In a Flutter: Fun and interesting mix!
Fluttering Thoughts:
Worldbuilding: Sedona setting. Yusssss, awesome various elements, historical vikings/Valkyrie/Norse mythology, descendants of Lilith, plus very awesome original elements like the pictomancy concept. Add to that the Wild Hunt, Norse mythology, demon blood, spirit guardians slash magical creatures, curses, and magic – yup, much awesome.
Characters: First sentence in and I loved Rhea already. Really liked her free spirit and the tattoo artist thing just made her all the cooler for me. I loved her family dynamics and the way they came together when needed.
Leo was a mystery and we get to know him as the story unfolds. The parts of the whole were interesting though a bit confusing due to their names/titles.
The chemistry between them was instant and super hot, and the tension about them made everything all the more fun.
Plot: The slow burn romance pretty much drove me insane with all the cockblocking, lol. I liked the story outside of the romance, with all the layers of Leo’s selves doing their own thing. There was a lot of action and tension.
Writing: Third person, past tense narrative, his/her POV. Looooved her snarky voice!
Curb Appeal: Cool cover, hooking blurb – impulsive buy material for my PNR moods.

I recommend The Dragon’s Hunt to fans of Norse mythologuy elements blended into PNR and slow burn hot romances.

I enjoyed this story, I really liked the plot and the way it was written. I loved the characters chemistry and the events surrounding them.
It was a entertaining read, one to pass a little time with in between series. It was not fairly long nor short.

I enjoyed this book more than I should have. The plot was really inconsistent and I had a hard time following what was going on sometimes. But the characters were really interesting, enough that I will probably go back and read the other books in the series.
