A fantastic start to the newest adventure on Robert Langdon, the excerpt was fast-paced, intriguing and smart. Add to that modern art at the Guggenheim in Bilbao, and I am hooked!

Thanks to NetGalley for providing an excerpt of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoyed DaVinci but never really got into the rest of Brown's books. That said the Prologue and Chapter 1 in this excerpt have convinced me it might be time to try another Brown. I'll be happy to wander around Barcelona with this guy.

I can't wait to get my hands on this book so I can finish it. It starts out as all of Dan Brown's books do with a little mystery and goes up from there.

I only read the sample of this book but as soon as I started reading it I knew it was going to be a book that I would need to go out and purchase! I have read all of Dan's other books and thought that they were excellent - this one seems no exception!

Whilst I was privy to only the opening 22 pages of Dan Browns eagerly awaited new Robert Langdon thriller, I immediately wanted more. The opening premise is intriguing and I can wait to purchase the new book to see what awaits our intrepid hero.

I read the preview excerpt of the novel "Origins" by Dan Brown.

After reading the sneak peek I cannot wait for the rest of the book to come out.

Robert Langdon -the main character and professor in the author’s Robert Langdon series- is called by a former student to an event in Spain with no deep explanation. His former student believes he will unveil a discovery that will shake the foundations of religions.

The premise sounds very interesting and I am looking forward to the entire book. This is his 5th book in the series and his novels generally include information about culture, history, arts, architecture, politics and even technology.

Sounds like it’s going to be a wonderful ride!

What a tease! I'm a HUGE Dan Brown fan, and I can't wait to get my hands on a copy, roll on October! This excerpt has hooked me already. Brown's writing style is full of mystery from the start. It drip feeds just enough to keep those pages turning, probably well into the small hours! Every book of Dans that I've read I've finished in one sitting, and based on what I've read here so far, this is going to be the case here too!

After reading a sneak peek of his latest novel Origins I can't wait to read the rest of the story, I was immediately hooked! Robert Langdon is called by a former student to a mysterious unveiling in Spain, no explanation. Only his former student, now a world-renowned maverick—a billionaire computer scientist, futurist, inventor, and entrepreneur, knows this unveiling will utterly shatter the very foundation of the worlds religions. This is a premise I am all-in for!
It is an amazingly talented author who can draw readers out of their normal genres to embrace what they normally don't gravitate towards. Dan Brown is such an author and I look forward to each book he writes. His ability to weave stories that marry history, culture, art, architecture, political intrigue, technology, all in a way that is completely plausible is so compelling, so intriguing, it makes him an absolute must read author for me.

What a tease! I think this book could become quite a hit. If nothing else it will either engender discussion, or be dismissed out of hand. Hopefully it won't shake the very foundation of religion....after all it is fiction. But is it based on fact? We will have to wait and see.

As in any roller coaster ride or star trek mission the first thing you do is FASTEN YOUR SEAT BELTS!
I am a Robert Langdon fan; as Dan Brown invents him, and as I have experienced in word and on the screen. Reading the first chapter of Origin only makes for a jittery foreboding tremor that shakes the mind and the heart. Open with Edmond Kirsch, a former student of Langdon, residing over an audience of three religious leaders in Catalonia Spain. Three days tense Kirsch will reveal to the world that the "Teachings of all religions are all Dead Wrong". Can't wait to see where Langdon goes and where this leads him. "A copy of this excerpt was provided by Doubleday Books via NetGalley with no requirements for a review. Comments here are my honest opinion." Can't wait for my pre-ordered copy to arrive on October 3 2017.

I was so excited to see that Dan Brown had a new Robert Langdon story coming out. I have enjoyed all the others and the movies with Tom Hanks. The history intermixed with the mystery and fast paced thriller is the perfect combination for this history major. I cannot wait to get my hands on the complete novel in a few weeks.

I have read Dan Brown's Angels & Demons as well as The DaVinci Code and enjoyed them both. Although I haven't read the next two in the "series" (The Lost Symbol and Inferno), Origins looks immensely interesting. I was hooked from the first page, and I can't wait to read the rest!
