left her in ruins time after time. She was loyal to a fault; and attempting to rip her loose from this toxic pattern would be the very thing that jeopardizes her chance at true happiness. I enjoyed the way this story unfolded and loved these two characters’ love for one another. I will without doubt go back and read the rest in this series as this book introduced me more intriguing characters.

This is a delightful book, with strong, likeable characters, emotional angst, a complex plot and steamy sex scenes.

What follows is the tale of how Gabe needs to find a way to redeem his horrible behavior, McKenna's past is revealed more and more and finally, whether or not Gabe and McKenna find their own happily ever after.

This wrapped up the series in a great way!

This was a fun book to read, HOT HOT HOT. Loved the friction throughout the story. Loved the main characters and how they were able to support each other. Hope that there will be more books that bring the supporting characters into play again.

This is a delightful book, with strong, likeable characters, emotional angst, a complex plot and steamy sex scenes. It wraps up the Dirty Little Secrets series, and we finally find the source of the information the tabloid “Gotcha” has been printing about the owners of several local sex clubs.

McKenna Archer has been in love with her boss, Gabe O’Keefe, for some time, but he won’t blur the line between boss and employee-until he believes her guilty of spying on him and his friends and turning the information over to a tabloid. His treatment of her is horrible-as his guilt when he finds out that her brother, not McKenna, is the culprit.

McKenna has been bailing her little brother out of serious scrapes for years. She loves Gabe, but when push comes to shove, will she chose the man she loves, or the brother she has always protected?

The suspense in the story starts with the first chapter and continues to the epilogue. Expect some explicit sex scenes, including BDSM, McKenna is a woman who has overcome the tragedy of her childhood to support herself and her brother. Her strength and self-confidence are inspiring. Gabe is not particularly endearing in the beginning, but as he works to overcome his guilt, we see the loyal, determined friend and lover he really is.
