This is such a fabulous story, it is moving and emotional and I didn’t want to put it down once I started it, this is the second book in this series about two brothers, the eldest is now happily married and expecting his first child and this is bad boy Prince Hazin’s story and it is a beauty as he falls for his sister in law’s best friend midwife Flo.
Hazin al-Razim has always been the black sheep of the family he married early to a chosen bride to please his family but when he is left wounded by loss he becomes a notorious playboy and seems to always be in trouble. He hides his pain well and stays away from home but the time has come to return, it is time to stand up and face life again and meeting Flo could be the answer for him.
Florence Andrews has always seemed to pick the very wrong sort of man and although Christmas is one of her favourite times of the year memories from last Christmas plague her but when her best friend Maggie asks her to go to Zayrinia and be there for the birth of her baby she cannot refuse but of course this will bring her in contact with Hazin the man that she cannot stop thinking about after spending a night with him.
This one had me shedding a few tears here and there oh Hazin is such a vulnerable hero he has been through so much and I fell for him hard but now Flo is there to give her strength and love and that love and caring is returned in bucket loads. I don’t want to give too much away other than this is a must read, beautifully written it bought lots of smiles and so much joy. MS Marinelli has a magical voice that brings out the best in her heroes and heroines and really knows how to pull the reader in.

Flo is a midwife while helping her best friend Maggie find a way to contact the man she was pregnant with she seeks out Prince Hazin. She never expected their night to get heated or that she would ever see him again but it turns out her pregnant friend Maggie needs her around as a mid wife and helps her get ready to deliver the child. Until that happens she'll be spending time at the palace during the holidays and will bump into Hazin a couple times.
I think how I described the book sounds terrible but it was the best that I can do without spoiling the book. I liked the characters I liked Hazins character even more then Flo but that's only because the readers get to know more about his backstory then Flo. We do get a brief history on why she's now keeping her heart guarded but that's about it. I liked seeing the romance between the two as well as seeing Flo and Maggie friendship. Overall I thought that this was a pretty good book.

This romantic story is a unique twist on the typical billionaire falls in love with an “ordinary” woman. With this theme, I looked forward to reading it. Unfortunately, I just couldn’t understand how Flo could fall in love with Sheikh Hazin. It was much more than a rocky road; it was disjointed. He ignores Flo, rebuffs her, and totally disrespects her. Even though we’re supposed to understand he’s still mourning his dead wife and grew up emotionally detached from his family, just couldn’t believe his sudden turn around. Flo is pretty likeable yet here too we find a weak-willed woman who has made bad choices in men. Could not get caught up in this story as much as I had wanted to.

This is Flo and Hazin’s story. He is a playboy prince and she is a midwife. Her best friend is married to Hazin’s brother and is pregnant. She meets him at a club where her best friend wants to talk to him about his brother. There are many misunderstandings. I loved the fact that this book picked up where the last one left off. I read this one right after the last one. I read it in one sitting.
