This is a steamy and erotic story between Gunnar and Oliana. While I enjoyed the sexiness of it, it feel a little flat in terms of a story line.

This quick read that takes you back into the past and steams up the screen. Ms. Lynn hit the perfect balance of sensuality, description, and interesting facts.

I received an advance reader copy in exchange for a fair review. This is a very short story about Vikings who overtake a keep for the winter. The leader, Gunnar heads to the main bedchambers and finds a naked woman suspended from the ceiling. He ends up making love to her and later she talks him into making her his wife. A nice quick read.

A ridiculous short se. romp. Not much to say no real dialogue just ssex.

Talk about short story... I want more! Ferociously gentle and erotically sexy, Gunnar and Oliana will set your body on fire and leave you begging for more. A well rounded and detailed plot and characters, definitely an erotic must read, but again- I wanted more!

This was a good book, I just wish the story was longer.

In what is thankfully a short story, Vikings raid a village after a festival, when everyone is drunk and easy pickings. The leader goes off to rest in the previous lord’s room and finds a gorgeous blonde tied up waiting for him, expecting the previous ruler. Though a virgin, she’s smart enough to play along so as not to be punished. Blindfolded or not, she figures one is as good as another, and of course ends up enjoying it.
Feels historically accurate, but I’m not interested enough in this period to look it up myself. I do like that it was more than just straight-up sex, despite the short length. No big deal, just fun.

Gunnar needs a place for his band of Norsemen to hold up for the winter. An unguarded stronghold at the mouth of the Seine River is the perfect target. Oliana waits helplessly for her brute of husband to claim her. She doesn’t realize she is being seduced by an invader from the north until it is too late. The book is great.When I started reading I couldn't put it down.I adore reading this book.Keep up the magnifysent work.

A very steaming hot short story. I loved this fast-paced story line and plot. Also vikings could get surprised but in the end they took, what they wanted.
In this case it is Gunnar the Viking that takes a wife with him home from a foreign country.
I liked the chemistry, mystery, passion, lust, emotions and development. A short but worth the read novel.
Would have loved to read more about this couple.

This was all of the fantasies without crossing those lines that make them over the top taboo for so many. Bondage and force, without being overtly triggering. Hot and steamy, absolutely the perfect read while waiting for the husband to get to the bedroom. I would absolutely read more by this author, and more about these characters!

There is no point to this, it is so short you shouldn't bother reading. It just a sex scene.

This is a lot of fun for what it is, probably not a good fit for my library though.

This is a quick read with good characters and plenty of steam. I liked the story and would have loved more. Great chemistry and plenty of steam. An entertaining read.
