I have enjoyed the author's previous works and looked forward to reading this because my family has been in Napa since the 1920's. l My family was one of the original families that built the real Napa business . . Knowing the real Napa behind the wine industry I can attest the author has his finger on the pulse of the wine industry and how it has affected the real Napa. It is always interesting to read about the major shakers in the wine industry and find out more about how the winemakers destroyed thousands of acres of pristine wilderness that the majority of the public has no clue about. Napa is at its finest a small town first, of hard working God fearing families that built Napa long before the wealthy corporations took over and long before wine came along. Knowing the real Napa I am pleased to recommend this book for all who would enjoy knowing the stories behind the big box wineries and the greed of the vintners that destroyed one of America's best small towns. Thank you for the opportunity to read and review this wonderful book.
My opinion is my own.
