I just loved this book and the whole series!
Melanie Summers has done it again. Tessa is funny and relatable. And a royal wedding- who doesn’t love it!

The sequels to the Royal treatment , starts with Tessa and Arthur having trouble in their relationship. Tessa's father-in-law is not the only one making her life difficult but the whole country. As Tessa goes from Anti-Royal to Princess-to-be, some see that as betrayal . Those are not the only road blocks. She needs to compete with others to become princess and prove she will be a worthy princess within 6 months.

Will the mounting pressure on Tessa and Arthur make their relationship stronger?

Knock, knock there are problems in paradise….
What can Tessa do when everything and everyone seem to be against her happy ever after? Tessa has no doubts: she has to fight to preserve her love, her dreams and her job!
But it is very hard not to give up when even the destiny and your beloved seem to betray you. Tessa will have to move from paradise to hell before finding her happiness with Arthur.
In this second chapter we’ll find a new Tessa ready to change herself in order to be a beloved future princess and we’ll discover that even a crown prince can improve himself, becoming a perfect future king, in order to defend his family and his betrothed.
Everything is described with humor and sensibility making the reading fast and intriguing. I raccomend it to everyone who desire to spend happy and humorous hours with Tessa and Arthur in order to know their happy ever after!

this was very cute and all, but not as enjoyable as the first. the angst and miscommunication in this one was just a bit much for me, not to mention the ridiculous amount of cringey embarrassing moments. it didn't flow as easily as the first one, felt more forced. but like i said, still cute, still a fun read, still going to read the 3rd one if it is on netgalley!

This book is a funny tale that lets readers see what happens after "boy meets girl" and they attempt to find "happily ever after." For fans of her previous novel, this book is worth checking out to see what happens between Tessa and Prince Arthur.

After spending so much time attacking the Monarchy in her blog, now Tessa Sharpe feels the taste of the poison itself...
After being invited by Prince Arthur to know the Monarchy inside, the two end up falling in love.
Now, with little time left for the Royal wedding, Tessa has to face several difficulties to show herself capable of being the next princess.
Arthur's love for her is not in doubt, the problem is the followers of her blog who do not forgive her for having changed sides.
Besides, the king himself does not think Tessa is the right choice for his son, and will do anything to keep Tessa from proving herself worthy.
In the meantime, the reader is amused by all the mess Tessa finds herself in.
Delightful reading.

3 Wedding crashed Stars

I loved book 1 with a reduculous passion! I received book 2 as an ARC and was so stoked in Septmeber I downloaded it immediately. Then I spent the next 3 weeks dreading ever single page and chapter!! It was still as quirky as book 1 but it felt less realistic and more forced. It was more awkward than adorable. I started to despise all the characters. I loved Arthurs tidbits he gave… and then I just didn’t care about anything else. I don’t think I ended book 2 with the sam amount of love I had for book 1 and I don’t know why. Maybe it was a bit of knowing my happy story was ending ? or maybe it was the book didn’t need a book 2? In book 1 Tessa took no crap from anyone and was unapologetically human and wonderful.. in book 2 she was spineless, emotionally weak and had a forced personality that made me had it. The language in this book is also quite ….. immature I feel the book couldn’t say condom without it being a joke.

…also when did Tessa’s entire family become horrible people that you hate… Nikki is a bitch and the royals were even worse… also Tessa’s mother… SUCKED

I will read this author again but not a spin off of the Arthur Tess romance.

I just could not get myself to finish this book. I started it 2 separate times and I just cannot find the will to finish. It is a shame because the description of the book had me drawn in but I didn't enjoy the character building at all.

Now that was entertaining. I enjoyed the first book and I got the chance to read the continuation in here. It’s really funny, her disadventures and how she struggles to fit in. Absolutely recommended.

This is the second book in a fun series - what can I say, I love reading about modern royalty because it feels like a fairytale and it is sooo escapist for me. The chemistry between these two is great and this was a fun and lighthearted read that passed an evening quite nicely for me.

Tessa was now engaged to the crown prince of Avonia -Arthur Laugesen. Tessa knew once Arthur put the ring on her finger she could no longer be the clumsy, blogger struggling reporter normal woman.Tessa had moved back to her parents house five months earlier. Tessa only had a part time job at The Weekly Observer. Tessa’s main source of income were her two remaining blogs. Tessa and Arthur hadn’t seen each other for six days as Arthur had to go to Genovia. Tessa even had a bodyguard now named Xavier. They wanted Arthur to marry Lady Dr. Brooke Beddingfield. The first thing King Winston had done when he found out about Arthur and Tessa impending marrying was assign Xavier to Tessa. Tessa took it as his version of throwing down the gauntlet that he would never see the wedding happen. Then Tessa and Arthur decide to marry in six months as he owes it to his people to have their festivities because their crown prince was getting married. Arthur told Tessa if it weren’t for his obligations he would whisk her off to Vegas and have Elvis marry them. The book is amazing. When I started reading I couldn't put it down.Keep up the great work.

I really enjoyed The Royal Wedding. It was funny, cute, hot, sweet, and I could go on and on... I literally wanted more and more of both Tessa and Arthur. What a cute couple, my god!

If you're looking for a lovely, hilarious read then this book is for you.

Such a great book!! I DID NOT read the first book, but I was perfectly able to understand bits and pieces of what happened in book 1.

Tessa Sharpe is living every girls dream, Prince Andrew of Avonia proposed to her last night, and she said yes. But the Prince didn't ask her Father's permission, so he's holding quite the grudge. Meanwhile, Tessa's mom is doing everything possible to embarrass her in front of her soon-to-be family. On top of that, every television network and newspaper is reporting her every move, from what she's eating to what she is wearing.

It's starting to become too much when the King tries to scare about her future, how she's not able to deal with this type of life,.
That night Tessa just wants to be alone, so Arthur stays in, planning on having dinner and watching a movie with his Grandmother, when Lady Dr. Brooke Beddingfield is at the palace checking on her. Brooke subtly invites herself to stay for dinner. The whole thing is uncomfortable for Arthur, holding his hands, touching his face, etc. After the 3 bottle of wine, he realizes that he spilled EVERYTHING that was bothering him about life and Tessa. That was after she said she wants to be close friends with both of them too, in a drunken haze, she told him she never found the right guy, because she's waiting for Arthur to open up his eyes. When Tessa calls the next day, he tells her he was watching tv with Gran, Arthur never tells her the truth, she has to hear it through Brooke.

Can two very different people from different lifestyles make things work?? His father is the King, hers a mechanic.

A humorous and entertaining read!!

A big thank you to NetGalley for the ARC. I voluntarily reviewed this book. This is the 2nd book - would not read well as a stand alone. I enjoyed the first book more, I laughed but found Tessa to be a bit annoying. This was still a fun fast read. I give it a 3.5.

This was a cute read but I did not enjoy it as much as the first book which was a shame as I was so looking forward to it.Don't get me wrong it was good and still worth a read I just missed the humor of the first book.

The Royal Wedding was a delightful and easy read, perfect for the dreary hurricane days I've been experiencing in Florida this month. Summers' writing style was very reminiscent of Meg Cabot or Sophie Kinsella. As an avid reader of the Princess Diaries series during my teen years, I felt as though I was reuniting with an old familiar friend in reading this book. The plot is fairly predictable, but entertaining and clever nonetheless. It's a great pick me up read. Looking forward to reading more from this author!

I wanted to love this, especially after the first book was so wonderful, but I just couldn't.

Some of the problems: Tessa comes across as very immature in her relationship with Arthur. She does idiot things like going to a foreign country, getting stupid drunk, causing an international incident, then demanding that Arthur apologize to HER because he wasn't allowed to lecture her. She was also very untrusting, even though he never gave a reason not to trust him. And her mother, Evi? What normal person with brain cells would embarrass her daughter by playing toilet paper games at a shower with royalty present? And then act all angry and injured when Tessa lost her temper over it. Tessa's family was no better. The texts they were always sending - kinda mean. And the friend Nikki who almost acted like she was trying to sabotage Tessa and kept criticizing her. "I don't like who you are any more." Translation: why are you trying to fit in with those people? What kind of true friend does that?

Worst of all, in this sequel, the humor just isn't there. Clearly, most people disagree, but I thought I'd be bookmarking all these funny lines and... not a single one.

I really enjoyed the first book in this series and was very excited to start right into this one as I read them back to back. Unfortunately, the excitement waned pretty early in this book. Gone were the laugh out loud moments and there were a lot fewer smiles this time around.

Also, I felt Tessa was a very strong personality in the first book. Throughout this one, however, she seemed a lot weaker. She did come around in the end, but by that time it was a little too late for me.

And personally, the heir inhibitor bit was not funny at all. I had that happen with the "sponge" years ago and no one was laughing. It was actually downright scary. Although I did like the name used for a condom.

In conclusion, decent read just not as good as the first.

Thanks to Gretz Corp, Indigo Group and Net Galley for providing me with a free e-galley in exchange for an honest, unbiased review.
