ARC COPY...It had action, adventure, exploration and k-pop dance concerts! It was hilarious the narrative literally starts from the previous sentence in the previous book, made even more hilarious I literally read both books one after the other in quick secession. Yes it was another hilarious, exploration adventure with Sebastian and Evie. The narrative is witty-comedy with each chapter "and where our heroes..." type of headline and hilarious foot notes to add to the experience. Narrative is split between Evie with the exploration crew in Australia on the mission from the last book with some toothy wild life rescue on the side and Sebastian...is doing multiple escape attempts with a side of k-pop. As always exotic locales are nice to see.

Okay, I’ll admit, this one DID fall flat of the first one...maybe it was because Sebastian and Evie were separated for like, 90% of the book. They just have the most adorable friendship that I kind of felt like when they weren’t together, it wasn’t as interesting. Because I admit, the first one didn’t start to get really interesting until they met. But after they reunited in this one, it got better for me.

I love the fact that we’re focusing on members of Filipendulous Five. If my theories are correct, then there will be different books focusing on finding the different members, until we can find Allistair.

All in all, a great book! Can’t wait for book 3!
