This is a hard one to rate. The writing is solid. Interesting premise and a few (mild) twists. I wavered between loving parts and being apathetic. Ending felt a tad rushed, after the buildup/countdown.

The beginning of this story was rather slow, and at times felt choppy. I had a hard time relating to the characters, although I can see how others would could find connection with them. Full disclosure, I wasn't able to finish this story before I ran out of time, as I received a copy for review. Unfortunately, I"m not interested enough to pick this book up again.
