It's great to have on hand for parents and teachers for those days you need an activity to keep the kids entertained.

Well written, easy to follow instructions. It could benefit from some extra pictures. Fun experiments that the kids are eager to try. It will be popular in school libraries.

Lots of great and easy to complete experiments. I tried a few with children in my class and they were able to do most of it independently. It would be great if there were more images though to help support! Thanks to Netgalley and Moondance Press for the ARC.

Many original experiments not found in similar books. Very clear instructions and graphics for the age range.

This was a lot of fun. My 9 year old and I did several of the experiments. She was able to do most things by herself, and we had most of the necessary ingredients on hand. Usually this ends in disaster and disappointment because we don't have the ingredients, or it's too hard, or doesn't work properly or its "boring", but this kept her engaged without me having to be overly involved with the process. We're looking forward to doing more!

This would be a great book for teachers/librarians looking for ideas for STEM/STEAM programs that incorporate simple, inexpensive hands on activities

Great book for tweens and younger. I think schools librarians should have no trouble with recommending this book.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an e-ARC of this title in exchange for my honest review. My 8 year old granddaughter and I went through it. I found it colorful, easy to read and with fun experiments. She liked that the experiments were interesting and looked fun and didn't cost too much to do. Many of the items suggested would likely already be in your house! I'd highly recommend this title.
