unfortunately, this one wasn't for me! I'm just not a fan of the author's writing and the characters! They weren't my style.

Nell was devastated when Declan stomped on her heart. She let him to it twice. Now he's back begging for a 3rd chance and since she still loves him she gives him a chance, for a few weeks till Christmas when she'll decide if she can trust him. Part of the Bravos of Justice Creek series that loyal fans will love. You can also read this Christmas romance without reading the previous books. I like Christine Rimmer's writing and she delivers a steamy Christmas love story.

3.5 stars. I struggled with reviewing this book. The writing was good, I was excited to read Nell's story and I usually like second chance romances. However, there were many elements to the plot that I couldn't buy into. One of my big issues was that Deck the H, was pretty much a stalker in his pursuit of Nell. Secondly, I just couldn't buy in that she got married in the manner that she did. Lastly, we get told they love each other, but I didn't get shown why they love each other. Overall, an interesting book, but for myself, not a storyline I was able to buy into, *I received an ARC of this book from Net Galley and this is my voluntary and honest review.

I'm a bit conflicted with this book. It was pretty good but there was something off about it as well. See the thing is I feel like their who relationship is based off their brief history ages ago and sex. I wanted to see more romance between the two and see why they loved eachother. The readers see that they love eachother through their thoughts but its not really shown other then them shacking up. But then again plenty of people can shack up with eachother and not be in love. If the sex was take away was there really much to prove they were in love? Also I'm not a fan of Declan he was VERY pushy. For like most of the book. It drove me nuts and he should've chilled out and let her warm up to him, yea Nell was stubborn AF but thats her choice to be that way. Overall this was an okay book.

Nell Bravo loved DeClan 'Deck' McGrath since she was in high school, as much as he loved her. His insecurities made him believe he wasn't good enough...and he dumped her...twice.
After the woman he did marry pointed out to him, that their marriage was over, because he was in love with someone else, the penny finally dropped and he went back home to try to win her.
Nell compared every man to Deck, and just was not willing to feel that kind of pain again,
He followed her to Las Vegas and relentlessly pursued her, and in a weak moment she gave in......but will the marriage last or is a divorce in the future, even if they are in love?
Well written romance that draws the reader right in.
I love this series and hope other bravo cousins come into play.
I requested and received an ARC from Netgalley and recommend it highly for romance fans.

Oh my goodness! I just loved Nell so much. This chick had spunk and made Deck work for it! Nell & Deck were highschool sweethearts in love but he ended up breaking her heart not once but twice when he broke up with her the first time and then again for the second. Eleven years later, after he married someone else and it didn't work out, he realizes that she is "it" for him so he pursues her for months but she is not having it! Until that is he follows her to Vegas where she is attending a conference (stalker much???) and after getting drunk, they end up hitched. Here in begins their story but as much as I loved Nell, I found Deck to be a d......g. I'm sorry but I don't think he ever truly understood how much he hurt her and the fact that he married someone else, that was no-no for me. Destroyed the story, hence for my rating as I absolutely HATE when the Hero especially moves on to someone else.....

Sweet story about a couple who just can't seem to make it work. But the hero has Finally learned his lesson the hard way and is determined to get the love of his life back. Some of the story was a little far fetched, but I am a sucker for a second chance at love (although I think this may have been a third chance at love!) so for me, it was worth the read!
