At first, I thought, how can you possibly mix historical fiction and comedy? It's such an odd combination...but it's a delightful one! Although greed and fame are the central themes of this story, it's so comical that one can't help but laugh at the desires that drive the main characters to such lengths. A must read if you need a giggle!
